The food is amazing, very authentic and the prices are great as well. The customer service and although it might be a bit of a wait for the food it's totally worth it. My favorite restaurant in Tijuana. We will definitely be back!.

Excelent restaurant steps away from the Hilton hotel. Chile's rellenos. My favorite. Good ambience. Fair prices.

I visited this niche restaurant only after it moved to the new location (adjacent to previous…read morelocation) in the Plaza Alameda town center type complex. I didn't have high expectations since I hadn't tasted this Mexican-Caribbean type cousine before. I left promising to return. The restaurant is on a second story area of the Plaza and shares the space with a mexican style seafood joint and a sushi place. They have elevators and it is wheelchair accessible. The decor is impressive and they even have a small shop that sells Yucatan region's clothes and souvenirs. A very talented older gentleman in a panama style hat was crooning old and new romantic songs and playing beautifully his guitar. We were greeted with an open door and allowed to chose our table. Drinks came quick and we set at deciphering the menu. Their Maya language menu items are a challenge for anyone to translate but a helpul description of the dish is printed in Spanish below. Like, I learned that poc is pork and featured in many dishes but I went for a fish entree recommended by the waiter instead. We also shared a grilled chicken salad. Our very good waiter suggested a grilled pargo fish fillet. It came wrapped in a banana leaf and was sauteed in a tomato onion salsa with shrimp and scallops. It was accompanied by fluffy spanish rice and a roasted tomatoes green salad. The chicken salad had thin slices of breast meat. tender and flavorful. The salad dressing was delicious too. Overall a great evening out and only cost about 20 per person including drinks and tip.

This is definitely a restaurant out of the ordinary. It is located in an outdated plaza, which will…read morecost you $5 pesos for the parking. When entering the restaurant, you are kindly greeted and notice a really unique, rustic decor. The music is really soothing, the type you are able to have a nice conversation without letting it disturbing you. The menu has a variety of plates which are unique to the southern region of Mexico, more specifically Yucatan. I personally tried the "empanadas de bola de queso" and "cochinita pibil". I finished it off with an anise liqueur called Xtabentún which was surprisingly smooth. Needless to say, everything was delicious.. If you are looking for traditional Mexican plates that are different from the typical tacos, burritos, tortas, etc... then this place is perfect for the occasion.

We enjoyed a chicken taco à la carte and a chicken taco plate. Plenty of free parking. CONS: No substitute for refried beans. Restaurant had a strong smell of cleaning agents. Fish tacos were only offered fried, not grilled. Helpful?

I went today with my husband and: FOOD 5/5 Chips and Salsa- their salsa always hits the spot and the chips are fresh and crunchy. Their vinegar soaked carrots are my favorite and I devour them quick. 5/5 - Ensalada de Avocado. I get it without chicken, tomatoes or onions and they LOAD up the avocado. It's such a comfort food for me that's usually my go/to. The tortilla is deep fried and tastes fresh. 5/5- CARNITAS- my husband thought it was great and full of flavor. His tortillas were fresh too. SERVICE 5/5- both female servers were helpful and attentive especially because we got some chicken soup to-go for our employee and they had it ready quick. I loved that they were dressed up as well for Halloween and went all out in their costumes. CLEANLINESS/ AMBIANCE 5/5 - This place always feels welcoming and clean. The tables are bussed quickly, you don't see food on the floor. SEATING inside had plenty of seating. Lots of booths, tables and even larger tables for groups. We saw a group of 9 people walk right in. They have a cute outside patio area that has PARKING plenty of parking since they share a lot with the other units.
