A clean, modern ambiance and excellent people watching set this place apart, especially in a part of town not really known for either. Yes, the tea is excellent and the wifi is fast, but the real joy comes from all the creatively dressed young people who patronize this place on the regular. I have been a couple times and have enjoyed my drink (usually a classic milk tea), but I recently went and got their brown sugar milk boba. It was straight up milk with some brown sugar drizzled down the side of the cup. If you like milk, you'll be fine but I wasn't expecting this and was a little disappointed. I'd passed this shop several times and decided to stop in today. This place is by far the coolest cafe in Springfield. The decor is very chic and relaxing. Its nice and quiet and would make a perfect spot to study. The menu contains tons of different options and leaves lots of room for customization. They also have coffee options for those not as fond of tea. The tea is delicious! I had forgotten that Im not personally a fan of matcha and got one with it. It was still extremely good. The customer service is fantastic. You can really tell they put extra care into each and every one of their drinks. I love the design of this cafe. Our orders come very quickly and the bubble tea was tasty! I ordered the Black Milk tea with black pearl. I thought it was one of the best bubble tea in Springfield. Most of the Asian would come here to get the bubble tea since they miss bubble tea a lot. The tiramisu cake was ok. However, my friend told me that their roll cake was very good and I bet so too, since there was no rollcake at the cafe. Perhaps they had sold out the rollcake. read more

We come to Springfield now & then to visit family and were SO pleased to find this delightful boba spot! Lots of Bubble Tea in OKC, but not so much in these parts. The owners were charming and the shop is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our Oolong Milk Tea & Black Milk Tea with Boba! And speaking of the boba - it's kinda hit or miss at various shops we have visited as to the quality & texture of the pearls themselves and theirs was definitely a hit! Their boba is bomb! There is ample seating, good parking and reasonable prices. We didn't try the roll cake this visit but it looked tasty! read more

I had my first visit this weekend. For 3 months 've been missing out on this wonderful gem. Springfield has had a few boba tea places but it has finally graduated with SocieTea. Wonderful customer service and all 4 of us loved our drinks. It is authentic and almost minimalist. We had lunch plans so we didn't try the roll cake but it looked delicious. Great tea! Always get black milk tea with coffee jelly at tea places and theirs is really good! I'm so happy! You can ask them to adjust the sweetness too! There are only 2 sizes, medium and large. Friendly staff, and they have roll cakes as well. It's a nice place to sit and hang with friends, tho I wouldn't consider this a good spot to study. They also have tea with cheese cream topping, which sounds really interesting! I'll have to try one of these days when I come back. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for SocieTea for awhile- but finally here it is. I'm from a pretty big city, so in moving to Springfield I lost access to a lot of specific chains or local 'foreign' (any culture outside of "American") shops. I was really missing bubble tea stores. Stumbling upon SocieTea was a wonderful discovery . I'm a huge Thai tea drinker, and theirs is lovely. The employees are kind and will make suggestions if they're out of something or if you're on the fence. With inflation going up, societea stays reasonable with their prices. The ONLY downside in my mind is if you come when they open they will not have any boba ready until about 10:30am- so for times sake I've had to run to work with milk tea with no pearls- which isn't a huge bummer for me since Thai tea is often served without boba anyways ‍. My friends order different things off the menu that I've gotten to sample, and there hasn't been anything I haven't liked. Anywho- I definitely would recommend SocieTea. At least for a try! read more

My husband and I moved to the Branson area last fall and we were lamenting the lack of Boba. I spent several weeks in China on a business trip and was introduced to fresh brewed Boba just before our move... I have tried two Bubble Tea places in Springfield and Societea is my favorite! I will make the hour drive and find an excuse to run errands in Springfield just to come here! :) The Milk Tea is all freshly brewed and you can choose your sweetness level: the signature and specialty drinks are also fabulous and the atmosphere is relaxing and cheerful! First time ever having bubble tea: 10 outta 10! I had the strawberry green tea with black pearls and it was incredible. My wife had the Thai milk green tea with the black pearls which was also delicious. We SO recommend this place to anyone in Springfield, it was great. The guy working was helpful and kind. We also had the roll cake and the matcha cheesecake. The matcha cheesecake was not for us, but I'm sure someone with the tastebuds for it would love it! My first time trying Bubble tea and the jelly bubbles are too weird for me. Service was friendly and quick but bubble tea is not for me.
