Don't order delivery. My order is almost always missing something. As in a 60-80% chance (5+ orders) But then if you come to pick up an order, they lose it and don't start it until you get here (has happened 2 of the 2 times I came to pick up an order). Normally go to the location in round rock for my son who likes the rice. There I get a family size rice for $4.25. Here the young lady at the drive thru seemed absolutely clueless what I was talking about. I had to double check they were affiliated with the location in round rock which she assured me. So we place a super simple order, family size rice, chips and queso. She hands us the receipt and it says 1 pound of rice $6.95. So I'm like whoa we're going to get so much rice. They come outside with a smaller container than were use to and it's not even filled up all the way. Plus their queso tasted super off to me, so that was another $7.00 down the drain. At least the chips were warm. Definitely won't be coming back to this location if they can't even get the basics right, also why have a drive thru but no prices listed anywhere. Tonight was the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. Ever. We had to ask other servers and the busser to get our waitress on 3 occasions. Amazing breakfast tacos but terrible customer service. I've been going here for years back when they were attached to the gas station in a much smaller building. The breakfast tacos are really on point and I love them to death. But I cannot stand the arrogant attitudes and lack of customer service. They always seem to make it hard for people to do business with them. Long wait times, lack of acknowledging waiting customers, phones always off the hook. I do not understand this. With a better owner/manager this place could be really successful and well known for its food and service. Why does someone own this company and not care about their customer experience? The reviews are all saying the same thing and I'm writing this review so hopefully the owners will get the point across and make some changes. Fabulous little place with delicious Al pastor and the tastiest margaritas we've been able to find in the Pflugerville area. The staff there is so incredibly nice and do their very best to provide speedy service but honestly, as long as we've got a great margarita in hand and plenty of chips with homemade salsa that keeps coming, we're all good. The service is hit or mess along with the food after they opened up this location. It was fabulous when they were in the gas station but for some reason when they transitioned to a real restaurant they had struggles keep being a full-time chef which is why they weren't open for a dinner for the longest and the food quality was inconsistent. When we went here for breakfast the food was really bland it was cold the servers were really awkward and didn't really want to help us so my husband went back a week ago and he said that it was a little better but still disappointing over him hopefully they can get their act together and we will be back in a few months read more

Horrible, just horrible... food is average at best. What made the experience horrible was the charges. Was unable to split the bill of a party of 6 which is understandable, but bill was almost $200 after paying and refused to provide a receipt when we asked for it. After seeing reviews I see it has happened before and they charge insane gratuity charges as well over 20% on the back end and refuse to provide receipts so you can still tip them. Crazy awesome tacos. The chicaquiles were amazing. If I had to find a negative it was the side potatoes. They were cut into tiny blocks so they didn't stay warm but for a moment. The decor is so swanky and modern. The menu was simple and had a diverse selection. I appreciated the specialty tacos having the best of the classics like chicharron and chilaquiles. I ordered the mini tostados and the presentation and the quality of the ingredients were top notch. Crunchy, fresh cheese and veggies topped with the option of 3 salsas. I've been wanting to try El Taquito for a while. My mom and I were out around town today, so thought we'd have lunch here. I wasn't sure at first about it. The menu is different than most Mexican restaurants. The manager or owner, not sure, was very helpful in helping us with our order. My mom wanted ground beef enchiladas with mild sauce, and I got my usual cheese enchiladas with Verde sauce. Both came with rice and beans. We both were pleasantly surprised. Very good flavor without being too spicy. Loved the rice and beans as well. The atmosphere is not typical of a Mexican restaurant, although, they have several pieces of Freida art on the walls, and is nice and cozy. They have a full bar as well. Small patio too. So today was the first time I tried the El Taquito off of the Toll-130. I have some mixed feelings about this place. First of all, the food was great. I don't have any complaints about the food. The queso was great, the Migas plate was great, my daughter enjoyed the pancakes, and the Huevos plate was good. Food aside, the place needs a lot more work on the processes, organization, and facility. Especially, since this place has been open apparently for a couple of months already. First of all, when walking up to the entrance, there is what I believe is supposed to be a fountain. I have never really seen a fountain this dangerous. It's not even filled with water or anything... it's a big rectangular hole that's 10 feet deep and 2 feet wide... with 3 kids running on the rim of it thinking they are having fun. To avoid a very nasty situation, this fountain needs to be filled with rocks, water, or just plain covered up and needs to be done now. Outside of the danger of the deep hole out in front, this place needs a lot of organizational work. First, there is no kids menu. They need a kids menu... with chicken tenders and fries, hamburger and fries, and Mac and cheese, etc. The only thing they have close is a pancake stack. Water... they need water ready to go instead of taking the glasses to the back and bringing them back full. They need water pitchers going around the restaurant. There is so much unnecessary movement around the restaurant just for refills and it takes so long to get water refills that you have to go to the bar yourself to get a refill. Chairs... I like what this place is trying to do. The place is hip hop and they are really trying to go for the modern beach house look. I dig it. But the chairs all have to go... Those chairs are so small and are only built for people that weigh only 100 pounds. You can't sit in them because the bars on the chairs dig into your butt and back. Seriously, the chairs sitting surface are only one foot by one foot. You can't go cheap with the chairs. Replace them. Bussing... You have to keep on top of removing the used and empty plates off the tables. This place serves every little thing on big plates. A few minutes go by and the table is literally packed with empty plates. And this was a table with only three people... and the table is apparently built for six if going by those tiny chairs mentioned above. Wait staff need to be a little more cognizant about what's going on with their tables. Like the above example about getting water... they went by our table at least four times when we had empty glasses sitting at the edge of the table and nada. Don't serve kids full adult glasses of drink. They will drop those glasses and you will have lots of broken shards of glass soon. Serve kid drinks in plastic cups with lids. I know some is a little petty... but for a place that is only open until 3pm... things need to improve a little. read more
