Super cute euro-inspired café in downtown Springfield! I stopped in for breakfast, and the bowl I ordered was perfect. The interior has such a cool, cozy vibe, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and am excited to come back and try some of the other items on the menu! read more

My family and I stopped here on a Sunday morning. The service was prompt and the food delicious. The only reason for not five stars was they charged four dollars to sub out bacon for sausage on a bowl... seems ridiculous considering the price point of everything else. Also I'm anti restaurants that ask for tips just cause..no real extra attn I felt even thought we tipped 18% read more

The European is always a favorite of mine! Everything I have ever had from them is so good. They always have a fun seasonal drink menu which is typically what I order from. Their sourdough toast is SO GOOD. I recently tried their macarons as well which were delicious and the perfect texture. Cute open airy vibe inside with lots of plants, service is always good, and you can't go wrong with any of their food/drink. They do get pretty busy on the weekend, so prepare for a longer wait in line. Overall, fantastic place. Highly recommend! read more

The service is great any day for the amount of people and the food is great it is clean inside and you should come here.

Delicious pastries! Perfect for Easter. We can't wait to visit again and try the desserts.

I ordered the chocolate malted latte with a chocolate croissant. I was greatly disappointed to have it served as a cold beverage. I had hoped to have a hot beverage to compliment my pastry. When I shared my displeasure with the cashier there no acceptance of the lack of disclosure that it was a cold beverage. She simply said that most of their beverages were hot or cold. read more

An unassuming little coffee shop with very friendly, young staff. It's my favorite in the area, I just wish I didn't come when they were cleaning up in the afternoon. But the coffee and cake were nice. I recommend the caramel brûlée latte (5/5) and the Dulce de Leche Latte (5/5). The chocolate malted latte was meh (2/5). The chocolate mousse, and the tiramisu were very good (5/5) . The Chai Opera cake was dry (2.5/5) but the Mocha opera cake was much better (4/5). The caramel chocolate eclair was interesting, but not a must have (3/5). I wasn't a huge fan of the Ferrero Rocher cake (2/5) either, but everything was fresh. Everything is homemade. It's nice for a date or taking a friend into town, but too expensive to go regularly. It was $15 for one cake and a 12 oz latte. read more

The desserts here are incredible, and very creative. I would visit again for that reason alone!

The staff was very friendly and helpful- answering any questions we had and recommending different items. The chocolate malted latte was absolutely amazing, the espresso was smooth, it wasn't too sweet, and the malt was subtle. The macaroons were to die for and each one was a different trip and experience of various flavors for the palate! The atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and cozy. Tucked away in a historic downtown area. Worth the walk if you can't find a place to park! We definitely will be back and we can't recommend this place enough! read more

Phenomenal. Delicious. Flavorful. Amazing. My friend and I popped in for some tea. Unfortunately they did not have plain herbal teas (like a Chamomile or Peppermint). I decided to try the Italian Soda, desert pear and am so glad I did! It was one of the best flavored Italian Sodas I've ever had! 5/5 The crème brûlée was also phenomenal. Great vanilla bean flavor, perfect consistency on a crunchy caramel crust. The perfect juxtaposition of flavors. Superb. 5/5 The vibe was calm and classy, yet casual. Typical of your typical cafes, but in the best way possible. Service was good. There were a few items that I was wanting to try, but they had sold out for the day. At least that means that everything is fresh! I highly recommend you try European Cafe if you like cafes with baked goods and quick drinks. It is amazing! read more

Greeted by sweet, courteous service. From the entrance off of downtown square until coffee ready for pickup at counter, a charming and welcomed passing. Latte was made to belly-warming perfection and delighted they had a few dairy-alternatives to select from. They had a horchata latte special, but were out because they make their rice milk in house! (No vegan friendly bites or treats here, but not advertised that they do.) read more

