Upon arriving it sets the mood entirely with great fun appropriate decor and a prompt happy welcome. Staff Makes us feel they are glad we came-What a cool place! We settle on the brisket, baby back ribs, potato salad and beans with brisket. Can I tell you EvErYtHiNg was spot on!! And we plan accordingly to try their famous 12 hour smoked Flan dessert!! 1. Smoked Brisket- moist, perfect flavor, hearty portion, tender and high quality meat. Comes with great sauce, which I didn't use since it was so perfect as is. 2. Smoked Baby Back Ribs- Another hit with healthy portion, great flavor, and super meaty. Honestly, just hard to stop eating it! 3. Baked Beans with Brisket- A true meal unto itself! I could've stopped here! Tons of brisket ground into the beans, almost like the best "chili" ever. Flavor is sophisticated smokiness, not the usual sugary sweet restaurant rendition. Yay! 4. Potato salad is FIRE! Fresh perfectly cooked tender white potatoes, cooked carrots & peas add just enough interest and a magical a touch of mayo. Yes please. 5. 12 hour smoked Flan-STAR * of the show, the flan of my dreams! Staff insisted this flan is all that and they are correct! It's LEGIT. We left with a doggie bag, so worth it. Price was for real, you pay for quality. $74, but we brought plenty home. You could get by with a meal for two around $50-60, if you need. Check out their Later week Happy hour sand weekly specials as well as brunch & breakfast. It's all good here! Thanks for following me-happy spring 2026! ~Tami in Miami

We were greeted by the very personable Brayddy, who helped us pick out our dinner items. We were tired after being at a local pumpkin patch all day in the heat and just wanted to get home and not cook. So we did a take-out this time. It was very well packed and arrived in great shape. Brayddy outdid herself. Both ladies were very nice and helpful. We ordered and shared the very tender and well seasoned Brisket, which practically melted in my mouth. It was really good! We also got the half rack Baby Rib back...wow, it just fell off the bone and was so delicious!! Very good! The cornbread was amazing, especially with the sauce we were given to pour over it. I have no words. As a side dish for the meat, we got the Truffle Mac n Cheese, which was outstanding. Everything was great!! Last but not least, we unfortunately were disappointed in the Smoked Flan. It had no flavor, how could that be when the other items were so delicious? We each took a bite but couldn't continue, We have had flan before but this had a strange taste, I'm sorry to say. Things happen. We will still be back to enjoy the ambiance, great service, good music, and very nice staff. Kudos to the chef! Parking is in front of the restaurant and has wheelchair accessability. They also share space with Empanada Harry's Bakery. I want some good guava pastries next time!

One thing about me is I love to have BBQ fresh off the smoker, but I do like that this truck is well equipped to keep everything warm, soft, and juicy. We tried the ribs and they were BUSSIN. Soft and amazing. In my life, I've never had ribs that soft before. They were seriously incredible. The pork sausage, though, was a HIT for me. I'm a girl who loves sausage, any kind, and the way this was so juicy just hit a spot for me. Matter of fact, I'll stop cooking sausages at home and simply come buy them by the pound here. The pulled pork was good. It's my fault for putting Sweet Heat BBQ on it without trying it first because LORD JESUS. I don't know what I was thinking. I underestimated the heat, and usually I love it hot, but LORD. I think my bread absorbed all of it. So, tread lightly with the hot sauces. For me, next time I think playing with a regular BBQ sauce and adding little dashes of the heated sauces myself would be the move. BUT IF YOU LIKE CRAZY HEAT, THEY GOT IT. The mac was good. The beans were FIRE. Perfectly sweet, and they actually have protein in them, which I can't say for all BBQ bean spots. Overall, it's worth the money. The service is respectful, and honestly, I will be coming back. I'll be ordering less food next time because LORD, I bought too much, but I'll definitely be back for a fresh brisket straight off the smoker. I can't lie. All in all, they're great. I like BBQ that tastes like hard work. Frankly, I want some love put into my BBQ, not just something that was simply cooked, and here they definitely have that. Only a true master can get sausage the way they do it here. 10/10. All juicy, all good. I'll be back. I can't recommend enough that you need to pivot your Thursdays through Sundays and try this place, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S FRESH OFF THE SMOKER. Real BBQ isn't about the presentation. My car, my hair, and my clothes all smelled like I rolled around in a smoker, which is exactly what I want from my BBQ. P.S. My dogs were going crazy for my fingers and trying to jump on the counters to get a bite, so you know it's good because they're well trained.

Mission is a chain that has restaurants in many states. It pays tribute to those who serve our country: firefighters, police, first responders and the military. There are many photos on the wall of people in uniform, including a few movie posters, such as Tom Cruise in Top Gun, as well as badges of various military, police and firefighter branches. The first good sign for food quality is when we placed our order and was asked, if we want the brisket moist or lean. Different people like their brisket differently, no wrong answer there just preference, and I'm glad we are given a choice. The brisket is moist, as we like. the cornbread though was too dry, and the collard greens too salty. They offer six different sauces, and my fave is the Florida one with mango. While we were dining, a staff came by, and gave us two cards to welcome our first visit, with very generous offer to entice us to return. Wow, thank you! Though I have to say, even without the cards we will!

Per my usual attitude my first time somewhere, I wanted to try several items. The owner was super nice and gave multiple suggestions. I ended-up trying a really affordable wing special that comes with rice and beans, slaw, plantain chips and I added mac. I also added brisket, and that came with slaw. The green bean salad comes in one size as an add-on. Okay first, the owner is clearly magic, because there isn't a grill in sight. I had no intention of ordering wings, but these are seriously the best wings I've had anywhere, in a long time (100/10). The rice and beans (10/10), and the rice smelled like it came from abuelita's kitchen. The slaw, oh my goodness (100/10), so simple, and yet perfect! I thought the chips were unnecessary . . . NOT! These are delicious (10/10) and 100% belonged on my plate. The mac . . . well, you can't win 'em all. The brisket was good (9/10) and the sauce is mustard-based, just like I like it, but the star is what got me there, the green bean salad! This was a fresh, exciting dish that is like nothing you've ever had (1,000/10), I won't describe the ingredients here, because I think you should be surprised. I can't wait to go back. The staff treated us like family from the moment we walked in and made us feel right at home. I ordered the baby back ribs and brisket, and both were outstanding. The collard greens were hands down the best I've ever had, and the sweet potato soufflé was just as memorable. Even the Texas toast was incredible--I don't usually talk about bread, but this stuff was fire! The drinks were served in large cups, and the sweet tea was absolutely perfect. Dinner for two came to about $78, which might seem a little high at first, but quality barbecue isn't cheap, and every dollar was worth it. The portions were generous, everything was fresh, and this was easily one of the best barbecue meals I've had. We were so full we almost skipped dessert, but I'm glad we didn't. The homemade Key lime pie was the best we had during our entire trip to the Keys. Every table she assisted she referred to our table as being the problem where the tables would then be staring at us and our kids the whole time. She then went to the system to enter the orders and was pointing at us - She clearly was annoyed of having to serve a large group like ours and made the experience terrible despite the food.
