Entrance is a little strange, in that doors on the corner but you have to go downstairs and through more doors to get in. Food/beverages are standard for an Einstein Bros. The 2 workers there were very nice/helpful. A good alternative if you don't want to do Dunkin that is around the corner. read more

We walked around to the front which I thought was inconvenient but then we saw everyone else going through what we thought was a service door and that made the parking lot make more sense. So normally this place would get three stars from me. It's a chain, it's solid, the espresso isn't bad, and the bagels are better than Brueggers. But three things put it up and over: 1.) It's always spotless. Now, having experience in F&B, I try not to judge too viciously on this, because I know I may have walked in between spins or something, but every time I walk in it's like someone just cleaned because I was coming, and it's nice. 2.) The staff is pleasant and efficient. 3.) Their Chocolate Cold Brew Shake. It was a warmer-than-usual day, and I felt like a Frappuccino from Starbucks. However, since I'm in the middle of my Lent challenge to give up Starbucks, it's temporarily off the list. When I saw this, I thought it would be a nice alternative. But, it's actually kind of better. With Frappuccinos they're sweet to the point you forget there's any coffee in it. You won't forget in this shake, though, because the cold brew announces itself loudly and proudly from the first sip. If you like Frappuccinos, try this, and you may have a new favorite. read more

He was angry at us and the other customers for obviously bothering him at his job to provide service and the famous Einstein products. Despite is horrible demeanor and terrible customer service we did enjoy our bagel sandwiches despite having to eat them while walking away from this establishment NEVER to return. Why would I give this business another cent when they don't care about their customers? How could you mess up a plain bagel?. No seriously, both times I asked for a toasted plain bagel with spread cream cheese and I reach to the takeout bag later to find the wrong type of bagel or missing cream cheese... like how can that even remotely happen?. I guess it takes an "Einstein" to do it right. No pun intended. Another time, the employee was too lazy to come to display so I can point what I want from the baked good. There was no one else waiting to order. So I walked to the counter and I asked for the only "pans au chocolat" left in display and she had no idea what that was. Well had you walked over from the beginning to (ah you know .. help the customer?) I would've just pointed it out to you. We walked over to the other side, and I pointed it out and she goes oh chocolate croissant... ahh that is clearly not a croissant (neither in shape nor taste not texture)... you would think a bakery barista would know basic things .. you know such as what a pans au chocolat is... but whatever. Just bag it please! There's usually two employees , one taking the order and one preparing it (putting it together). There always seems to be a disconnect between both. My favorite place to go for breakfast every morning. The bagels are always good. I usually get the brisket sandwich and it is delicious. Lots of other options as well that are all good. This store also has a great employees. They always make sure to take care of all of their customers, and go above and beyond compared to other places I have gone. This is tucked in a little off the street, hidden under the architectural overhang, and as such is a little more mellow than the other coffee plus breakfast spots around. I tried them for a breakfast and a quick dinner, and both were adequate; dinner did take a lot longer than it should, with no other customers in the place, and they were out of a lot of types of bagels by that hour (no surprise) but the manager was extra accommodating and gave me a bonus bagel as a thank-you for waiting. While not the first time at Einstein's it was my first time here. I ordered the egg white, bacon, and avocado bagel sandwich, which also comes with tomato and cheddar. Daughter had egg white, bacon and cheddar sandwich on Sesame bagel. It doesn't come with tomato, but they said they'd add tomato, n/c. So nice! Daughter's arrived cold, and mine was cold from waiting, but they happily remade them, no questions asked. They two young men, Sam & Leron, were so nice, very polite, and had genuine smiles, so they earned the 4th star for excellent customer service. If your phone needs to be charged, you're going on a hunt. They have 3: 2 on the upper level, 1 under the Elmo and Mervyn painting, across from cashier. They have some really delicious, fresh looking salads, which I definitely want to try in the future. They had a Buttery Carmel coffee, which smelled great, and tasted even better. The same for their Vanilla Hazelnut coffee, too. When I discovered that was cold and out, they immediately replaced it and gave me another cup gratis (I didn't ask), though I told them I just got decaffeinated, and was fine with that. The one worker, Sam, insisted I take the free cup, as "you should have what you want". Again, so nice! We'll be back, and not just because of the food and coffee. read more

I'm a student that goes to school right up the street, so i'm in there all the time. The very first time i went in there, 5 weeks ago.. there was gross stuff on the floor in the bathroom. I understood that they obviously hadn't cleaned it because of being busy perhaps. It's been 5 weeks ago and there is still the same exact trash on the floor and nothing looks like it's been cleaned.. i know i could just not use the bathroom but i mean i don't think they would like if i pissed in their booths. It's absolutely disgusting that they haven't cleaned the bathroom at all, that's gross. When i say it was the exact same trash i mean exact same. Someone cut a tag off of a shirt or something and it's in the same exact spot on the floor, exact same spot. If that makes you want to eat there be my guest but that grossed me out. Stopped in for a turkey sandwich (to go) for the first time today, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I work about a block away, and when I opened the bag, I saw that the wrong sandwich was in there. Usually I would just eat it and it wouldn't be a big deal at all-- But it was chicken salad, which is the one thing I dislike. So, I called just to see if I could run up and switch out the sandwich, but when Rachel answered the phone and I said my name, she already anticipated the issue, saying "You should've gotten the turkey and cheddar!" She was very apologetic, and offered to have someone run down the correct sandwich... He (Laron, sorry if I mispelled that) was here in less than 5 minutes! They also threw in a free sandwich coupon. Beyond the fantastic customer service, the sandwich itself was delicious and very fresh. There are a lot of sandwich shops in this part of the city, but Einstein's blows the competition out of the water in my opinion. P.S. I was very disappointed. How can a bagel store be out of bagels especially bagels designed for specific lunch menu items. No sesame bagels? No Asiago bagels? No PLAIN bagels??!!! All too crazy for me to understand. We also tried the strawberry chicken salad and added Asiago cheese. No cheese on salad after we paid extra for it. Lacked the main ingredients but hey they didn't forget the mixed greens! Also gourmet cookies were to come with our order - had we not mentioned it to Brittany we would not have gotten them in our bag. Brittany is not the fault. Poor management of this store will have this store closed soon. Brueggers and au bon pain are right around the corner they provide far better service and availability of items.
