Everything bagel with plain cream cheese

I'm really liking this place as you can tell. The breakfast sandwich egg and sausage quality was not good but the normal bagel and cream cheese was great. The ability to do mix ins for cream cheese is nice.

Glad to see a bagel spot in Bloomfield! Grab and go style with kiosk order screens. No where to sit inside. Quick and efficient! Bagels are indeed phat! Good crisp on the outside and chew on the inside. Cream cheese was also good. I got a plain bagel with cream cheese and it was ~$4. I do think price goes up if you get one of the breakfast sandwich options though. Plenty of street parking on the block in front or nearby.

Bagels. Right top -everything. Right bottom - garlic. Left - plain.

I had gotten Phat bagels a couple times when they were at the Bloomfield Farmers' Market. While I can't say they were NY style (as others have said), they were very good. So I was driving by the shop and I decided to stop in. I ordered 3 everything 1 garlic and 4 plain bagels as they did not have many choices left. They gave me exactly what I ordered (8) but when I got home I was charged for 9. ($32 with tip for 8 bagel!). Overall , the bagels were too well done. I don't know if they are usually chewy but the plain ones were dark brown, hard & not chewy. The everything were also dark & the topping was almost black, and the garlic one was totally black (garlic cooks very fast & quickly becomes acrid so a long bake is a problem). This may be why the everything bagels looked overdone. I can't say the bagels were bad but they were not at all what I expected having had them before they had a shop. I hope it was just an off day. 2 days later I stopped back in about being charged for too many bagels. They were very nice and accommodating. They gave me an extra bagel AND credited me for a bagel. In addition I have to say - today's bagel was not over baked & seemed like the bagels I got at the farmer's market. This was a lovely way to handle things (I didn't tell them all the bagels were overdone) and they kept me as a customer.

Bagels were great and kids loved them as well. Sammies and spreads were great. Huge fan and can't wait to come back.

Love that this is a locally owned and operated shop! Pittsburgh's suburban neighborhoods are…read moredesperately begging for bagel shops. Out here in the North Hills, we've been stuck with chain options -- so when Three Brothers Bagels came to Shaler, it really helped fill a void. This place is a great destination for all kinds of bagels, bagel sandwiches, baked goods AND really, really good soup. My personal favorite so far has been the potato leek soup with bagel croutons. It was so good that I'd love to see it become a menu staple rather than just a special. As for the bagels themselves, the selection strikes a nice balance of savory and sweet, and the spreads and fillings follow suit. What I especially love is that the sandwiches go beyond just breakfast -- there are creative, lunch-style options that set them apart. And yes, their bagels are chewy and might give your jaw a workout after a whole sandwich, but honestly... isn't that just what a bagel is? Tip: Make sure you get there early or plan to order ahead this place is SO popular and regularly sells out. I'm also looking forward to seeing their food truck out and about. Highly recommend for anyone in the North Hills looking for quality bagels, sandwhiches, soups and some genuinely great baked goods!
