Andrea has been my hair stylist for the past several years and I would never go to anyone else. I see her every three weeks for either an eyebrow wax or hair appointment and she delivers every single time. I used to see her when she worked at a different salon but now that she owns her own salon it was an easy decision to follow her there. The salon itself is in a very convenient location with easy parking and is lovely inside. The decor is stylish yet comfortable and it has a very relaxing vibe, like a high end spa. I have changed up my style and hair color on many occasions over the past several years and Andrea has always done an amazing job of listening to what I want and guiding me to the best color/style for me. I completely trust her to take things in her own direction if I'm uncertain of what I'm looking for and she truly takes the time to consider my personality and lifestyle when styling my hair. She always does a fantastic job and I recommend her to all my friends and family. A great stylist is hard to find, especially one with such a wonderful personality. She has so much passion for her work and the skills to execute any and every request you could have. The one thing Andrea won't do is let you leave the salon with a bad style or color. If you request something that won't look good with your skin tone or work well with your hair thickness, she will find a way to achieve the look you imagine in your head but make it fit for your own individual attributes. Andrea has been my hairstylist for about 3 years. She has great instincts and skills. I trust her completely with not only my hair, but my image. I continue to carve time out to see her even though I have moved away from the Rochester area. I have thick curly/wavy hair. Her DevaCurl cuts constantly bring out the best in my curls. She also colors my hair, ranging from highlights to all-over-color (yikes, gray coverage now!). I am never disappointed with how rich the color turns out and how she manages to "get" the look I'm aiming for. At my last appointment I also consulted with Andrea regarding the makeup analysis. I wasn't really sure what to expect. I received a very thorough understanding of how to improve upon my makeup routine. She gently suggested swapping some products out for better ones, but did not pressure me. She walked me through applying foundation with a brush, blush/bronzer, under-eye concealer and a morning/evening skin care routine. (I asked her to focus on skin care/ foundation application, otherwise she would have gone into eye/lip makeup more too). Andrea is worth the money you're spending on her services. I have been going to Andrea for the past two years and I refuse to go anywhere else! She has a great approach to her clients in that she asks a lot of questions about overall desired maintenance, look, etc., and she provides great suggestions on how to achieve those goals. I have had both long and short hair, highlights and lowlights, and I have loved each style and color mix. Andrea has also been a great resource to me in understanding hair products and what works best for me and why. My hair has been more healthy in the past two years than it has been my entire life - and I have gotten more compliments on my hair than ever before! Last night I had the pleasure of receiving another gorgeous hair cut from Andrea! I have been a client of hers now for four years or so, and have always been completely satisfied with everything she has done. The wonderful thing about Andrea, is she listens. She listens to your concerns, your habits, your styling issues, what you do and don't like about your hair, and then offers her professional opinion. What I love is that she usually gives me two options about what we can do, either this, or that, which is perfect for me! I am not a very decisive person, but I do know what I like, and Andrea talks it out with me until we reach a decision. Andrea also knows her product. She knows each ingredient, and the effect they have on each other, along with your hair. I have never met a hair stylist with so much insight into what their products are. I used to be one of those girls with perpetual bad hair days. That is, until I went to Andrea for my haircuts. Luckily for me, Andrea is the best stylist I've found and she is now the only stylist I want cutting and styling my hair. Andrea is skilled enough to create perfect styles to suit each hair type. My hair tends to be poofy, neither curly or straight. Andrea is a fantastic stylist - I have truly never had a better cut. She listens closely to what you want as a customer, and she offers her own insights (hard-earned knowledge after years in a variety of salon settings and from extensive training). She is also just a generally wonderful person to spend some time with while pampering yourself - she knows the local area well, has great tips on what to do/where to eat, and will also share gems of wisdom on fashion. I went to Parlour for the first time one week ago and am still excited about my appointment! Andrea took the time to get to know me and my personal style. She translated that into a cut like I've never had in my life. My thick, semi-coarse ginger locks finally have movement and lift! I personally experience that all of the time and I am always quick to share what a fabulous stylist Andrea is.