I'm not sure what downtown Springfield did to deserve this gem, but I'm here for it. I have been stopping here every time I'm in Springfield, since 2020. This is my favorite bakery in Springfield because they have so many options for European treats that are all baked in house. The cases are always stocked with cakes, cookies and more. I love that some cookies are bite sized and dainty. My favorite thing to do is get a mixed box of cookies and let my kids try a variety of flavors. The Italian wedding cookie is always a hit. For drinks, I have tried the matcha, blueberry lavender lemonade, and chocolate malted latte. All are delicious, the ambiance is peaceful, and the charm is undeniable. Don't miss this spot and try something new each time! read more

Such a wonderful cafe, it's so relaxing, their music choice was lovely; made it so pleasant. There's lots of pastries to choose from. We had mini desserts since we had just had dinner but next time I'm stopping there first for a dessert before dinner, why not haha. I enjoyed their vanilla latte, so creamy, tasty and the right temperature, delicious! I had a wonderful evening with my daughters, I also liked how friendly the staff is and the cleanliness of the cafe. Don't miss out, stop by. read more

We have had 3 trips to the cafe and all were satisfactory. Twice for desserts before a movie. Service was friendly and efficient. Coffee was especially good and apple desserts have we think real sliced and cooked apples. In a flaky crust. The other desserts are quite pricey so we have not sampled them. They have a nice lower priced selection though. ( not saying they aren't good or worth the price but 8-9.00 for specialty tarts etc is more than we care to pay). Breakfast food was great and priced about the same as any other fancy place in town. Atmosphere is nice and new corner location affords for some people watching on the square as well as a patio during nice weather. One of our new favored places. The current staff has been delightful and friendly on our visits. read more

Not as great as they would imagine they are. I bought a slice of Mocha Opera cake. Although it looked good, it was nothing to get excited over and cost a small fortune, $7.50 (over $8 with tax). The wait time was also extremely slow. read more

We love everything about this cafe! The best pastries and coffee in town, not to mention the most gracious owners

Some of the best macarons I've tried! The staff was super nice as well. Some of the pastries were a bit overpriced, though. We also had someone in front of us in line purchase tons of pastries and bought all of the ones that we wanted to try, although they can't do much to prevent that. The Apple streusel was very messy and flakey and, while I enjoyed it, it wasn't worth it for the amount of mess it made. They also don't have many drink options apart from coffee and tea (some cold/iced/frozen drinks would've been appreciated!) I didn't necessarily have a bad experience here, but there are just other locations downtown that I'd prefer to visit with a larger menu and better atmosphere. I will still recommend their macarons to anyone who asks, though! read more

I am a flight attendant who loves food. Let me tell you, this place is a gem. Definitely worth it I have tried almost everything in their dessert menu and 2 drinks within my two trips and here's what I found. Food- aesthetically pleasing. The food tastes as good as it looks. On my two occasions I have gone here, all of the food stayed consistent. The cakes are the star because of how yummy it looks but the macaroons are to die for. I have tried many bakeries since I love sweets and this is one of the best macaroons I have tried. The drinks isn't dissappointing either. Even the weird combinations such as lavender and blueberry work together in perfect harmony on my tongue. Definitely recommend their food. Inside the place: It's a mix between cozy and fancy which I like. I have seen people hangout with friends. They have chess that you can play which is always a plus. You can also take aesthetic pictures here with your food on Instagram. For my more practical people, it's a good place to chill. Even if many people hang out here. It's still a quiet place. If I lived near here, I would be at this bakery a lot. Service: The service is pretty inconsistent. The first time, I had a good server, the second time was alright. Most of the time they are really welcoming and nice though. read more

This is easily the best bakery/patisserie in Springfield. I worked with the baker Uliana for my wedding desserts. She was so easy to work with, and the prices were fair for what I was getting. I basically had the freedom to do any custom items or flavors I wanted. I've also visited the bakery a coupe of times since then and everything is divine. One of my biggest regrets on my wedding day is not eating more of the little desserts. I only had 1 chocolate macaroon and it was the best macaroon of my life. I recommend this patisserie for any catering order you may have, or just to stop in for a sweet treat. The atmosphere is amazing, and the desserts are out of this world. read more
