First of all, I wanna start by saying this was my first time trying El Torito's Sunday brunch and our server. Laura was amazing. Five star customer service very tentative very knowledgeable of the menu also suggested drink items and other items to us 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend a family and friends. I definitely will return. The ambience was cool. We were sitting next to another couple that were very friendly and also suggested menu item school overall experience was 10 out of 10.

We had such a great experience at El Torito, and Sofia was a huge part of making our brunch so enjoyable! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. She brought such a fun, upbeat energy to the atmosphere and made the whole experience even better. The food was delicious, too! Honestly, I would come back just for Sofia and her amazing service. She really went above and beyond and made our brunch memorable. Thank you, Sofia, for making our experience so wonderful!

We're regular El Torito brunch guests, so this visit was disappointing. There was a 25-minute wait despite several open tables when we arrived. The omelet station was unattended for a period of time, and the waffle syrups were nearly empty. Overall, the food quality did not match what we've experienced at other locations. Our server was really friendly but not very attentive, and we had to flag her down when we needed assistance. It also appeared the staff member bussing and maintaining multiple areas was overwhelmed. At $39.50 per person, we expected a more organized and attentive experience. We're hoping this was just an off day.

The service was awesome. Our server Irma was attentive, and friendly. I will definitely come back. Thanks for the love, food and service Irma and El Torito. My belly is satisfied.

I've been here for brunch a few times and I can say I've always had a wonderful time. The food and drinks are great but the real star of the show is the staff. My waitress Laura was PHENOMENAL, kept my champagne glass full at all times. Nice, attentive and best of all FUN. I'd come back just to sit in her section. #sundayfunday

Sunday brunch! Such a good Mexican buffet. Fresh tortillas being made right in front of you, amazing taco meats, and everything tasted so fresh. The waffles and churros were hot and delicious, and the mimosas kept coming with a carafe of juice. Service was so attentive and the restaurant is beautiful! Great price, great food, great vibes! Definitely coming back!

Hector always comes thru! The service was immaculate, the food was great, and the drinks were on point. We always love coming here Sundays but just make sure you come before 12. Beat the rush and enjoy the time spent, el torito was a blast!

Not bad... Also, nothing mind-blowing. The food was very mediocre and bland. I remember El Torito being great in the past. It's definitely changed. The food was bland, and the beans were overly salty. The beans were gross lol The enchiladas were alright. Nothing to rave about though, sadly. I got the cheese enchiladas, and my husband got the shrimp enchiladas. The enchiladas were bland. The rice was maybe from the day before. Not fresh by any means. The service was good. They were friendly and very sweet. Our waiter went out of his way to surprise my friend with a dessert for her birthday. That was very kind. My friend loved it! We sang happy birthday to her. It was a good time. Service was 10/10 I just wish the food was better. I used to love El Torito. It could have been an off day for the rice and beans, and the enchiladas lol

I absolutely love these lights

It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. Our waitress was very polite and attentive (I'm pretty sure she was the owner). The inside is really pretty nice too. There is a small row of 2 person booths against the inside wall that would feel sort of claustrophobic if you sat there because it's super close to the wall, but the rest of the seating is spacious. The food: We ordered all appetizers because we couldn't decide on an entree. Fresno Dynamite chicken - delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy that if you poked it with a fork to pick up, it would just fall apart. Had a really nice crunch despite being covered in the dynamite sauce. There was also a perfect breading to chicken ratio, balanced evenly. The flavors were great. Nice mixture of creamy, a little spicy, sweet, and tangy. Ahi Poke Tostadas - I don't like fish, but my girlfriend got these and she said they were some of the best ahi poke she's ever had. She made me try a bite even though I don't like the fish, but I can tell you that the other flavors were a perfect blend of spices as well. Nothing overpowering and everything well balanced. Carnitas tacos - again, fantastic. I feel like the tortillas were homemade because they were so soft and fresh tasting. The carnitas was tender and juicy, not dry like some places tend to do. The coleslaw added a nice crunch. The pickled onions added a nice little zing while the cheese rounded it off. I never had micro cilantro before, but I love it now. The cilantro cream sauce wasn't overdone. Overall a really amazing carnitas taco. Southwestern Caesar Salad - the romaine was fresh and crispy, the dressing was a perfect blend of smoky and creamy cilantro flavor, and then you add the crispy tortilla strips, cotija and the little marinated tomatoes. This was a delicious take on a classic Caesar salad. Oh! I almost forgot the little pepitas in the salad too. Nice little touch. Everything was so good that I don't have one bad thing to say. Not even a "mehhh" comment. All of the food was masterfully prepared and all of the flavors in each dish complemented each other so well. I'm not sure there's anything you can order here that would disappoint you. I will return and I will continue to try new things (which I'm sure will be difficult because it's all delicious).

When Tara and I were dating one of her favorite things to do was grab a meal at IHOP. Breakfasts,…read morelate night dinners, post-film treats--all were susceptible to being done at IHOP. It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.

My eggs and corned beef hash was good and exactly what I expected. Not disappointment there. Biscuit and gravy, biscuit was nice and fluffy, gravy was good but could have used a little more salt. 1 STAR -- BUG IN MY FOOD, DISMISSIVE STAFF, DISRESPECTFUL OWNER, AND DISTURBING COMMENTS ABOUT EBT…read moreCUSTOMERS I visited GoodFellas Cafe today, and this was hands down one of the most appalling dining experiences I've ever had. What happened at this establishment raises serious concerns about food quality, customer service, and, most importantly, the attitude of the person running the business. During our meal, I discovered what appeared to be a bug in my food. Naturally, I brought this to our waitress's attention, expecting some concern, an apology, or at least an effort to address the situation. Instead, the waitress responded with absolutely no empathy or concern. She simply stated that she had no control over the situation and would get the owner. Her tone and demeanor were completely dismissive, as though finding a possible insect in a customer's meal was nothing worth being concerned about. Unfortunately, things only got worse when the owner arrived. Rather than acknowledging our concern or making any meaningful attempt to resolve the situation, the owner insisted it wasn't a bug and told us that if we didn't like it, we could leave. But what he said next was even more disturbing. The owner proceeded to tell us that he wasn't there for "give outs" and made comments about not accepting EBT customers for this very reason. Let me be perfectly clear: We never presented an EBT card, never mentioned government assistance, and never asked for free food or money. We were paying customers who simply brought a legitimate food-quality concern to the restaurant's attention. Why would an owner immediately associate a customer complaint with EBT recipients or people looking for handouts? The assumptions and apparent prejudice behind those remarks were astonishing. What should have been a simple opportunity to address a food complaint turned into an unnecessarily hostile and degrading encounter. And that's what makes this experience so troubling. Finding what appeared to be a bug in my food was concerning enough. But watching both an employee and the owner demonstrate such a complete lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism was arguably worse. Restaurants make mistakes. Food preparation isn't perfect. But customers should be able to raise concerns without being dismissed, insulted, or subjected to inappropriate assumptions about their financial circumstances. The owner sets the standard for the entire establishment, and based on what I experienced today, that standard is deeply disappointing. I genuinely question how an establishment can expect to maintain the public's trust when a food-quality complaint is handled with this level of hostility and disregard. I encourage prospective customers to consider this experience before choosing to dine here. No customer should have to tolerate this kind of treatment simply for questioning what was served on their plate. I will never return to GoodFellas Cafe, and based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
