We ordered the Muffaletta Sandwich, which was very tasty. We also got a croissant and oatmeal cookie. Both were giant, fresh and delicious. They do not serve espressos but their coffee is very good. They do have cream and a couple of different Torani syrups if you would like some flavoring. We will definitely make this a regular stop as we pass through Independence monthly on our way back and forth to Bridgeport. There is street parking, some tables inside and out and restrooms inside the restaurant behind the counter. I will update this review when we have their breads, pies and other sandwiches. TOP. TIER. COFFEE…read more My family and I were making our way to Mammoth Lakes and made a pit stop for some caffeine. This cafe is ~5 min drive or ~10 min walk from Erick Schat's Bakkerÿ. Parking was fairly easy, located in the back of their shop. Upon entry, you see an array of items ranging from stickers, postcards, their merch, and their coffee beans. There was no wait & the baristas were polite when taking our orders, they had ample seating inside and outside, and there's a restroom adjacent to the building but you need to ask for the key. This place was so good that we stopped by twice, on our way to Mammoth Lakes and before we made our way back home. Both times we ordered iced lattes with their house made syrups and milk alternatives (Total for 4 larges w/ milk alternatives & syrup add-ons: ~$27) and we took home 2 of their bags of beans. They had food options as well, but we didn't take a look at them. Very sad that we live so far away, but good for my wallet or else it would've been empty from daily visits.
