Located right next to andaz napa hotel is Eiko's a great spot for japanese food and sushi. We walked in and had a miso soup, wagyu nigiri, hamachi Nigiri and a spicy ahi role. The sushi was pretty good and the service was efficient and friendly. Great place to stop in for sushi (there are not that many Asian spots in the area) so it was convenient for us as we were craving some fish.

This restaurant is located downtown and there is ample parking. We arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable with recommendations that helped us order the best options. The food came out in a timely manner and was good but not memorable. I would suggest this restaurant if you're looking for an open table and eating something to satisfy your hunger

I went to Napa in 2018 so this is an old review I forgot to post. I sure hope their service has improved since then. Our experience was a complete disaster. Ok to start off with food - free edamame with yelp check in was decent. We ordered sake, bunch of sushi rolls: heirloom, Ricardo, Napa valley, Vegas. Also some sashimi, some Cabernet and s'mores for dessert at the end. As for sushi - it was ok. Lots of sauces to cover up the quality of the fish which was mediocre at best. A hostess checked us in, we were sitting at the outside patio area. She said the table is dirty, we'll get it cleaned up if we want. We were kinda puzzled by that comment. Nobody came to wipe the table down anyway. Didn't look messy so we were like ok whatever. Our waiter was semi bald headed who wore a black t-shirt way too tight for his own comfort. So things that went wrong - he kept forgetting the food we ordered. Forgot one sushi roll, we waited 20 mins for it and reminded him multiple times about it. Bad service, took ages, forgot to bring food repeatedly. Served other annoying loud table who were also rude and he ignored us repeatedly for no reason. Seemed like that table he was friends with outside of work. Didn't clean our table. We did nothing to be rude to this waiter. He was just a dbg. Bad service.

The rolls were great and I really enjoyed the drink. I sat at the bar and the servers were very attentive and kept my water full. The vibe in the restaurant was great and clean, everyone was very friendly.

Was a bit underwhelmed by Eikos. We wanted to get some sushi while in Napa so decided to stop into Eikos for dinner. I had the sashimi appetizer as well as two pieces of Toro Nigiri. The sashimi wasn't bad, but to be honest, the fish was a bit flavorless and I expected a little bit higher quality. The pieces were large though I must say so that was enjoyable. I have to give it to the Toro though - after having the sashimi, I wasn't sure if the Toro Nigiri was going to be great, but it was genuinely very good Toro and I was pleasantly surprised. Service was great. Our waitress was extremely attentive which I really appreciated and although it was a bit slow to get our requests, that wasn't necessarily her fault as the place was overwhelmingly busy. Ambience is cool - the place is huge, which I wasn't expecting but very modern and clean and a good place for a casual not fancy sushi dinner. Overall, I definitely had higher expectations for Eikos, but wouldn't say that it would cause me to never return. I would 100% give Eikos another shot next time I'm in Napa.

Been to Eiko's quite a few times and I've been wanting to have that 5 star experience so I could finally leave a great review. To start, very very friendly staff! Our server was great and he had an amazing personality to get us excited for our food. We ordered some Crispy Salmon Bites to start with ($22) and a miso soup (very delicious btw). The salmon bites came out and they were the tiniest things I've we've ever seen. Not saying we were expecting large portions but at least enough to justify the price. If you look closely on the photo, there's barely any salmon on about 3 of the pieces. For our mains, we got the Tsunami and Spider Roll ($22/ea). Flavor on the Spider Roll was fantastic but the torch sear on the Tsunami was almost non-existent which you can zoom in and see on the photo. Also very avocado heavy on top, about 6 of the 9 bites on the photo were mainly avocado topped for a $22 roll. I'm not mad at the pricing since I know they have expenses and all that to consider but just looking for justification on the price of their food since I think it's under par, but that's just my personal opinion. Overall, the service is great, the environment is great, the wine was great, but food has been consistently underwhelming. I'm sure I'll be back in the future if some friends want to go out of convenience but definitely would consider other options before coming back here.

Came here on a Tuesday night. My friend and I shared the blackened edamame as an appetizer. Best edamame I've ever had. Omg. The flavors. The char. Perfection. We each got the miso black cod which was AMAZING. Cooked to perfection. Beautiful. Flavors on 10000. And our server gal was so lovely. We were the last ones in there and they didn't ever try rushing us out. Cannot WAIT to come back.

