Walked in and saw they carried Onyx coffee- and I was sold. I tried a delicious smoothie bowl, in addition to one of the bulgogi tacos. The meat was from Hawaii which I didn't expect from a coffee shop vibe. I came on a recommendation, and I will 100% come back for the friendly service + tasty food!

This place was okay. Overpriced in my opinion. Spend $7.40 for a large lavender latte with oat milk. Friend's smoothie was decent. Overall just okay. Nothing to write home about. But I guess I got coffee which isn't exactly their primary menu item.

3 tacos for $10 with a lettuce wrap, bulgogi, and pineapple sauce and juice( carrot, spring mix, and pineapple).

I don't know why this place doesn't have a higher rating or more stars. However, after reading some of the reviews it appears that it has been given more stars recently compared to the past few years which leads me to believe they listened to customers and they're better. I had traveled to Springfield for work with my boss and he had been feeding me fast food and heavy steakhouse meals. I'm not accustomed to having that much of a different diet in a small snippet of time. I was started feeling the yuckiness of when you've eaten too much food that you're not accustomed to aka for me.... unhealthy. Once my boss left town and I had to stay to complete work item I immediately searched for healthy places to eat and for some reason this place called out to me. Right after work I drove to The Press for some kind of healthy food cleansing to rid myself of yuck. I was not disappointed. I got some help from the employee working the front and ordered the Alice's Vegan Salad with fresh juice( carrots, beets, and spring mix). It was delicious and it hit the spot with flavor and made me feel less of the yucky feeling. I tried hard searching for another healthy place to for lunch the next day since I try to make it a habit to always try new things but everything felt wrong. So I came for lunch (less than 24hrs) and the helpful girl who took my order the previous night was working and was helpful when trying to coordinate what would go well with my meal. This time I ordered 3 tacos for $10 with a lettuce wrap, bulgogi, and pineapple sauce and juice( carrot, spring mix, and pineapple). I ordered my lunch to go and I consumed everything in literally less than 10minutes after sitting in my chair at work. I have a friend who has a lot of allergies such as gluten, dairy, tomatoes, etc and I told him when it comes to Springfield in less than 3weeks that he needs to come here because of yummy it is and he won't have an allergic reaction. Highly recommend this place for healthy and allergic safe alternative.

Gluten free customers, rejoice! They have a case full of gluten free sweets which is hard to find in Springfield! I have had the beauty bowl (I thought it would be hot, but it was cold, like a smoothie with granola, and some extra-also frozen-fruit on it) which was beautifully presented and tasty. My celiac disease daughter had an omelet, and suffered no ill effects. We stopped by one evening for take out, and my celiac disease hubby got a GF muffin (which made him so happy!) and the nourish bowl with chicken, and I had the burrito; both of which were good. Prices-may be a little on the high side, but we are pretty much used to higher prices when eating out due to what's available gluten free. Oh, the kombucha was delicious! Maybe we will try out the taco Tuesday specials next! I would recommend if you are GF not by choice or even by choice!

Excellent coffee! I was in town for a few days and went here pretty much daily. The service is slow, and I do wish they had more customizable smoothie options, but the food is very fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Such a cute coffee and juice bar on the south side of town! The Press Coffee & Juice Bar uses high-quality, organic ingredients in their food/coffee/juices. The atmosphere is clean, bright and modern. I arrived around noon to get a quick lunch and there were only two other people inside. The woman behind the counter was kind and efficient. I ended up ordering the Nourish Bowl. This consists of rice, quinoa, green mix, cucumber, carrot, kale, avocado, kimchi, spicy sauce, with an egg on top. It was presented well and was actually pretty good! I love bowls like this and this wasn't the best I've ever had but also not the worst! I will definitely be back to try the juice and a different vegetarian meal!

