I walked in about four months ago because I was not especially happy with the salon I had been going to in Fairport for the past year. Joyce was lovely, warm, welcoming, and she "got" my hair which is thin and fine and fragile. I looked and felt like movie star Sharon Stone when I left. It was a beautiful blond color that brought out my natural highlights; I wanted a "just got out of bed" tousled, natural look and she gave it to me. Call Joyce if you want to look like a star, because for all we are doing right now for our family and friends and community, we women are stars!

I strongly recommend this salon.

I've been going to Nikki for the last 6 years and she does amazing work! I was so excited for her to open her own beauty lounge and even more excited that it's so close to my house! Street parking is availabile, but I will admit sometimes I drive around waiting for someone to leave their spot. When you enter the salon, there's a coat rack to hang your bulky winter jacket. The beautifully large windows allow a lot of natural light in. There's a nice waiting area where you can sit while enjoying a complimentary drink (coffee or alcoholic - - you choose!). Even the candy bowl is color coordinated! Profesional service, Pinterest-able decor, and a fabulous location! Check it out!

The nicest hairstylist, Taylor Arbore works here, and I can't say enough great things about her. I…read morehave been seeing her for almost a year, and I have never left unhappy. I was with a hair stylist for almost 20 years that did what she wanted to my hair and it was terrible. When I finally left and came to Taylor, I was very scared and and nervous. Regretfully, I probably wasn't the nicest person because at that point I did not trust hair stylist. But Taylor is not like this at all! She takes her time and makes sure to show you the process and explain everything. She gives her professional opinion but does not push you into a color or cut. She does not rush your appointment or have multiple people going at once. She makes sure to show me what the hair looks like through out the process to ease my nerves if we are doing something different. She has the bubbliest personality and always makes me laugh and enjoy getting my hair done. There is so much more I could say about Taylor but this review would be so much longer than it is already is. Just know that if you go to Taylor, which you totally should, you will leave happy, with beautiful hair and with so much confidence!! Do yourself a favor and book yourself an appointment with Taylor! You will not regret it!!

I did, however, have another stylist do my 10-year-old daughter's hair and I thought it was a $50 cut wash and blow dry but was charged an extra $25 for 15 minutes over the hour mark "because her thick hair". My problem is that she did not even start my daughter's hair at our appointment time. So those extra 15 minutes shouldn't have been charged to me. It would've been nice if she mentioned the extra charge as well instead of just smiling and saying her hair is so thick as she continued to thin it. She did a great job on my daughter's hair but shouldn't start late to do someone's hair and then charge them extra time for going over the hour without asking if I want you to take the "extra time". It was just a bit frustrating.