Food was good, definitely not my favorite sushi place, but the atmosphere made up for that. Overall, great service.

Started off with some bonbons for our appetizer and the old fashion to get started. The bon bons are a nice surprise. My wife ordered some sushi and the kids each had a big bowl of Tokyo ramen. We loved it when they had the ramen at Napa noodles before it closed and are so glad they transferred it over!

Eikos Sushi was okay, perhaps I had higher expectations because of the Google ratings. We ordered the blackened edamame, which was unique and absolutely delicious, highly recommend those. We tried a few rolls, but overall we weren't very impressed.Ceviche was super bland as well. It was a slow night for the restaurant, yet our order still took a while to come out. Not a bad experience, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

Not my favorite sushi place, but it'll do. My dad and I came here while on our Napa trip. He had come once with some other family members and mentioned that it was good. We started with the miso soup which was pretty standard. I will say I wish they used soft or silken tofu as the tofu they used was firm and not my preferred texture with miso soup. We also ordered the seasoned edamame which I don't really recommend. It kind of just tasted like that thai sweet and spicy chili sauce was just drenched on it. Not the best. The Hamachi Bon Bon's were definitely a step up from the other starters. I liked the flavors and the fish seemed pretty fresh. The sauce was quite good. For my roll, I ordered the Napa Valley and I thought it was a good combination of ingredients, but I wasn't really impressed by anything specific. Overall, service was good and the vibes were nice. Experience was fine, but the food was just alright.

    Baked Oysters were very good.

The food was mid, the service was good, and the ambiance was great. Eiko's is a restaurant I saw on my way to Napa and was in the mood for sushi, so decided to randomly stop and check it out. It was Happy Hour and they'd just opened, so it seemed perfect. I ordered the California Roll, the Garlic Wings, Nigori Sake, and Baked Oysters. The oysters and wings were the highlight of my dishes. Colorful eye candy and flavorful. The California Roll, however, was deeply disappointing. No flavor at all and they use IMITATION CRAB. They should let the patrons know in advance (inside the menu) they use imitation crab which tasted like sand; very gritty and not good at all. I give them three stars for the oysters, wings, and service.

After a long day of wine tastings, we decided to opt for having Eiko's in the Oxbow Market. My boyfriend and I split the sashimi combo for dinner. These cuts were so thick and so succulent, I was in love. Seating is quite limited and our group of six was initially split up until a few other parties left. I wasn't expecting such authentic sushi in Napa Valley, but I'm glad that we stumbled across it after the day we had. They also offer a variety of beverages (e.g coconut water, kombucha) so I grabbed a Harmless Harvest to wash it all down. Even if you don't decide on Eiko's, Oxbow is definitely the place to be if you're journeying to Wine Country.

Some mishaps have happened with service on prior visits but management and servers are always concerned and make it right. That's why I keep coming back. I Popped in Thursday afternoon for Pho. It was not busy only two other couples eating when we arrived. We sat at our usual table And noted service was a bit slow right off the bat. When I received my Pho, which I thought was a longer wait than usual, it was luke warm if that. The Korean ribs and chicken wings arrived temperature appropriate. I pushed my soup aside but no one checked back until my lunch mate finished. When the waiter came to clear the table I asked for a to go and thought he would ask if there was anything wrong. He did not so I told him the Pho was served luke warm so I did not eat it and that no one had checked back or even passed by us or I would have sent it back to heat it up. We were done now so I'd just take it to go. Our waiter apologized and when he brought the bill said The Pho was comped and apologized again for the breakdown in service. When I dine I like to relax and enjoy a meal With who I came with. So receiving temperature appropriate food is important. The KD does a good job. They have a diverse menu with flavorful food and great cocktails. When there is a hiccup in service or the food there is a genuine concern. Sometimes it's caught by them and others it's brought to their attention. It's how things are dealt with when those mishaps happen. The KD addresses your concerns with sincerity and want their diner to have an all around great experience. If you have not been give KD a try when in downtown Napa.