AMAZING!! I am allergic to gluten & try to avoid dairy, they are *very* accommodating and so kind about it , just make sure to mention it to them! Their korean-mexican street tacos are unlike *anything* I have ever tasted before (try them w/ their house-made kimchi!) by far my favorite. Nourish Bowl & Buddha Bowl are definitely worth trying if you're not into getting your hands a lil dirty Now onto the drinks... their cold brew is the best in town in my opinion. They use a traditional Taiwanese method called "yama," it takes 8hrs to brew and you can definitely tell. It's perfectly sweet & the flavor is very unique. All espresso drinks are superb & you can tell that the baristas know what they're doing (consistent taste, I've yet to receive anything with scorched milk). They have non-dairy alternatives (or locally sourced, old-fashioned cream line whole milk if that's your thing), great flavor options (e.g. lavender, local raw honey, rose, mojito mint). I go for an iced raw honey & lavender latte with oat milk during the summer, and a caramel creme brûlée latte (has ACTUAL hardened sugar on top!!) with almond milk during the winter months. They have healthier drinks like completely customizable made to order fresh pressed juices or pure fruit smoothies. I like to grab a smoothie with my taco order, or switch it up and grab a taco with my smoothie bowl order, haha. The Press is one of my main go to restaurants here in SGF (I'm talking 2+ times a week ). You HAVE to try it, you won't regret it, I promise.

    Misleading menu, see Buddha Bowl
    Robin M.

I ate at "The Press" today and honestly was very impressed with the food, however, I was overcharged drastically by the misleading wording on their menu. Specifically the Buddha Bowl which indicates that a protein and a sauce are included in the price. (Apparently they aren't) when I called to remedy this situation their manager said there was nothing he could do and when he escalated it to his boss they told him "well, they should have read THE ENTIRE menu. The menu is misleading and is false advertising as they are trying to nickel and dime unsuspecting patrons. This is absolutely not how you treat customers, but I guess this is probably why there were only 2 other tables during lunch time. I have included a picture of the menu where it clearly states that you can choose a protein and sauce, it is only stated on that specific item which would indicate no upcharge. Whoever "the boss" is is extremely rude. This isn't how you treat customers and expect to remain in business.

Formerly Cafe Bene in Farmer's Park, the interior hasn't changed nor the ownership. The interior is still pretty charming for a date or to do some work, although I despise the low chair heights. But I'm relatively tall at 5'7 and my heels make me around 5'10/5'11 but these Korean based chairs are so low for me!! Things to Note: 1) Been here several times and the service is slow if there are other customers (especially when they are making any type of meal). Sometimes, they are in the kitchen and no-one is at the front counter. So - the door needs to ring to notify them or else, it's like a waiting game if they hear it. The most annoying thing about this place if u are pressed for time. 2) Juice Bar/cold press except they don't juice the day of. I would asked when they juice their products b/c we all know that green juices lose their nutrients. 3) Smoothies made to order 4) COLLAGEN juice shots. This is honestly why I come here minus the wifi. And you heard me, they are liquid infused collagen shots. It's clearly an Asian secret and I would drink this everyday if I could. I have looked everywhere from New York to San Francisco, and Springfield, MO is the only place for collagen juice shots! 5) WIFI and outlets 6) Bathrooms are outside 7) Pricey for Juices ($10 and $5, pricer than Mama Jeans or Lucky's) 8) Coffee and longer hours than the local coffee shops 9) Discounts if you work in Farmer's Park 10) Lots of food options, but honestly stick with the healthy salads/bowls vs. the pre-made pastries 11) Green tea Matcha dessert balls! Love these. 12) Redbean and Charcoal Waffles Bottom-line, get an immunity juice for after the gym, to cure a hang-over, or a general non-caffeine pick me up. And if you are hungry - grab some healthy eats too!

When you're thinking about burgers, Black Sheep needs to be at the top of your list…read more Casually sitting in what looks like a shipping container off of Glenstone, Black Sheep ASAP is the perfect pit stop for a quick burger and shake while you're out. Despite the ruggedness of the shipping container exterior, the inside has a comfy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating with cartoons playing on tv downstairs and hockey upstairs. The service was fast and very friendly with very little wait time. I opted for the Light My Fire burger because I appreciate The Doors reference. Don't let the name or jalapeños fool you, it wasn't spicy but it was absolutely packed with flavor. Between the wagyu, peppers, cheese, and candied bacon this burger was spectacular! The fries are, well, fries. You have a choice of various aiolis to pick from. I chose the malt vinegar and my wife went for the garlic. In my opinion, they're better with hot spice or just ketchup but I didn't come here for the fries. We also got the Strawberry Fields and Oreo shakes. If you've ever had the cake shake from Chicago's Portillo's, you might like the Strawberry Fields shake that includes strawberry cake swimming in the strawberry shake. Definitely worth it! Overall, one of the better burgers I've had around the Springfield area, so if you're out for a quick burger that's a step up from the rest, head over to Black Sheep!
