I got a Brazilian at Wax it All with Stephanie 2 days before leaving for a vacation. During it she was great and personable. But when I got home after, I realized I was missing tons of skin down there and was left with raw vagina lips after my Brazilian wax. Not only was I left in a lot of pain but chunks of skin were missing, I tried icing and burn cream to try to heal it. The next day I called the salon and they asked me to come in so she could see it. When I got there I showed them the raw patches and all she said was yeah your PH was off- pretty much blaming it on me. Which fine, if that was the case I'm fine with that but if she knew that when she was going to perform the service she should have said that and told me possible consequences instead of just going ahead. She said yeah it's just raw skin you'll be fine, and put some aloe like gel on it and told me it should be fine in a day or two. Which I doubt. I was made to feel like it was my fault that my skin was ripped off when I came to get a Brazilian like tons of other people do and now I leave for my vacation in the morning and it's already ruined. They told me "just let us know when you come back next time your ph may be off or you have sensitive skin and we'll make a note to see if we can prevent it again" I wanted to cry while I was there I felt like an idiot for choosing this salon for my Brazilian, I should not have to pay for a service where I'm now left to deal with open skin. There were no other questions and really no one cared that I had my skin ripped off they just were like have a good day thanks for coming in! There will definitely be no next time for getting my coochie skin ripped of thanks but no thanks! read more

Immediately after you walk in everyone is so welcoming, the owners always make an attempt to make conversation with you/compliment you. I've been getting my lashes done for over a year and can never complain, even being a running and most of my lashes come off during the 2-3 weeks Shelby will always make them look perfect again. Considered checking out this salon, but sadly I had to change my mind. As I walked around the corner, I could hear the employee's talking about the "ghetto" and how nasty the people are there and etc, only to turn around to boost how their African black soap is "selling like hot cakes". If you can't respect black people, stop profiting off of them for your benefit. It's disgusting. If you can't do that, then at least be professional regarding the conversations you have with your door open. read more
