Ok these donuts are amazing! They're super tasty and nice and soft! Their donut holes are also very good, I'm not a fan of their cake style donuts but the soft fluffy ones are amazing read more

Service was very good. Ambiance was chill and they keep it super cold. (Not a bad thing). The doughnuts were kind of middle of the road me for me; UNLESS, you got speciality doughnuts. Then they were absolutely excellent. The coconut ones were amazing and the apple fritters were super scrumptious!!!! 100% recommend but it's only a 4 star because I felt like the regular doughnuts were a little lacking. The other definitely made up for them though!!!!!! read more

The best donuts around! Every time I've been there has been great. I'll make an excuse to go to Springfield just to get some of their donuts. 10/10 read more

While the Apple Fritters are delicious, possibly the best I've ever had I can no longer support this business. As I was leaving I noticed a fish with two large fish. The tank was sooooo dirty and mossy I was taken back that fish actually were living in this dump of a fish tank not only that the tank was so narrow, fish this size had no room to swim. The black and white fish was dying. His fin was droopy and these fish were suffering. I called, spoke with a female manager and told her it was awful for customers to see this abuse and neglect to fish. She assured me as wound take care of it. I can no longer give money to a business that is neglectful to animals/fish. They don't need to have fish if they can't take care of them properly. read more

These donuts are traditional donuts, nothing super fancy just when you're looking for regular donuts that are really good.

Amazing flavors of doughnuts and great coffee, one of my go to doughnut shops, wish there was one on republic road.

The donuts and desserts are incredible and I am never unhappy with them ever but I want to open a location near me in Lake of the Ozarks. Please hurry. We need you! read more

Can't recommend this Springfield classic enough. A must go. Best take on a cake doughnut I have ever had. read more

St George's Donuts - Dozen cake dounuts - Donuts Near Me - Springfield, Missouri

Sorry to be negative but I went to St georges 6 years ago and the donuts were a lot better. Moved back in town 3 years ago and couldnt wait to go there again. But to my disapointment had less quality and left a greasy film in my mouth. They were bought out by another family and changed the taste . Because of greasy film by the middle of the day the donuts seem to fall apart and are crumbly due to the excess of oil used. Loved donuts all my life but Never received a mouth full of greasy film as these are now. Businesses are bought out by people who keep the same name but are Not the same. read more

Stopped by St. George's before I went to the airport and I'm so glad I did. The shop opens at 5am so I had plenty of time to enjoy my donut before my 8am flight. I got the Apple fritter and the original glazed. Both were very fluffy with the right amount of glaze on top. I loved that the Apple fritter had crispy edges but a very soft and fluffy center. I will definitely be back whenever I am in Springfield! read more

Only tried two glazed and they were great. Got here before a little before 7am. Service was very kind too. The store seemed clean and food was fresh. Definitely recommend this place. Excited to try more from them! read more

Gotta admit, the very finest donuts in town! Fair pricing. Come ready to know what you want because there is always a line!

I'll start by saying that the service is really great, they listen and they're quick to fill an order, that being said though the food there tastes terrible, the donuts are always dry and far too sweet. The ambiance is extremely bad as well, there nothing inviting about the place. If only the rest of the donut shop was as attentive to the customer needs as the staff. read more

Good service and delicious donuts. Very cheap considering the donuts are pretty big! Definitely worth it.

The variety of muffins and donuts that are here, are just phenomenal. The staff is super friendly and it has quick service read more

Such good donuts - love the red velvet and the bow tie !!! Sweet staff and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

Stopped in with a sweet tooth while in town, just got a couple glazed donuts and honestly I believe these were the best I've had.

I frequently stop at the Ozark location and it is absolutely amazing! This location not so much so. I stopped here for the first time this morning. This location is rundown and they don't have near the selection of the Ozark location. The Ozark location has wonderfully amazing Mudhouse coffee... this location has crappy extremely weak coffee, it's served in cheap styrofoam cups with paper thin cheap poor fitting lids, so I ended up wearing half of it down the front of the brand new sweater I just got for Christmas and the other half ended up all over my car because the cup holder in my car cracked a hole in the side of the cup. The doughnuts were dry and the dough was poorly mixed with dry flour lumps inside... they tasted like they have never changed their fryer oil and left a gross greasy film in my mouth. I'll stick to the Ozark location (5 stars) if I want a St George doughnut. If I want a doughnut when I'm in Springfield, I'll go to Hurts Doughnut Company (4 stars). read more

Hands down best donut shop in Springfield. Don't waste your time going to the other big chain donut shop this place has what you need.

