Happy hour menu
Nicole B.

Popped in after a rainy day and was excited to hear of their daily happy hour menu. Although a pretty short menu, the items were so flavorful and tasty. I landed on a house white vino and a shrimp pocket and it was soooo good. As a first timer, I would have loved to be able to order from the main menu as well, but our friendly waitress said the full menu isn't open at all. Inside was very cute and romantic-- perfect for girl dinner or date night for sure!

Triple mezze dip platter

Upscale Mediterranean restaurant with tasty food that is great for an evening out with friends! I recommend the triple meze platter with the eggplant and beet muhammara. The hummus is okay and I was not a fan of the labneh or feta. The chicken harissa skewer within a bed of greans or bed of is pretty good. The garlic shrimp and adana kebab are also very good. Service was okay and good for a large group. I wish my water was refilled without me having to ask for it multiple times.

When we arrived they said they were understaffed yet they had enough time to check on us constantly . This place is super cute inside and out. We sat outside and it was comfortable. There were a few gnat flying around but not enough for it to be annoying . We got a sampler of hummus , egg plant , and the feta. All so delicious and they'll replace the bread if you run out . We both got smash burgers I got mine without tomatoes and onions but so good. It had a char states which I don't mind but definitely want to make them myself . Definitely a great spot to enjoy family style food Jetta's fresh.

Lamb from the Pixie Fix 10/10- hummus and couscous

ELA is in the Virginia Highlands- they offer a decent amount of parking. I made a reservation through Open Table to meet with a friend for Galentines. The restaurant offers patio, main area and bar seating. I loved the fact that my table was ready on time and the staff were all super helpful. Our server, Megan was sweet. She kindly recommended several items to us and we decide to share the pixie fixe at $68. It came with a starter, a main course and dessert. We both loved Brussel sprouts so we had to try those as well. I tried a Greek and a Spanish wine. They offer a full bar and cocktails. The ambience was so intimate. The lights are dim and the music selection definitely elevated the vibe. Let's talk food: the Brussel Sprouts were my favorite. If you love Brussels, I highly recommend you try these out. The flavors were OUT OF THIS WORLD! The pixie fixe was a great recommendation from our sever. The serving size was great because it felt like we were having tapas. The lamb was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the hummus underneath. They paired well together. My friend raved about the chocolate olive oil cake. We split the bill and with tip it was $93 each. I thought it was fair. I will say the platform they use for billing charges the customer 1.99$ for the platform and I'm just not a huge fan of pushing that on the customer. FINAL VERDICT: this is definitely a must try option. I can't stress enough that the food was delicious. Everything seemed intentional and fit well together. The service was great but not overbearing. 5 stars! Can't wait to come back

*First Timer** my daughter brought me to this wonderful restaurant for Father's Day. What a delightful place. Open and airy with a very simple menu. Tasty food. I had the lamb smashed burger with fries. Portions were generous and conversation was outstanding. Our server was new, but she did a fantastic job. What was a nice surprise, was there was parking in the back. Come check this place out. Will definitely be back.

Ela was one of my favorite meals in recent memory. It was our first time here so we decided to share a variety of dishes - the mezze board ($21), cauliflower falafel ($8), spinach and feta hot pocket ($7), mushroom shawarma skewer ($14), and harissa chicken skewer ($14) with the fork and knife side ($7, included couscous with dried fruit, mint, and feta cheese). Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. My husband appreciated the variety of standout vegetarian dishes, especially the cauliflower falafel, which he said is probably the best he has ever had. The restaurant was perfect for a date night, group get-together, or a family outing - nice but still casual. Our server was friendly and personable. Ela also has a parking lot, which I can always appreciate in Atlanta, but also plenty of nearby street parking too. With one visit, Ela is somewhere in the top five of our favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area and I can't wait to return.

I wish I lived in Atlanta because Ela is exactly the kind of restaurant I'd want to keep coming back to. Everything was spot‑on, from the ambiance and service to the cocktails and thoughtful menu. We started with the halloumi butternut squash salad, which was beautifully balanced with a sweet dressing and crunchy quinoa. For my entrée, I had the duck confit, and it was absolute perfection. The pairing with parsnip, beets, and pomegranates made every bite feel special. As a parent, I really appreciated that they offer a kids' menu. My kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets with parmesan fries. Ela is the kind of place that gets everything right, and I'd happily return again and again.

55$ skewer of lamb and grains (the food poisoning culprit)
Natalie R.

