Grand opening tomorrow but soft opening was in progress during my visit. A nice addition to this plaza and area. Panera Bread across the street doesn't have to worry too much because the dine area here has limited seating and is set-up more for takeout. Bagels are what draw you in, but surprisingly, there is so much more. The assortment of breakfast and lunch sandwiches quickly changed my mind to pass on the bagel. Orders are placed at the counter. Menu was easy to follow. I decided on a container of their tuna salad and pasta salad . Next visit will be for the bagels and the amazing looking bagel spreads. Can't wait!

What time is it? It's bagel time!

We visited during the grand opening in March, 2026 during breakfast. We returned for lunch. I am sure we will be back again. (and again and again.) At breakfast, there was no line, and our bagels were ready quickly. During lunch, the line was massive, but still moved at a decent pace. There are so many options here, and everything looks fantastic. We stuck with bagels, and they were all VERY good. They were perfectly cooked and flavored, and extremely fresh. The staff was all friendly and everything seemed to move very efficiently. I highly recommend this place. I have no idea how "authentic" the bagels are, but I do know they are a perfect texture and taste great.

It's a small little deli/cafe in Export, PA. Although it's not completely rennovated, it is clean and welcoming. I especially liked the gas burning stove in the seating area. It kept us nice and warm during these cold winter visits. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered at the counter and they served us when our food was ready at one of their many tables. We've ordered many of their sandwiches. They are overflowing with meat and cheese and served on thick sliced bread. They are made to order with freshly sliced meat (right out of their deli case). My daughters ordered a small pizza. It was hot, cheesy, and delicious. (Their words, not mine!) In addition to sandwiches, they have homemade soups. We've tried the chili, stuffed pepper, and wedding soup. They were all very tasty with good stuff in every spoonful. One of the things we like best about J & M Export Deli is they sell Boar's Head lunch meat by the pound. We've gone home each time with various meats and cheeses that were very fresh and lasted all week for lunches. The price was at least $2 cheaper than the grocery store, too! I highly recommend visiting during the week or on Saturdays for an inexpensive, fresh, and delicious meal. You will not regret it and will go back every chance you get!

The chipotle mayo is so flavorful and has a healthy dose of spice! They have many sandwich options and they all look so tasty. I can't wait to go again! The bread (we had the hoagie bread) had a fantastic flavor and wasn't too bready- which is key to a good hoagie. Inside is on the smaller side and definitely an eat and go kind of place. They do have some outdoor seating which I would maybe prefer or to go would be great too! Bonus for it being along the bike trail!

Firstly, I want to get something out of the way. I am a genuine New York City/New Jersey Bagel…read moresnob. My experience with Bagels hails back to the old H&H on the West Side of Manhattan on Broadway. They had a world-class shipping business which the owner squandered with drugs and tax evasion. What a pity. My second favorite place in New York is Best Bagels and Coffee in Hells kitchen. Fantastic. So here I find myself moving to the Pittsburgh area and wondering if these people know anything about Bagels. I visited a place called Pigeon Bagels. The lines were down the block on a Sunday morning for that place. The bagels were just ok. They were not super bagels like New York City. They were certainly not worth waiting a half an hour to get a dozen bagels that were just ok. So I had my son bring out five dozen bagels from New Jersey the other day. That'll hold me over. Doing my Bagel surveillance, I found out there was a place in Butler that claimed to have New Jersey bagels. This morning I checked it out with very little hope of believing the hype. I had an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, onion, and tomato. My wife tried the blueberry bagel. To my utter surprise, the sandwich was really good! If you look at my other reviews, you'll see I can be brutal when it comes to reviewing Bagels. As someone who used to live in New Jersey and who used to frequent H&H bagels, having lived in Manhattan, this baby is the real deal. The real McCoy. The genuine article. You get my point. I'll be coming to Downtown Bagels often. The price for the individual bagels are on the high side by over a dollar, but the sandwich prices are very reasonable. I'm going to give this place two thumbs up.

Out here in the North Hills, we've been stuck with chain options -- so when Three Brothers Bagels came to Shaler, it really helped fill a void. This place is a great destination for all kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches, baked goods AND really, really good soup. My personal favorite so far has been the potato leek soup with bagel croutons. It was so good that I'd love to see it become a menu staple rather than just a special. As for the bagels themselves, the selection strikes a nice balance of savory and sweet, and the spreads and fillings follow suit. What I especially love is that the sandwiches go beyond just breakfast -- there are creative, lunch-style options that set them apart. And yes, their bagels are chewy and might give your jaw a workout after a whole sandwich, but honestly... isn't that just what a bagel is? Tip: Make sure you get there early or plan to order ahead this place is SO popular and regularly sells out. I'm also looking forward to seeing their food truck out and about. Highly recommend for anyone in the North Hills looking for quality bagels, sandwhiches, soups and some genuinely great baked goods!

The different types of bagels are good, Jalepeno cheddar could have a little more Jalepeno in it, but solid. The real highlight was the sausage egg and cheese, the sausage being freshly pressed and made in house really made it standout, definitely recommend! Overall, it's a real good spot for a bagel sandwich, plus they got coffee and some other treats that people were raving about, def will try next time!
