Needed to update my style, fix my messed up attempt to cut bangs myself, I'm visiting family near this Hairzoo, after a short wait, I didn't have an appointment, Steve introduced himself and said he would be my stylist, I had long hair ( he cut about 9" S off), I confessed to trying to cut my own hair, asked if he could fix it he said no problem, I told him to cut my hair however he felt would look good on me. I put myself in his hands. I could not be more happy with the results! My son & daughter in law were happy and said I look fantastic (and younger). Steve was personable, engaging in conversation with me, all the stylists were kind and fun all took the time to tell me how great my new look is. Overall a happy, fun experience. Went to the Hairzoo in Webster for the first time a couple weeks ago and will continue to go to this location for many years to come. I walked into a packed salon which immediately made me feel like there must be something about this place that brings this many clients. I got my haircut from Steve, who come to find out later in through discussion he is the manager of this location. It speaks volumes when I can go into a place and not have to tell the stylist, 'can you fix this, can you fix that, etc. " once the cut was complete. His professionalism and attention to detail are only a couple of the reasons why I will continue to go back to Steve. I must have had my haircut by over 25 different barbers/stylists and there's no comparison. 5 Stars!!!!!! read more

Been getting my haircut at Hairzoo for while now, and have gone through definitely my fair share of different hairstyles. Every time no matter what the cut or how unsure I was of exactly what I wanted Kelley P my hairstylist was patient, listened to my somewhat unsure thoughts and help me to a decision, and every time it was a great cut. After going to other places here and there I always found myself happiest with the cut I got here. Its come to the point I wont let anyone other than Kelley cut my hair,she knows what looks good on me, answers all my questions, and gives an awesome cut, all while keeping it a light, fun, and enjoyable experience. Stopped in on New Years Eve, no appointment. Was greeted right away, cheerfully and they were able to get me in immediately. Lisa was my stylist and she was AWESOME. Took her time to make sure I was 100% happy with the cut (it was a big cut, took off about 10 inches) all the while chatting away with both me and my 12yr old daughter. It was a very pleasant experience and the cut is adorable, I love it and get so many compliments. To everyone that says you can't get a super stylish, modern and just all around awesome hairstyle without paying a fortune, I say go see Lisa at the Holt Road HZ... she's great and will definitely change your mind! read more

I am crazy about my hair and how it looks. So when I moved to Rochester I had issues finding a good hair dresser that I trusted. I went through a few stylists but wasn't satisfied until my friend referred me to Steve. He always gets my hair to the crazy colors I request and always cuts my hair perfectly. I always give him a lot of requests and I'm really picky but he always transforms what I'm asking for in my hairstyle. Went to Hairzoo today and it was a treat to get a barber who knows what their doing (unlike other area chain salons). I had my haircut by Steve the manager of this location and he interpreted my style (my wife likes it short on the sides and long in the top) perfectly. The sides were high and tight, great fade and blending, none of those little hairs poking out which is always frustrating if a barber doesn't know how to blend properly. Today was my first time at hairzoo since I recently moved and did not have a hairzoo close to where I used to live. Doria washed and cut my hair and she did a fabulous job. So hard to find to find a stylist that does such a good job!- in my past, I have had many stylists just do whatever they want and don't listen to what I actually wanted. Doria also gave me lots of advice on taking care of my hair and I felt she really cares and enjoys her job, and I left loving my new haircut. Went to the Hairzoo in Webster because a friend told me what a great cut she got from the manager, Steve(which I have to agree, she looks great). Since I was looking for a new stylist I was open to giving it a shot. Best thing I could have done. Steve was so patient as I explained what I wanted and then gave me one of the best cuts I've ever had. Steve has been my barber (stylist) since last year. Same thing goes for my little guy who is 4 years old. He was always terrified to get his haircut until he met Steve, wouldn't even let me come close to his head with the clippers at home without a fight. Probably knew dad would mess it up lol. I've been going to Steve for four years and every time I leave I am more than satisfied! My last visit with Steve I walked in and told him to go wild.