I got he worst food poisoning i think a person could get. Ngl the atmosphere is nice but the menu was too gentrified and the portions were SO SMALL and SO EXPENSIVE I paid 55$ for one skewer of lamb over grain and a drink. Soooo overpriced. The next morning I felt a tightness in my stomach. I knewwww the 1 skewer of lamb looked undercooked when I cut into it but I trusted them. I proceeded to barf for the entire day and I have never felt more sick. Couch-bound with the barf bucket. So humbling. Trust your gut when looking at the meat if you go bc my gut is shiddin and barfin.

I reeeeeeally wanted to like this place. It's so cute, so elegant. A GREAT vibe. But unfortunately I don't see myself coming g back here. The drinks were great, don't get me wrong. The house special espresso martini was perfection. But all good items were sub par other than the mussels maybe. There was a lot of rave about the fries but that was a let down. Dry. Over Fried. The watermelon appetizer seriously just tasted like watermelon no flavor. The lamb plate looked good but I hadn't tried it cuz I don't eat lamb. Our server was nice enough to accommodate our many requests on dietary restrictions so that was nice. Might come back just for the vibe but that's about it.

Service was really bad. Two stars off for service!!! Inattentive, slow... I mean just all of the above when it comes to dropping the ball on service Food was decent , but portions are small!

Ela is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you accidentally walked into the "it" place without even trying. The patio glows with string lights, the bar hums with energy, and inside feels like the entire city had the same brilliant idea at once. It's Mediterranean with Atlanta swagger, polished but still chill enough to laugh too loud. The mezze board? Pure perfection. 5/5. I'm convinced they sprinkled crack in that labneh because I could not stop dipping. The smoked eggplant, pickled sides, and fluffy laffa basically had me in a trance. If I ever disappear, check Ela's kitchen first. Moroccan hot chicken was another 5/5. This is what happens when Nashville heat takes a semester abroad in Morocco and comes back cultured. Crispy, spiced to perfection, and somehow hotter than my ex's temper. Chermoula mussels, though, were the sad trombone of the night. Shrunken, overcooked, and tasting like they'd seen better days. 1/5. These mussels need therapy and maybe a gym membership. The local greens? Shockingly fire. A 5/5 plate of charred greens that somehow managed to taste smoky, crunchy, and fresh all at once. Who knew vegetables could flirt like that. Now the Vespa Martini. Props for creativity, swapping the olive for a giant Campari tomato. It's bold, it's Instagrammable, but it's also like drinking pure alcohol with a cherry tomato staring at you. 3/5. Respect for the risk, but I'll stick to olives if I'm trying to survive more than two. Service tied it all together. Bartenders had precision but still joked with us, food rolled out without a hitch, and the whole night felt effortless. Ela nails the vibe. It's the kind of place where you can have a night of small plate victories, laugh at the one flop, and still walk out feeling like you just scored big. Atlanta has a lot of spots, but Ela is one worth bragging about.

What a great night to fellowship and enjoy some amazing food and drinks. Ela is located on North Highland, close to everything. I orded the Vespa Martini- four pillars olive leaf gin, st. george vodka, cocchi americano $16 very good! We ordered the ELA'S HUMMUS TRIO 15 crisp chickpea and sumac chermoula and mushroom grape tapenade and spiced nuts! 10/10 the mushroom one was out of sight! Have to get that again. For my meal, I ordered the BLACK PEPPER LAMB grilled sirloin, greek herbs $18 paired with the FORK AND KNIFE-couscous, chili, dried fruit, mint, feta $7. While enjoying my meal, I ordered another cocktail, this time the PEACH FREEZE- chablis, lawn dart vodka, crème de peche, lemon, lavender $14. Ok ok ok the dessert was ok but not the best! I wanted baklava but they didnt have it. So I settled for the cinnamon doughnut holes. They were celebrating me most of the night! Lol thanks Ela! More pictures to follow. Thanks Ela! Oh parking was on the sid eof the building at no cost.

Harissa Chicken Skewer on Fork and Knife
Tanni D.

I'd heard a lot of great things about Ela, so when my friend and I were craving Mediterranean food, we decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a warm, cozy atmosphere that immediately made us feel welcome. Service was efficient, and our food arrived fairly quickly after we ordered. We both opted for dishes from the Char-Grilled Skewer section of the menu. My friend went with the Chili-Garlic Shrimp with Greens ($25), which came with roasted pepper, fennel, and feta. I chose the Harissa Chicken ($21), served over a bed of couscous with dried fruit, mint, and feta. The Harissa Chicken was tender and well-seasoned, but I was surprised it wasn't spicy at all, especially since harissa typically brings a bit of heat. The Chili-Garlic Shrimp was also well-cooked and nicely balanced, with a fresh combination of flavors from the greens and roasted vegetables. While both entrees tasted fresh, we didn't feel they justified the price. The portions were moderate and leaned more toward a "clean eating" style, which is great if that's what you're looking for, but we left feeling the value didn't quite match the cost. Overall, Ela serves quality ingredients. It's a nice choice if you're in the mood for a lighter Mediterranean meal in a beautiful setting.

Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! There probably isn't a bar in the city that offers as breathtaking of a view as does Moonlight. The panorama of all three of Atlanta's skyscraper centers is clearly visible, along with the historical architecture of Ponce City Market. The crowd is mix of tourists and locals in their 20s and 30s. The cocktails are solid. Food is decent, nothing to rave about, but again, hopefully nobody is here for the food. The lobster roll was very bread heavy and the useless dab of caviar was just a wasteful decoration. Having dined at Elektra already this weekend, we wanted to try something different. Hostess started with some type of unposted dress coded nonsense because my son was in a hoodie (which he agreed to remove) before we were granted access. Arrive inside and it's standing room only at the bar - all seating areas are clearly designed for large groups and they're all occupied, as were the handful of actual seats at the bar. Proceed to order numerous dishes from the menu to-go. Bar tenders, in fairness, were very pleasant btw. Nowhere to wait except standing there like idiots until bartender says we can sit in a reserved section for a bit. Nasty waitress comes by soon after to usher us away, despite conflicting instructions from the bar. Anyway, insult to injury when it appears I've been charged a service charge and a gratuity charge and the dishes were small and mostly not great. The wings were ok, but the grilled cheese was gross, the flatbread was minuscule, the cheese plate was meh. Overall, between the mostly rude to indifferent staff attitude, lack of seating, and poor quality of food this place deserves a pass. ,

The food and drink were solid, and service was excellent. I recommend this place. For details, keep reading. This restaurant opened in October 2015 and has been listed in the Atlanta Michelin Guide since its inaugural edition in 2023. Since the restaurant's opening over 10 years ago, it's become a popular favorite among our friends and acquaintances. We've heard it's also a favorite among food service industry workers in Atlanta. Ticonderoga Club is located inside Krog Street Market. You can enter the restaurant from inside or outside the building. Paid parking is available on site or you can street park for free in the residential area just east of the market. This area of Inman Park and Old Fourth Ward has gotten busier over the past decade; luckily, Dixie Ave NE still hasn't let me down. This is a hip, casual restaurant and bar that describes itself as "a modern American tavern." The bar is known for its cocktails and the cuisine is a mishmash of global influences, as you'll kind of see below. Here's what we had: BEVERAGE Non-Alcoholic * Saline Sibling ($8) - Ginger, lime, hibiscus, tonic, salt * The Ticonderoga Cup ($16) - aged rum, cognac, cream sherry, pineapple, lemon, mint Signature * Nerve Pill ($16) - London dry gin, blanc vermouth, fino sherry, olive DINNER Apps * Green Salad ($12) - local lettuces, radish, shaved Parm, toasted pepitas, sherry-Dijon vinaigrette, herbs * Veal Sweetbreads ($20) - spiced yogurt, rhubarb chutney, crispy shallot, TC masala Mains * Poh's Eggplant ($28) - jasmine rice, Thai basil, mint, Thai chilis, toasted coconut, Bali sauce * Tavern Chicken ($36) - butternut risotto, citrus brown butter, spiced walnuts Table Sides * Roasted Fall Squash ($10) - pepitas, feta, herbs * Wok Veg ($10) - "Any season - Any reason - Wok hei" - edamame Dessert * Key Lime-Fromage Blanc Tart ($12) - sweetened cream, toasted coconut, lime salt In general, everything was delicious. My wife really liked her non-alcoholic Saline Sibling. She said it was refreshing. I liked both of the cocktails that I got. The cognac flavor/scent was strong in the Ticonderoga Cup. The standout dish was the Veal Sweetbreads. Five stars. The Green Salad was also quite good (we love salads). I liked Poh's Eggplant more than my wife whereas she liked the Wok Veg (edamame) more than me. I thought the edamame was too salty. Same for the Key Lime-Fromage Blanc Tart, but to a lesser extent. I gobbled up the Tavern Chicken and Roasted Fall Squash. Dishes like Poh's Eggplant and Tavern Chicken are apparently mainstays on a menu that changes daily. If I recall correctly, the Tavern Chicken is a dish that recently returned to the menu. Everything was presented beautifully. I like the skull-theming, decor, and details here. It's fun and different. Erin K was our server. She was terrific. Friendly and attentive. I used Resy to book our reservation and inKind to pay. Ticonderoga Club is eligible for American Express Global Dining Access benefits and Amex Platinum $100 in statement credits per quarter. I found out about inKind on the restaurant's website. I got $30 off since the visit was $100 or more. I also earned $32.58 in "inKind cash back" to spend at eligible restaurants. inKind reminds me of Seated.
