I hadn't been to SocieTea in a while and had forgotten how much I loved this place! I took my mom for their Mother's Day bogo deal and we both got a coconut coffee. It was SO GOOD! She was so impressed by the vibes inside the bobo shop, she loved the huge plants. We were greeted quickly with a friendly smile and the drinks were made promptly. I am obsessed with their coconut coffee and will definitely be back soon! read more

My husband and I were at Farmers Park and we saw the signs for the new Cookie Butter and Pumpkin Spice series! We both liked the Pumpkin Spice milk tea a lot better as it was more balanced; the cookie butter was strong and rich. Overall, they were filling and we would come back to try more items. Cute decor and staff was friendly! read more

One of my first boba stops in Springfield, MO! Located in by the Farmers Markets of the Ozarks and walking distance from a nearby hotel, here is a cute spot to come and enjoy refreshing drinks and boba! Service was friendly and my drink prepared fast and tasted delicious. I imagine this would also be a great location to study or remote work in a clean and inspiring environment. Springfield is lucky to have such a place! read more

Out of all the boba cafes I've been to, SocieTea is just better especially their matchas. They're always nicely balanced. Service is great, very friendly even if I can't look directly at them cuz I get nervous. Ambiance is nice and cozy especially at night so studying, reading and drawing are done with comfort. read more

This is a new location for this five-year-old family run business. Located at Farmers Park they should get some good foot traffic on market days. I'm not sure how well they will do on non-market days, but I hope people figure out they are here! I love that I can adjust the sweetness of my Boba tea down to 25% sugar. I tried the Matcha latte with brown sugar Boba and it was delicious. Next time I will get it with salted cream cheese topping. I also purchased the cutest little Boba tea keychain, I love it! I gave 4 stars because they do not have popping Boba available and they do not offer ube tea, my favorite. read more

SocieTea - TR1. Taro Milk Tea - Bubble Tea Near Me - Springfield, Missouri

We had a quick boba stop before heading back to Kansas City and ordered the Strawberry Latte and Taro Milk Tea. I really appreciate that they have milk alternatives for us lactose intolerant folks. I liked that they used real strawberry purée in the latte, it was so fresh and tasty! We ordered the standard sweetness, I could have probably gone down to 75% but both drinks were still enjoyable! The matcha cheesecake was a bit misleading. It was mostly a vanilla cake with matcha cheesecake frosting maybe? Still good, but not what we wanted/expected. read more

Best BOBA shop in Springfield! Hi, I'm a Boba Tea Bae right here. Everywhere we go, we are looking for Boba!! Of course, we're passing through Springfield and I had to see if we could get some. We were so happy to find this place, cute serene spot with open windows, seating, and nice selection. Of course we each got what we wanted from matcha tea, strawberry mango, chocolate milk tea with boba... Love that you can choose your sugar level and ice level (it's a must nowadays!). The only thing is that there wasn't much snacks and we were needing midday snacks. There was only the chocolate roll cake left and so we decided to go with that. It was filled with a LOT of cream and the taste wasn't as bold as we were used to. This boba shop is cute and nice spot for writing and or reading for a little bit. Somewhat limited outlets for laptop or charging your phone, otherwise a nice atmosphere. read more

Love the drinks here, great flavor fruit teas! My favorite is definitely the apple honey green tea. I drive almost 2 hours for good boba tea, so it's a little bit disappointing when you pay for extra boba but get less than the regular amount. I'll probably be back when passing through the area but won't bother to pay more for extra boba again. read more

This boba location here has the best quality around the Springfield area. Their traditional tea brewing method brings out the full potential of the tea leaves. Strongly suggest this boba shop over the other ones. Service is great/fast. read more

Cute chic interior but the drinks were watered down with too much ice. $6 for "large" taro milk tea and $5 for medium jasmine milk tea. There was almost no difference between large and medium size. Service was fast. read more

Decided to stop in and finally try this place after getting recommendations from my nail tech at Pink & White, Jenny. I ordered a Thai tea thinking if they get this right then I know I can trust some of their other options available. Once I walked in and saw all the options I knew this place was legit! You can order all sorts of different flavor teas and coffee with different boba/jelly/ toppings as well as level of sweetness. The prices are pretty reasonable and there are also different cup sizes. I chose the smaller size cup without knowing I would love my drink and wish I had gotten a larger drink, nevertheless, I will be back for more! They also sell roll cake (vanilla, strawberry or chocolate but they run out pretty often and don't make it everyday) and I haven't had the pleasure to try it but I plan on it. read more

Poor customer service and distasteful drinks. Essentially paid $5 for a glass of milk with some boba pearls on the bottom. I ordered the "milk brown sugar boba" thinking there would be tea included in it also as the base of it but apparently it doesn't include tea. I've had brown sugar boba milk teas before and this just did not taste anything like what it's meant to taste like. I asked the young gentleman if I could have their earl grey tea added into my drink but he just said no, with no explanation. What can we take from this ? It would be helpful to have descriptions of each drink otherwise the names are misleading. Also, customer service could have been better and handled the situation better, offering to perfect the drink to the customers liking or simply allowing the customer to tweak the drink when they are willing to pay the difference of any additional requests to their drink. read more

Boba in Springfield, hell yea! Thai tea was good ill be back if i ever come across this part of the state again!

The clever name was what pulled me into the cute boba shop, but the boba drinks left my cravings unsatisfied. The ambiance was particularly pleasing - sparkling lights hung from the frosted windows and feel good quotes were plastered on the pastel walls. The Vietnamese man who took my order was perpetually smiling and our drinks came out relatively quickly from another happy employee. Societea Matcha Tea w/ black pearls: - matcha flavor was overwhelmed by saltiness of foam - boba was a nice consistency and perfectly sweet, but slightly slimy Wintermelon Black Tea w/o salt foam: - winter melon flavor was nearly nonexistent - black tea was brewed nicely - lightly iced without asking If you're looking for aesthetic photos and friendly staff, this is your place, but it may be paired with sub par boba. read more

I came in because I had about an hour to kill before meeting some friends. I know it's known for tea, but they had a few coffee drinks and I wanted to try one out. I got an iced salted cream coffee and it hit the spot for me! You can customize your drinks sweetness and the cream top is rich and tasty. I'm definitely planning to return and try more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Societea is my absolute favorite place to get boba. Great prices, delicious flavors, and always the best service. I always recommend my friends and family to check this place out. Seriously the staff is always so friendly and helpful with any questions. Plus the inside is decorated super cute- especially if you like plants! Cute place in the town of Springfield!! I drove through town on my way to Colorado and visited my best friend! She knows I love boba and took me here. One of (like 2?) boba shops in town. No judgement here. Every town will soon learn that boba is the greatest invention ever and they'll open more shops! Cute place, really. I'm glad they have an eye for what's appealing to the kids nowadays. I've had boba a lot in my life. Or in one week. It's insane. I love boba. Societea offers a decent about of flavors for their milk teas and fruit teas. You know what I love? THEY HAVE CRYSTAL BOBA. *applause* I got the oolong milk tea, half sugar with boba and crystal boba. The amount of sweetness was good enough for me. I'm not a huge critic but as long as I can taste the tea amongst the milk, I'll be good. And safe to say, I tasted hints of oolong. I'm glad Springfield has Societea. I hope they're able to introduce more people to boba! Also, they catered boba to my friends wedding so, that's pretty neat! read more
