Nail Loft is fantastic. I am a loyal regular. Nail Loft is a small quaint nail salon located in the newer buildings in the Erie Station plaza on W. Henrietta Rd off of Erie station. I was most impressed by how sanitary the nail techs were in this salon. They wore gloves during pedicures, washed their hands throughout the appointment, promptly sterilized used tools properly. It is overall a very clean, new, modern salon. They have a wide variety of high quality nail color both regular and gel. They recently expanded their gel nail polish to choose from, particularly up to date colors from O.P.I., DND, Kiara Sky, and more. They have an array of services offered, such as waxing, manicures, different pedicures, acrylic nails, and gel over acrylic. There is an average of 2-4 Nail Techs staffed. It can range between very busy to slower days. However, Amy, my nail technician is always very meticulous, neat, she takes her time, is extremely knowledgeable, and l can count on her to consistently do a phenomenal job. She takes pride in her work, and I trust her with my nails. I have been coming here for a while now. I really have enjoyed each time I've come. Chenh (sp?) is so nice and does such a beautiful job. Pictured are my French tips I got done before getting engaged. I have also gotten my brows and lip waxed here. My brows came out great, and at $12 are a much better deal than going somewhere like Ulta. The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. To my understanding, the salon is under new ownership since the previous negative reviews. Definitely recommend Nail Loft. read more

I've attempted to get a pedicure here for the last time! I've called for appointments and been told they're too busy. Ive walked in 3 times and they've always turned me away. They only have 2 workers but 5 pedicure chairs and 5 nail stations. So I'm not sure what this joint is about. It's clearly not to provide pedicures to people! They also answer the phone rudely and are not any nicer face to face! They make no apologies or attempts to schedule or accommodate me! They simply did not want to provide service to me! Had a pedicure done. The water was a comfortable temperature and they did a decent job. The reason for the 3 stars is because I had called ahead to schedule a pedicure and was told the price was $27. After it was done, i was then told that it was $30 for men. Their price list didn't indicate that there would be an extra charge for men. Even though the service was decent, having them mark up the price after the fact is frustrating and is a reason that I won't be coming back. read more

Sorry for the not so fun post. But here it is... Called on Friday and asked the lady on the phone if I could used my just expired birthday certificate on a service since I lost it and just found it mid-move while getting all my stuff packed up in boxes. She tells me since it just expired it should be okay so I get excited, thank her and tell her I'll come in the next day. Welp it's Rochester and we got dumped with snow and it wasn't safe to drive so I couldn't make it out. I try and make it out today since the roads are clear. I walk into the salon and the lady who spoke to me on the phone changed her mind and said she didn't want to take me any more because I didn't come in on Saturday.. I tell her that we had the snow storm and she didn't care, she was more upset that I had her "waiting all day" to come in even though I never made an appointment. Her attitude was the most irritating to me out of the whole altercation. Why does coming in a few days late change me being able to use my $50 certificate? She never told me on the phone that I had to use it by the next day either. All she said was come in when you can. I've gotten my nails done here before but this just made me not want to come here even more. Where's the sympathy? I understand i was using an expired certificate but getting the okay to use it and then having the lady rip the rug out from under me saying it's no good anymore just cause she wanted to say so doesn't make a good client relationship. You want people to like your specific salon and to want to come back right? Having me drive out for nothing really sucked you know. Better communication would have definitely helped because now they just gained the $50 without having to tough a single nail read more

I don't normally write reviews after only one visit but in light of my recent experience and regardless the positive reviews I read before making an appointment I just can't bring myself to return for a second time. I'll preface by stating I have been in a similar service business for many years, in fact, I owned several salons so I am very aware of standards and conventions. That being said and on the positive side this salon is located very conveniently for me which is important because I am especially fond of having my nails done often. I was also able to make an appointment (which I prefer) for the next day. The salon is attractive, appeared clean and is well appointed. There is also plenty of convenient parking. There are two nail technicians. On the negative, perhaps I am a bit critical considering I have knowledge of the business, though the service was performed quickly and efficiently I have never been treated so rudely or felt so uncomfortable. My attempts at casual conversation were met with scowls and grunts, my one request was denied flatly with a lame excuse, one that I know not to be true. The nail drill slipped and bruised my skin and there was no comment from her. I had an acrylic fill with gel polish and it was adequate. Two weeks later the polish is still intact but the natural nail beneath is now ragged and has begun to curl. If I was feeling good about our interaction I would have requested a pedicure but I felt unwelcome. Cost is secondary to me and I always tip well, even if I am not thrilled and I left 25% which the technician didn't acknowledge. There is a prominent sign demanding that tips be in cash which mine was. When she was done she simply got up and walked away. According to other reviews there are several satisfied clients; my appointment was late in the week but there were no other clients there. I can forgive a less than perfect service but not a lack of common courtesy so I will choose another salon for my next visit. read more

This is called Allure Nail Spa now. It's the same phone number though. They do an amazing job with manicures & pedicures. It is VERY clean and Tee & Tan are very friendly and sweet. I do suggest making an appointment as they are popular but you can usually get in if you call a day ahead. I'm so glad I found a great nail place so close by!!! read more

Nice job. No cuts on my pedicure or manicure. I had a gel nails done, and lasted 3 1/2 weeks. No peeling up at all very impressed. I would return. Very fast also. I think I was done in less than 75 min. read more
