Victor was very responsive and helpful during initial contact to discuss my project and to develop a scope of services and cost estimate for my outside breaker box replacement project. We were able to quickly coordinate a virtual Facetime meeting so that I could show the project location and site constraints. The work was scheduled quickly, Luis and his assistant were communicative about the arrival time, they were very knowledgeable about the work to be done, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I had a question about the breaker box the next day, and Victor was able to stop by between his scheduled appointments to meet with me and troubleshoot a different issue that was unrelated to the work performed. I have an older home that has required numerous contractor calls over the years, and ElectriSource has provided the best experience. Had an amazing experience with Electrisource! Needed wiring ran to our new screened in porch and a ceiling fan installed. Contacted them as I was referred by a co-worker. Their estimate was very fair, the office manager was very polite and responsive. She able to get my job squeezed in the same week luckily, and it went wonderful. We had two technicians come for the job and they were extremely pleasant with us. They even allowed my 3yr to supervise through the window LOL. We're really happy with our experience with Electrisource. Before moving into our new house we wanted to make sure the electrical systems in our house were in good shape. We scheduled for Luis to come by for an inspection and quote. He immediately identified that the main panel had a number of code issues and recommended a replacement. We also priced out a mountain of other work we wanted done. The pricing was very competitive. Over the course of three more visits and a couple of weeks, Luis and Sam installed a new main panel, a new meter (the old one had been made a nest by animals), two grounding rods, a cold-bonded grounding wire, 12 recessed lights, 6 new fixtures, a ceiling fan, a Nest door bell, new switches, new outlets, GFCI outlets, and a handful of other things. Lots of work, but Luis and Sam from Electrisource made quick work of it. Everything works well and looks great. They were prompt and punctual and communicative. They showed a lot of attention to detail. Just check out the orientation of screws on the switch plates - all vertical. Very nice touch. What appeared to be a great appointment in the making, quickly became a disaster in customer service from the owner of the company. I'm glad that I did not proceed with Victor's company for this rather simple job. I reached out to Victor on a Wednesday via email, in which I detailed each of the job requests for my project. I provided pictures to help him with his assessment. He provided a reasonable quote for the work and we scheduled an appointment for Saturday. To be sure, I followed up on Thursday to confirm his understanding of the job details. He confirmed and provided a time window for the appointment. Saturday morning (less than one hour before the appointment) he called to explain that his team cannot do most of the tasks in the job request. Additionally, his crew needs me to lift and move the appliance to do their work, which Victor wants me to pay for. I cordially reach out to Victor to request some accommodation or adjustment to his quote since he mistook my request, he cannot do all of the work originally requested, and labor from me is needed. He acknowledged his oversight but did not adjust his price. Fine. I respectfully decline the work onsight and via email, express my discomfort with the scheduling and communication and compliment his staff's professionalism. I also encourage him to give closer attention to customer job details in the future, so that others are not inconvenienced like I was. (I will now have to wait several more days to schedule and remediate my electrical/appliance problem). His response was curt and unpleasent: "Bottom line, it didn't work out..." Not what I would expect from the company president. I will not work with them in the future or recommend there service. read more

I found this company on Google search and they literally came out and did all the electrical work within a week of notification. They're team came out perfect es they're assessment, contacted the county for thr permits and did an exceptional job on the instillation. My GFCI outlet was tripping regularly when I used the blow dryer. It was diagnosed that it needed to be replaced, the replacement only took a few minutes during the diagnosis visit. It has been a week since the replacement and the outlet no longer trips. I had a few other questions and they were thoroughly answered. I started noticed an electrical issue and my furnace not working at 1:30 pm on a Friday. I seemed the electrical issue was related to the furnace not working so I went on Yelp and chose to call Electrisource based on reviews I had seen. They were in my home within a little over an hour after calling them. I was very relieved they were able to fit me in so quickly. They actually determined that the furnace problem wasn't directly related to the electrical problem. However, after resolving the electrical problem, they managed to resolve the furnace anyway. I'm very happy with the service I received and will use them again in the future. read more

Old post: Victor never actually performed services. The 5 stars are for his character as a decent human being: Problem: electrical fire at 2am- very smoky and smelled like burnt plastic. Shut off fuse box and called Victor first thing this morning (3/19/2020). He scheduled me in for this afternoon, but told me to call Dominion first and keep him updated. Turned out it to be a building code violation and condo association has to fix it. No appointment needed. With the shutdowns of COVID19, toilet paper and food shortage, hysteria, I know small businesses are hurting for money. Right now we are seeing the best and worst of humanity. Victor immediately told me to call dominion power, despite knowing he might lose business. He did this without hesitation. Yes, I know we are all practicing social distancing, but small businesses have bills to pay As teachers, we are also shut down, and while we get paid right now (unused snow days), our future is uncertain. Victor offered to honor a teacher discount, as well. The dog. I picked Victor from yelp on gut instinct. I am a full time teacher and part time vet assistant. Most awesome and competent service ever. Period. Called later on a Friday evening, and a nice gentleman, Victor, answered my call. That's a first, first of all... I then advised him of the fact that my smoke detector was chirping (and I was dreading this eventuality--I'm sure all of you do also). Was dreading the death defying climb to change a 9 volt battery, and instead was delighted that Victor answered his phone! Did I say Friday night? Anyhow, he came the next day (Saturday!!!) and replaced all of my smoke detectors--like, all six of them. Smiling now. He was timely with his call, patient, organized and very knowledgeable. He gave me upfront information about possible reasons for the issues I was having (doorbell being out and dead sockets in the basement) and talked me through potential cost for each solution. He sent over an estimate while we were on the phone and offered a quick turnaround time for scheduling. His team called ahead and were extremely polite and courteous. They arrived wearing masks and brought with them booties and blankets to protect the floors while they were worked. They worked very quickly and communicated freely during their processes. When their work was completed, they walked me through what they had done, asked me if I had any questions and offered to take a look at any other potential issues we had. I have been using Victor for many years for great electrical work. I does quality work. He has put in recessed lights in my basement. Light and outlets in a closet I converted to a laundry room; put in a sub panel to separate and add more appliances etc. the house; put in outdoor lighting along a walkway; added a standing lamp to the backyard; added the proper outlet and connection to the electrical panel for a stand alone freezer.
