Clean and Anna very attentive. She squeezed me in last minute because she knew I had to fly out next day. She had a group of 9 coming in but made sure everyone was happy. Well done on staying so organized with such a large group. I had an acrylic fill, gel pedicure, and eyebrow wax was out on there in about a hour. $127 read more

My close friend and I went there for our pamper day and people there were a-m-a-z-I-n-g!!! We wanted to do foil nails and it was very new for us. It was fun to watch and only one person at nail spa can do it. So she asked me if it is ok for her to show her colleagues how to do the foil nails. I love to see someone who is willing teach others new skill. It is amazing to watch them work as a team. I have to admit that I do not see that often with nail industry. I actually enjoyed and loved my nails they did for us. Thank you for amazing experience and I would recommend you all to go there if you all want to do foil nails. It's beautiful!!! read more

R Nail Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Rochester, New York

I'm not normally one to write a bad review but man did I have a horrible experience at this place. First of all I called before coming to ask if anyone had time to do a full set, the lady on the other end of the phone said it would be about a fifteen minute wait but that I could come. I was seated pretty quickly, but then ignored for long periods of time while she hopped back and forth between me and 2 or more other clients. Why not tell me you're booked and to try again another day rather than letting me feel ignored when I called prior to make sure there was time for me? The nails I came in with wanting removed and redone, were done at home by myself. She told me I did a "very ugly job" and that they were very uneven and looked bad.... thanks, could have just not mentioned it. She was in such a frantic rush between servicing me and the two or three other clients previously mentioned she spilled acetone all over my hands and was tripping over things and knocking stuff over. I told her my nails were natural (I had spent months growing them out and protecting my length with dip powder) and that I did NOT want them cut off, she disregarded that and cut them ALL OFF, and then had attitude when I told her I didn't want my natural length cut off, only trimmed and reshaped nicely, and that now she would have to give me tips to make up for the lost length. Then she proceeded to give me nails that look almost as bad as what I came in with, an atrocious uneven acrylic application and a splotchy gel top coat that left my nails looking textured. I was ready to walk out when I was being ignored with my fingers soaking in acetone for long periods of time and frankly I regret not doing so, these people didn't deserve my money. read more

I moved back to Rochester last year after living in NJ for 25 years. I get biweekly fills and pedicures and I have very high standards. I started here and was instantly hooked. I moved to Webster and tried new nails salons but nothing was even close to R nails. I do gel fill ins which only a few nail salons in Rochester do for some reason. I will never go anywhere else again. I make the drive and am always happy when I leave. Their prices went a a bit after re-opening but it's worth it. They have tons of color and most do nail art! Make an appointment so you don't have to wait! read more

R Nail Spa - Cute flowers - Nail Salons Near Me - Rochester, New York

Wow, I loved this salon! It was very clean and inviting. Everyone is very friendly. The sister to the owner is really sweet and you can tell she enjoys what she does. They a good deal of $40 for a basic mani/pedi and $52 for a gel manicure and regular pedi. I opted for the latter service. They offered us hot towels and drinks (water, tea, soda) when we sat down, which was a pleasant surprise. My tech was very sweet and straightforward. She did a great job of properly cutting the nails, removing dead skin, and applying the polish. I love my gel manicure. 4 stars because my cousin's nail tech asked if she wanted a flower on her big toe without telling her it would cost an extra $5. Other than that, we both really enjoyed our services. What sets them apart from most nail salons I've been to is that they actually clean and sanitize their tools after every client. If I lived in the area I would visit all the time! read more

So happy with my experience here. Is a classic nail salon, wasn't packed but really good service. I was looking for something simple and clean but wanted tips. She used a tinted pink/clear gel with coffin-snapped tips. Loved it! read more

The inside of the spa is pretty neat and clean. The nail technicians aren't very talkative but nice. If you're looking for a spa day to relax without having the other person trying to start small talk, then this place would be your go to. I got the T74 OPI Gel Manicure from Kevin which came out to be approx $27. First you get a bowl of water with orange slices to soften your cuticles. Then you get a hot towel to cleanse and steam your hands. There were folks waiting for over 20 minutes but Kevin took his time to double check and make sure that each nail was cut and filed to perfection. Afterward, you get a moisturizing hand and cuticle massage. I would definitely go back because they made sure the service was done right without rushing you. read more

Big place with a lot of stations for manicure or pedicure - very friendly staff - good prices

Called ahead to make appointment, which is always best to do. This is the 2nd time I've had Howie do my gel manicure and he nailed it! Lol. Nice, clean and friendly atmosphere too. read more

The nails: To die for, they met my unusual request with an open mind and they came out fabulous, no mistakes, and I was done in like an hour which was great. As for COVID: The place was super clean, all customers were spaced out between stations. The only thing is that the owner wasn't wearing a mask, and she walks around the salon without it. read more

Update: I've been coming here for the past 3 months and my nails always look amazing! The trick is to book with either Gina or Angel who are both very meticulous when it comes to their work - I love it! Usually I get dip powder with a tip put on my nail and it costs $40, which I believe is reasonable for only having to get them done every 3 weeks. If you're looking for someone to perfect your nails, look no further! read more

I had a great experience the first time I visited R Nail Spa. I had the gel dip and my nails looked fantastic. When I went there over the weekend, I had the opposite experience. I asked for a gel spa pedicure ($55) and gel manicure ($27). There was no one in the salon, yet they decided to do my hands and feet at the same time -- I will never do this again. For $55 I expect my feet to be soft and callous-free for at LEAST a week. My gel manicure has already begun peeling off and as a new mom with a busy schedule I don't have the time to stop back in to have it corrected. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm so disappointed as I originally thought this was a great salon. read more