As such, it was extremely noisy and you could see that couples on dates had a hard time even talking to one another, and eventually just stopped. I could barely hear my wife talking next to me. Most of the servers would even have to lean in to hear the orders. As for the food, nothing really stood out. We ordered a large variety as we were a group of 10 eating family style and nothing really stood out. The quality of the food I would say was akin to fast food or mall food court level, but you're paying 3 times as much. The price belied the food quality. For example, 3 small pieces of ribs as an appetizer for more than $30, I'd expect it to be uniquely spiced, flavorful and juicy, but it was rather dry and tasted as like sauce from Panda Express. Their Wagyu beef carpaccio had too many strong flavors so the taste of the beef itself was lost. Heck, it didn't even really have the notable creamy-like texture that wagyu was supposed to have either (likely a lower grade of wagyu, probably somewhere between USDA Choice and Prime). A lot of their items feel gimmicky too: the unagi clay pot came with some seaweed, a seaweed holder, and two small bottles of sauces. The sauces were bland and contributed nothing to the dish. Making your own "hand rolls" with the seaweed did nothing for this dish other than get your hands dirty. I've watched enough Iron Chef back in the day to understand that this is very Morimoto, as he tries to make the dishes fun. The unagi itself was quite nice, though it might be my personal bias. The Halibut we got was overcooked and dry. Yes halibut is a firmer meat, but man this was hard to eat. The best dish was likely the Ishiyaki Buri Bop, which came with some tables idea theatrics. Nevertheless, for the price, you could do much better at a place like Kunjip Tofu in the bay. Overall, a bad experience. Based on the price point, I thought we'd be getting better food and better ambience, but it was overall mediocre - a blemish on the Morimoto name.

Although all 3 were great, we have to give a special shout out to Jesse. He shared his creativity with us from his delicious cocktail creations to his AI-generated memory photos, which IMO would be any customer's novel reminder of their wonderful dining experience at Empress M. We will definitely be back!

The soup dumplings were outstanding, and the spinach dumplings were the most surprising favorite of the table. One of our diners even tried the stomach lining and said it was incredibly flavorful and delicious. We toasted with champagne and finished with the perfect egg custard tart. It was also wonderful to see the owner greeting guests and making everyone feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

It has open floorplan surrounded by TV's mounted all around the high ceilings. In the center there is a very nice island bar and low lighting above tables and booths surrounding it. Once seated our waiter came fairly quickly and asked if he could get us started on anything. Being that we came on a weekend evening, we were pleasantly surprised at the quick service. We decided to start with the Pickle fries. For our entrée, my husband ordered the Wagyu burger and avocado & onion rings to his burger. I opted for the Napasort burger with fries. After ordering, I decided to use the restroom and found that it was in a very awkward place. You have to walk down a very long hallway, with minimal lighting, passing a glass room with patrons. I definitely did not feel comfortable and decided to not use the restroom again the rest of the visit. Once the food arrived, everything looked great. The pickle fries were okay, but I think would of been better, maybe cut as slices? My burger was very good and I could barely finish that and the fries. My husband like his burger and said he can't wait to come back and try other dishes. He also loved his beer, Lost Coast IPA. Our waiter was very attentive, all the employees were nice and the food was good. We definitely want to come back if in the area in the future.

We made reservations online to come here for our anniversary. (First time coming here) when making…read morethe reservations we were able to pick which seating location we wanted. Patio, sports room or dining room, we chose sports room. The sports room had many tvs to watch from! We got to the restaurant 20 minutes before our reservation time and they still sat us, it wasn't busy when we got there but it sure started to get busy once we were heading out! We got the chicken Cajun tacos for an appetizer and OMG! Those were so good! Comes with a hot sauce but it was not spicy at all and my boyfriend doesn't do spice and he loved it! My boyfriend got the wagyu burger and he loved it and said he would get it again. I got the prime rib melt sandwich and it was delicious, the meat was perfect where I was able to bite into the sandwich and not have it all pulling out. I also got the summer peach cocktail which was really good! We also got ranch for our fries, the ranch was good but very garlicky! We got the mac n cheese, it wasn't our favorite, not much flavor. Our server made sure to fill up our water cups when they were getting low. Overall, we will definitely come here again!! Especially to watch sports!