So delicious!! The morning donuts are really hot fresh from the oven! Will definitely come back here or visit if I go to MO!

As always best donuts possibly in the world and believe me I know my donuts. I have a lot of respect for the family that started this business they are really good people read more

Quality donut, not insane like Hurts or empty like S&L. Super busy every time I'm there, so if you're on a schedule, give yourself an extra 10 minutes. read more

NUMBER ONE donut shop in all my quest in the USA. My husband and I are super-picky about spending our caloric intake on donuts. So we either split one to 'test' them...or in the case of chain donuts...we just say no. St George's is worth a travel deviation, a drive across town! The apple fritters are REAL -- freshly cut chunks of crunchy allele, perfectly cinnamon-ed, scrumptiously glazed. The old fashioned, my favorites, are flavorful as opposed to just dough with sugar. They have a crunchy edge, tender inside--PERFECT!!!!! read more

I don't know, guys. I love Hurts, but I think St. George's has stolen my heart. The quality! The quaintness! The PRICES! It's too much goodness. Whereas Hurts is a great craving filler and a brilliant way to cure an impending hangover (I assume), St. George's is the best breakfast donut place in town. It's worth rolling out of bed semi-early on a weekend for, especially if you can get in front of the inevitable line of people. Plus, their coffee is cheap cheap cheap. While the BIG donut is the size of your face and sorely tempting, the smaller ones work just fine and will only set you back one or two bucks. My personal favorite is the lemon cake donut - it's not dense at all and the icing is SO fresh and melt-in-your-mouth perfect. read more

My favorite local donut shop! They've got a lot of different types of donuts to choose from. They sell beverages as well. When I went a month ago staff wore masks. I recommend this donut shop to everyone I know pretty much. I get my donuts here and they never let me down. Small shop, you go in and order and you're out! read more

Not a normal doughnut lover... just not my thing... However these are amazing. The glazed are the best and the apple fritter is second to none. Also a great sour cream. I may become a doughnut person after all. read more

We had car trouble and made a stop in Springfield. That's when we discovered St George Donut. I consider myself a glazed donut expert and this is the best glazed I have ever had in over 60 years! My husband loves cake donuts and he had the maple cake donut. He can't stop talking about how delicious it was. We live 3 hours from Springfield but might have to make the trip again soon just to have these donuts! read more

Absolutely delicious. I've never had a bad donut here and prices are great. The cinnamon crunch, streusel, old fashioned and any cake donut is 100% worth it. Also have other interesting treats like turnovers and fried pies. Don't skip out on this place!!!! read more

I would like to give a big shout out to St George's Donuts. This morning my husband stopped by on his way home from work. He asked if they had a certain type of donut that our special needs granddaughter loves. They didn't but made them for her. Thank you so much! It made her so happy and she loves them!! read more

This has always been my stop for donuts. Best donuts in town not gimmicky with a bunch of frosting or unwanted stuff just fresh donuts done the old school way. The old fashioned donuts are to die for and hands down the best plain glazed donut while you are here you might as well just get one of everything and some cold chocolate milk to wash it all down. read more

Awesome donuts best shop in town by far. Love these donuts. Apple fritters and maple bars are my favorite but you can't go wrong with any of them. read more

The donuts are AMAZING! Delicious, fresh and homemade. I'd describe them as light and airy but plenty big in size to feel satiated. The only reason I couldn't give this a 5 star review is that the coffee was so-so and served in styrofoam. read more

By far, the best pistachio muffin ever. Filled with walnuts and only .99 cents, this muffin smells heavenly and well worth the stop.

Got donuts here on a Saturday afternoon. Just like the two stars I gave them I'd rate my experience as "Meh. I've experienced better." The donuts were sub par (perhaps due to coming in after the morning rush). My boyfriend had eaten here before and assured me how great they were but I didn't even finish mine. The biggest deterrent was the fact that there were gnats all over the donuts in the case! I get that it happens and a lot of the time it's uncontrollable but literally seeing them crawl on the donuts was gross read more

Awesome donuts! Best in town. Warm and fresh.

The Best donuts I have consistently ever had. Service is fine but I go there for the donuts. Cheaper than all the other donuts shops but have better donuts than hurts, Rays, donut time. I think it's 7.99 for a dozen, or like 80cents a donut with a hole. read more