I am disappointed with the work that I got done. I had a pedicure and dip powder with extensions. The pedicure turned out nice the only thing that was wrong was my feet were still rough. I also showed the nail tech what I wanted my nails to look like and it looked nothing like how I imagined it. I eventually ended up going to a different nail salon to get my nails redone. read more

I am very disappointed with this Nail Salon. I asked for a simple leopard/fall design and that's not at all what I received. The print wasn't even a print, it was just blobs of nail polish and when I recommended adding the black outline, she messed it up and didn't start over to fix it. The nails also scratched shortly after I left and the prices was NOT cheap, I paid $55 for nails that came out like shit. I highly do not recommend this salon for any designs. read more

Love love love this new nail spa! I'm so happy this location opened up. It's clean, spacious, and the employees are the best. There are many regular, gel, and dip polishes to choose from, and the services are all very reasonably priced. I got a mani/pedi and am very satisfied with both. Gina did a great job and helped me feel so relaxed and pampered. This is my new go-to! read more

My nail salon is closed due to being in the orange zone. I was pleased they had an opening. I found the experience nerve-wracking. She kept having to answer the phone which made her forget where she was. The color I picked out did not match the sample so I will be going over my powder dip with nail polish to achieve the look I want. One hand is shorter than the other and my nails are square oval usually but right now there are two nails that are more oval than the others. For me, it was not a pleasant experience. read more

Guys this place is a hidden gem. As soon as I walked in i was shocked on how stylish the place was. They have a really nice collection of colors. And gurl my nails came out so good! Everyone was so nice, it was very clean and comfortable. I recommend making an appointment, they were very busy and have a small staff. So I've been looking for a place to go just every so often and I of course got on yelp to find a spot. I stumbled across R Nail Spa and I'm glad I did. I went around 10:30am so I was the only one there. They had a boat load of colors to choose from. I went for a full set with gel nail polish and Milan did a great job. She also did my brows and I'm glad she did, I don't look like I have caterpillars anymore. She took her time and did great. I will absolutely be returning to see her. read more

Got my nails done today for a wedding and I was amazed at how it looked! I love this place it's clean, cheap (compared to most places), and they have fabulous customer service. I recommend anyone looking for a new place to schedule your appointment right now and head over (trust me it's worth it). PS. I suggest the Gel Full Set ($40)/ worth every penny read more

Took my sisters out for a spa day. Decided to go there because a friend recommended it. Spent a pretty penny just to get our nails done. Just for my sister to get her eyebrows waxed and have them messed up (very uneven and left a huge chunky in her right eyebrow along with making them very thin) Was my first time there and definitely won't ever go back. If I could give them no stars I would. read more

My friend is too shy and nice to come on here and comment but she went in for a fill and the lady that helped them wouldn't listen to anything they said and abused their fingers, absolutely tore that shit up and left the fingers hurting the rest of the day. Returning to the Rochester area after a 20 year absence I spent the last few months on a search for a nail salon and after 3 unsuccessful attempts I landed at R Nails. I made an appointment for an acrylic fill because I prefer to be expected rather than take my chances on accommodation. I base my choice on location (this salon is only a 15 min drive from my home) and previous reviews (thank you, internet) though some reviews are rather dated. This salon is only about a year old (I learned this after the owner was kind enough to recognize and chat with me); it's spacious, well appointed and appeared very clean. There is a generous parking area and is easy in, easy out. I was greeted when I entered, offered a drink and it was explained they were a bit behind and I might have to wait a few minutes. I'm fine with that; there is polish to pick out from a very large selection in neat rows. There are magazines, an unobtrusive television and the wait was only brief. I saw printed lists of services which were extensive. I don't expect my nails to be done exactly to my preference the first time I visit (yes, I'm picky)but I do appreciate when the technician is willing to listen to my request and do her best to accommodate. "My Lan" was gracious and gentle, friendly and there was just enough conversation to keep me from falling asleep. All the employees seemed very pleasant and looked like they all got along well. I felt comfortable enough with my nail experience to request a pedicure. I was offered the menu of many different kinds of pedicures but I opted for my usual. The chair was very comfortable and again, My Lan did exactly as I asked, checking often about my comfort. Though I feel it should be fair, fortunately pricing is not my first concern. The bill was explained to me when presented and they pleasantly accepted a credit card (in other salons they practically spit on it). I always leave a tip in cash. All in all, I feel very pleased that I found a place I look forward to visiting again; it's very professional in a friendly way and thank goodness because for a time I considered giving up on nail services altogether. Highly recommended. read more

Went with a friend. Establishment was very clean and the employees were friendly. We both got manis and pedis. My friend only wanted a buff and shine for her mani. The woman didn't really seem to know what she was looking for so it wasn't don't 100%. Overall good service. I will definitely try this place again. read more

I've been to this location a couple times and overall I like them and would go back. However, it you are going for a special event, I would avoid the gentlemen working there. I went last week to get my nails done before a wedding I was going to and got a gel manicure. One week in, two of my nails are already chipped and the polish on half my nails don't go all the way down, so they look grown out already. He also didn't cut my nails straight, which you can't tell with polish on, but I can tell when I look at them and he left a couple of my edges sharp. I didn't complain while I was there because I don't like to be difficult, but after spending $30, I would expect for my nails to hold out at least a week out. Disappointed with this recent experience. Overall, this location is clean and the staff is friendly. read more

This is the first time my sister and I booked our appointments with R Nail Spa and we will definitely be returning. The spa is only a year old, so everything is nicely renovated and clean.
