First, SOOO HAPPY to have a nice sit down restaurant near our house. This place is clean and love the outdoor patio area. My husband and i sat at the bar facing the patio area. I ordered the Croque Madame and my husband had the Denver Omelette with a side of bacon and pancakes. He said the pancakes were kind of dry but he enjoyed the rest of his meal. The Croque Madame is HUGE and DELICIOUS! I could only eat about 1/4 of it. The cheese with the dijon gives it a great little tang that went along well with the eggs on top and the bacon sandwiched in between the two pieces of brioche. It was SO GOOD! Just too much for me to eat. Definitely shareable. So many items on the menu that caught my eye. Can't wait to try more of these items. We will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Every time I eat at Eggstasy, I walk out wanting to turn around and walk right back in for another experience. The servers are very professional and friendly. Their food is filling, delicious, and extremely affordable for what you receive. We dine there most Sunday mornings and it's a completely full house-- yet we get our food almost immediately after placing our order! We love sitting at the bar as it's a seat-yourself policy. I have done takeout twice from this location and I DO NOT live close to it, I chose it because I was in the area. The first time I ordered a steak skillet and they did not add the steak . Today I checked all the meals except the "toast," the meals were made correctly except adding grape jelly when requested not to, that's not a big deal. Asked to exchange no problem. Got home to find that we received multi grain toast and 1 English muffin vs 2 English muffins as requested. The food is AMAZING but I would be very cautious when ordering takeout and check everything before leaving or just dine in at this location. I've NEVER had issues at the Gilbert location. read more

Came back for my 2nd time & had the same server. This time I came with a group and she was nice at first. Until I sent back poach eggs I ordered. I told her they came out poached hard. And she said "we'll how do you want them cooked? Poach easy?" I'm like. Girl. Just poached. She never came back to check on how everything was. We asked for extra napkins and didn't get them. I've been seeing pictures of this location on Facebook so I decided to come here for breakfast. When we arrived we had to submit our name as there was a waiting list. Wait time was about 25 minutes on Sunday morning around 9:50. When it was our time we were seated and our waitress immediately came by and took our drink order. As we perused the menu, I couldn't decide as everything on the menu looked delicious. I decided to order the Roasted Garlic, Toasted Almonds & Asparagus monterey jack cheese, spinach, balsamic reduction omelette. However I requested it comes as a scramble. I had the choice of hash browns or fruit and pancakes or toast which by the way the menu didn't say that on the menu. So you do have those options under The "Omelette" section so I was surprised that it was an option for the same price. As we waited for our food the service was on point!!! There was two of us and we were checked on regularly for refills on coffee and water. We probably waited less than 13 minutes for our food to arrive even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The manager came by and offered coffee as well and made sure that we were happy with our meal. He was very attentive as well as the staff. I highly recommend this spot. Both meals that were ordered were delicious. Staff was friendly, food was yummy, and a great atmosphere to enjoy a Sunday breakfast or brunch. FAILED Valentine's Day Brunch with mom, 2 sisters and a young niece. As was expected restaurant was busy and the atmosphere was edgy. We were sat quickly. However, the server was unenthusiastic she failed to explain the virtues of the Eggesty experience. When pressed for information she actually advised the omelets were made with 6 eggs and we may want to share. Ok good enough we can read the menu and make a decision. Place our order, got 2 coffees (awful, bitter and so strong the cream didn't help. Nieces Mickey Mouse pancake cake came 3 min after ordered (not a good start) was cold and mealy with an odd taste, bacon was burnt. Tried to discuss this with the server. Attempted to explain how we felt pancake should be hot and fresh. When this didn't pan out, I canceled the remaining order and requested check for the coffee and child pancake. (We left a tip for these items) Enter the manager who I now understand is the owner... Peter Verros, who proceeds from across the room (barely close to the table) loudly begins to tell us he's comped our entire meal, he was rude and refused to listen to our reason for canceling...for five minutes he's bustling around completely full of himself...saying he serves French coffee. Just because it's French does not mean the coffee is good! He further refused to even discuss the cold mealy pancake and burnt bacon. We tried to leave my family makes it out the door and I'm at the hostess station and his tirade progressively got worse ... this man Peter Verros will argue with a door knob just to hear himself talk. Not once did he try to salvage the Valentine Brunch; he just made sure all four of the adults will tell friends & family what a horrible experience we had in his establishment. I'll start by saying the meal, wait staff and ambiance were great.....however, I'm only giving them 4 stars. Here's why, we called a week ahead because we had a large party (13 people). The staff made a point to say that we had to all be there at the reserved time or we would not be seated and could lose the reservation. That was understandable. What was not understandable and off-putting, was that the staff proceeded to call my mother 3 more times during the week to warn her over and over that we would not be seated unless all of us were there by the reserved time. It felt as if simply trying to go out to breakfast as a whole family to celebrate a birthday was an inconvenience for Eggstasy. I understand large parties can be stressful for restaurants but we are still paying customers ready and willing to eat at your restaurant. We were all there before our reserved time and made sure to check in early and then again at our reserved time. We were told they were 'just waiting for a table to clear.' (which was a surprising reply after all the fuss about not being late) We were sat soon after and everything was great from there, hence upping to the 4 star review. I will say as a side note, the menu is a little odd. For instance, My Bloody Mary came with a chocolate covered slice of bacon and a gummy candy in the shape of an egg. Weird. But, there are some regular breakfast choices to choose from that are yummy. I had the banana Nutella crepes and they were delicious . I guess overall, it's worth a try. Just maybe steer clear of a large party if you don't like being fussed at, and plan to try something new and unique. read more

Service was quick & attentive. Our table ordered everything from pancakes to burgers and everyone loved their food. It all came out super quick AND correct. Hubby ordered an omelette that was spicy and scrumptious. Third, service on opening week... amazing. We were told 20min wait, but we're sat in 2mins. We checked out the new restaurant. The staff was very friendly when we arrived. The menu showed some delicious sounding items, so I settled on the lemon blueberry French toast. They use their own artisan bread, which tasted just like pound cake. That was awesome tasting! My wife had the banana macadamia pancakes, which she really loved. Their coffee was nice & strong too!!! The omelets were the best tasting thing we had there, hash browns were less than desirable, and pancakes ... forget it. I'm not sure what their batter consists of, but has to be the worst all 5 of us have ever tasted. Unfortunately, we all got them as our side, and even upgraded a few. There is no amount of gunk & toppings they could put on to make these things taste good. The consistency was even off. We will stick to our kitchen for breakfast next time. First time here. Service was excellent. I ordered the sun-dried tomato and goat cheese omelette, asked them to hold the pine nuts. Omelette came WITH pine nuts. I mentioned it to the server and she said they would remake it. I told her it was okay - I wasn't allergic I just didn't like them. I scraped them off. Manager came over and asked about it , offered to get me anything I wanted. I told him thank you but we're good. He ended up not charging for the omelette. Now THAT is how you run a restaurant!
