This review is for the lady Trang. I gave her 3+ months to make 3 pairs of pants made for me exactly like a model I gave her. I come in the day that we confirmed for me to pick it up, and once I arrived she said the pants weren't done. She could have called and informed me the morning of, but instead wasted my time coming down there just to be told she needed more time when 3+ months was more than enough. She told me she could have it done in one more day but I didn't want her to rush so I gave her one full week. The next week I come back on the day we confirmed that I would pick it up. Once AGAIN, she said the pants were not ready. I also asked again why she didn't call me that morning to inform me, and she said she didn't think I would come. Like why the fuck wouldn't I come to pick up my pants? Trang probably didn't even touch the pants the entire week and still expects me to wait another day when I needed it THAT DAY. Can not recommend. They are too busy, She is domineering. She thinks she knows knows what is needed before you state the requirement. I brought a baseball cap that had the Velcro adustable strap ripped off. Nothing was damaged. The Velcro strap simply needed to be sewn back on. It had a bumpcap too. She was not listening and despite my insistance refused the bumpcap. On pickup the Velcro strap was lost and the stub sewn that it was obviously too small for my head. She fixed my Enzoani bridal gown by taking it down 2 sizes, fixed the train, added a bustle, and also steamed the dress for us. It took about 3 weeks for the alterations, and 1 week to steam. She was super flexible with timing and extremely professional with how she did her work. Welp I'm writing this review right now as I'm sitting here for 15 mins waiting for them to dry clean my clothes after having my stuff for over a week. I've come here probably 5 times and originally really liked this place. I thought the Le, the lady owner, was sweet and charged a competitive price. I got a bridesmaid dress hemmed for $25 and the shoulder straps shortened for $12. I brought the dress back for dry cleaning for $15. Men shirts dry cleaned for $2.50. However, the past few times, they have gotten really bad at procrastinating. When I've come to pick up, my clothes haven't been ready as I see them scrambling around in the back. Not sure if they are just "tidying up" or just starting the cleaning process. One time, the last-minute dry cleaning left a stain on a shirt. I pointed it out immediately and they offered to re-dry clean. When I came back to pick up, the stain was still there, and they quickly took it back to try cleaning it (not sure if it was again or the first time). Although, all of the times they have messed up, they gave me a small discount. Parking is terrible and there are a few spots in front of the shops on the left side of the store. Cash only. read more

You'd think that buying something from a reputable online source at full price will be flawless but I wish I can say the same about http://shop.nhl.com/home/index.jsp because when I received my Logan Couture (#39) jersey, the 2 numbers in the front weren't fully stitched on. I went to a few games in spite of it but I knew enough was enough. I need to get it fixed and I needed to email the site to tell them that they suck. The outcome? I got my jersey stitched correctly here for just $6 and it took just a 2 day turnaround. The site refunded me back the shipping cost and 20% so my credit card will thank me. Great service here and it's extremely hard to find parking but you can't miss this spot because the sign is noticeable. When I returned Monday to pick it up, she remembered w/o me having to whip out my receipt. Awesome. Today is playoff game #1 against the Canucks. The first few times I went to this place I thought the lady was a little bit rude but then again maybe I thought she was just very focused, and business oriented. The prices were not the cheapest but not outrageous either. This last time I went in she charge me $20 to fix a tear in my coat which I thought was too high when I could've just sent it to Patagonia for free. However, I paid the $20 and a day later the zipper broke. I brought it back in and she tried to charge me another five dollars. When I told her why would I have to pay again when you were the one that replace the zipper she got angry at me and told me I didn't know how to use a zipper and that it was me! She explained to me three times how to use a zipper like I was a 5-year- old. She was visibly angry, frustrated, impatient, and annoyed. I've been taking my clothes to Eldo for a couple years. They've altered my dress pants, sports coat, a jacket, several button down dress shirts and shorts. On one occasion they even re-stitched my dog's harness. It's the same process each time I get an alteration. I'm greeted at the front counter and asked to change in a small dressing room. Once the clothes are on me I'm usual fitted by the same person. I believe she and her husband own the shop. Anyway, she always listens to how I want the garment fitted and takes the appropriate measurements. Depending on how many clothes they're altering, it could take anywhere from 2-3 days, up to a couple weeks. Pros: -They do a great job -They listen and take into account how you want your clothes altered -Reasonably priced -They'll correct any issues if you point them out to them at pick-up Cons: -They only accept cash -There's zero parking so expect to drive around until you find a spot -Shop is not in the best of neighborhoods read more

Parking really is difficult; even though I got into the Mexican store lot all three times I was there, it's a terrifying exit as you're backing out blind onto a busy street. At least Eldo was quick to see me, and carefully thought about the original cut of the dress to best tailor it. She looked really busy, but still did same day service for me! I dropped it off at 10:30 am and it was done by 5:30 pm. The fabric was really heavy and she took in four panels, so I'm really pleased with the work. $25 total. At first we were sketched out about the place but then relieved when the woman greeted us kindly and asked us politely how she may help us. I live in the downtown San Jose so I decided to take a chance and try this alterations place since it wasn't too far from my house. Big mistake! I brought in 5 brand new dress slacks that I bought for work and another pair of dress slacks about a year old. I told Lee that I wanted a hem on all slacks and that 4 of them I wanted a straight a leg tapered in so they can have slim look. It took 2 weeks before I can pick-up the dress slacks and then when I started wearing them to work and I notice the slacks were still too long and baggy and not the way Lee originally measure each for me since I tried each pair of slacks on for her. So since Lee was on vacation for about 2 weeks I had to wait before I could let her know that the tailoring was not done correctly. She was nice enough to offer to redo them again for free but she also try to say that I wanted the slacks tighter and shorter which doesn't make any sense at all since they didn't do tailoring right the first time around. 2 weeks later I finally able to pick up all 6 dress slacks back from Eldo's only to find out that 3 out of the 6 were tailored super tight. WTF. I'm so disappointed and lost tons of money and time on this. This bad experience has cost me out of my pocket $130 for the alteration service and I'm out $180 on the 3 super tight dress slacks which makes it a total of $310 out of my pocket so I'm pretty bummed out. Since i'm out $310 I figure I would share my experience and learn from this mistake. read more

I'm a bit worried about the quality of work here nowadays. My two most recent dresses tailored by the owner have been subpar. When she measures me, I feel like she does so lazily and without precision. By the time the dresses come back to me, my suspicions are confirmed as it never feels properly fitted. Just now, I paid $72 for a gown adjustment and additional $40 for dry cleaning. When I tried on her finished work, the top was way too lose. At first, she tried to tell me it will be fine if I wear a bigger bra. However, why would I want to do that? I want the dress to simply fit me. I had to persuade her to fix my dress. She did not put up a fight and did do adjustments for me on spot. I waited in store for about 20 minutes for her to finish. I tried it on again, and my heart sank. It was all a bit uneven and poorly finished. The seams were not smooth and had crooked bunching. I knew at this point that it would be a lost cause here. I really like the owner, personally, because she is a very nice lady. I didn't have the heart to criticize her on spot. I simply remained polite and paid her, regardless of my disappointment in the service. Another upsetting tidbit was that even though I paid for drycleaning, the front of the dress came back to me with more than a few creases and wrinkles. All in all, I think that I won't be coming back here. I'll have to find another tailor. It's very saddening. read more
