On my most recent trip to Tijuana with my friend, I was draw in by the ambiance and the ushering of the waitresses at this restaurant. Upon being seated, we felt welcomed by the waittresses' hospitality and was immediately brought over homemade chips and salsa. The salsa tasted really fresh and was just the right amount of spice for us. The chips were made to a perfect crisp and you can taste the quality of them.
After browsing the menu for a bit, we didn't know what to order so the waitress for our table suggesting getting some meat fajita style dish that had five different types of meats (don't recall the name of it). The dish was on a standing hot plate that was slowly heating the contents of meat and veggies on top of a candle flame. Sitting on top was a small bowl of cheese. There was also sides included such as rice, beans, guacamole, and tortillas.
When the meat fajita dish was served to us, our noses were immediately hit by its delicious smell of well-seasoned meats. We could see the juiciness of the meats and the inviting grill marks on the meats and veggies. We sampled the dish by itself at first to taste all the components separately before assembling it together with the sides and tortillas. The taste was something I have never experienced before! Everything was perfectly cooked to tenderness, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.
Despite how perfect everything was, there was just too much food for the 2 of us. We barely made a dent and I can say that this could have easily fed 4 people. The price was SOOOO good. We only paid about $20 USD for the WHOLE meal and our stomachs were full to the brim.
Overall, I would have to say that hands down, this is the best Mexican food I have tried thus far. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and definitely get the meat fajita dish I got. Show your waiter/waitress my attached picture, they should know what I got! read more
