This shop is a complete disaster. Normally I like Einstein bagels. However, this shop has totally destroyed the company's reputation. I was in the drive-through an hour before the shop was due to close according to their published hours, behind another car. After accepting my order, they told me they were closed. This led to a little bit of consternation, but in the end they were able to fill my order. I almost left the drive-through, before I realized they had failed to give me the most important part of my order: the coffee! So yes, it was kind of chaotic, completely unprofessional. When I arrived home, I realized they had kept my credit card. They never gave it back to me, nor did they provide me with a receipt. When I called the shop they did not pick up the phone, there was no answering service, no way to leave a message. When I spoke to them the following morning, they had destroyed my credit card. Golly, thanks a lot you jerks! Complete unprofessional ineptitude. Total incompetence. I'm never going to Einstein's again! Good job guys. read more

When eating in the restaurant 1/2 to 2/3 of the restaurant is "closed" which simply means they've placed chairs in front of the section that is BEYOND dirty and can stay that way for hours. Even the sections open, half the tables are disgusting. When you order the food to go the vast majority of the time the order is wrong (75 to 80% at a time). Sandwiches and soup that are supposed to be warm are cold even when served in the restaurant. Components from the order or sandwiches are very frequently missing altogether. It is shocking that's all the other McAllister's in the region consistently serve quality food with accurate orders, but yet Nixa has consistently gotten worse overtime. Add to that rapidly rising prices with decreasing quality and it is a total embarrassment.
