Chicken Benny and a side of cheesy grits

So I keep seeing this exquisite café and I decided I would go try. It was really tasty. I got the chicken Benny. Which was chicken fried chicken on top of a biscuit with a poached egg. It was very tasty. It was such a strange combination. I wanted to try it. I'm glad I did. The chicken was done perfectly. The biscuit was fluffy. The poached egg was of course delicious I also got the cheesy grits on the side and that was very tasty. I will definitely be back to try some more. I have to say my waiter was very helpful and tea arrived just automatically, didn't even have to ask. And the manager was very attentive and kept asking if everything was OK and did I need anything? Very nice. I felt very welcome.

Corned beef hash was definitely from a can -- but honestly? They crisped it up just right, so no complaints there. Hash browns were solid, golden, and crunchy. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, exactly how they should be. The weak link? The bread. Truly tasteless, like it forgot to show up to breakfast. Second time and will come again.

When you come visit from out to town, the best thing to do is YELP!!! I was disappointed to find out this is not a family business... it's a franchise. Nonetheless, freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious breakfast options. A rad pricy, but food is good! Place got busy soon after 9am. Friendly staff..

Dined here on a Sunday and there was a but of a wait after joining the waitlist - this place seems pretty popular. However, the food was delish and service was quick once seated. The Banana and Nutella French Toast breakfast come was soo good!! Not pictured is the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes which were soft and fluffy but very sweet. Overall, this cozy spot is worth the wait.

Gather we here to discuss brunch. Mmmmm. That "not quite breakfast", "not quite lunch", feeling that we get. Burgers, or pancakes? Why not a smidge of both? Need a spot that says in their name they get you, and that mood? With a name that exudes an air of excellence, there is Eggquisite. This name describes the bright ambiance of the space itself, the service of a staff with smiles galore, and yes, the attention to detail on the food offerings. Use your Yelp App and get on the waitlist. Yes, this place pops, so there's a wait. No it isn't based on folks wanting to be at an "in" eatery. The wait is based on the flavors. Oh we know we each can cook breakfast foods, but unless you're an actual cook, or chef, this is not our home level cooking. I am picky, ocd, so I look for details though I still eat at and love "AwfulHouse." So this place is soothing in comparison. Homey. Yolk super runny, buttery, but every spec of egg white must be cooked. A spot that gets this right? You have my attention. I had 3 over medium. Geesh were these not as perfect as one can hope for. I mean buttery. Perfectly toasted sour dough wedges to sop up that goodness. Sorry for such a long review. You'll note almost all of mine are long, and almost always 4 or 5 star. I blame each of you. I always look for a different after Church brunch spot & I'm happy I found this place. The wait wasn't too bad but any wait just means the food is worth waiting for. The food was great. My husband said the salad was of great quality. I loved my breakfast & my 6 year old granddaughter loved the ham & all the food we offered from our plates. She was so full she decided to take her salad home. The service was eggscellent (see what I did there). AND if that wasn't enough they're apparently pet friendly. I saw a few people come in with their dogs. Anyplace that loves animals is a go to spot for me! read more

Enjoyed breakfast here with my family. Beignets we're a nice touch. Interesting twist on them. The food was really good. We were too early for mimosas so don't have a take on them...The only odd thing to me was that a lot of the staff members were eating while standing around the dining room. Second time dining here - as good as the first! Don't get discouraged by the long line spilling outside. They turn tables quickly and it's never a long wait despite what it appears. Delicious food served quickly at reasonable prices. The bacon is cooked just right, not to crisp and not undercooked, with a great smokey flavor. The regular black coffee is really good, too! read more

DH and the kids love this place ever since the waiter suggested the kids get their pancakes "very berry" style. Food is good and comes out fast. We're not from Texas and don't love the really smoky bacon but the rest is tasty! Servers have always been great and the manager / owner regularly walks around to check on people. read more

It's a cute little cafe. The staff is friendly, polite, cheery and welcoming. Brittany was our server and she was great, explained the menu and made suggestions. I liked the salmon Benedict plate. I recommend the salsa, it had good flavor especially with the hash browns that needed something extra. I also enjoyed a vanilla latte which was perfect, not too sweet and the orange juice was very good. I also appreciated Teresa, the manager, checking in on our experience. read more

Delicious breakfast! Hubby had French toast and I had the Denver omelet with grits and hash browns. Wait was only a few minutes at 10:30 AM but it was getting very busy. They were staying on top of busing tables and getting them ready for new diners. read more

We've eaten here several times. Always been pleased with their food and service. Realized that this is one of our favorite breakfast places! This morning I had the Denver omelette and my wife had a hamburger. Both were excellent and our server (Anthony) was REALLY great! My wife gave me a taste of her burger, and I have to say their burger is better than Kincaid's (across the parking lot), better than most hamburgers we've had, and from a breakfast/lunch place! We'll worth trying! Shout out to our server for recommending I try their roasted poblano salsa! We'll be back! read more

We visited for brunch on Father's Day and were so pleased. The food is egg-cellent. We didn't have to wait long even though they were very busy. We've been ordering delivery throughout Covid and love the food. Today we went in to the restaurant for the first time and we love it even more. It's so cute. The food was fast and great as was the service. The location is easy to access and there is plenty of parking as well. We've ate almost everything on the menu as a collective family with high marks. Incredible experience start to finish. Every single person working was friendly and helpful. Their Covid protocols are something you hear about but don't see. If you're dining in the area, you can choose to skip the restaurant dessert and come here. On my most recent visit, I ended up eating outside due to comfort issues. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Heads up! The shopping strip is very busy, and parking can be a challenge. In the front there are many crêpes behind glass cases. It's like a wall of food art. Inside you'll find an open space with a few tables, tons of dark wood, an open kitchen, but on my most recent visit, it was uncomfortably warm. It's was pretty outside (early March), and there were a couple of benches, so I sat outside. 1/2 Star. Service - I think this is the new trend, but you now order through a kiosk. Now, there a lot of positives, because you can take your time and scroll through the selections. But for me, there's something about interacting with someone and asking for opinions. On the other hand, it allows the staff to craft your crêpe in the open, which is cool to watch. 1/2 Star. Food - Full Disclosure - I went with my daughter so I'm basing this review on her opinion. She went with the Chocolate Banana. Now, it was loaded, and the folks at T-Swirl Crêpe do not skimp on the ingredients. Each crêpe is carefully crafted from fresh batter. My daughter gave her approval. When I asked her how did her Chocolate and Banana crêpe taste? "Like chocolate and banana". Thumbs up. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While the very warm temperature inside made it too uncomfortable for me to stay inside to watch the staff construct the crêpes, my previous visits have been great. I just hope the A/C kicks in when the Texas summer arrives. 1 Star.

Eggsquisite Cafe, offers an American diner breakfast experience. Despite a packed house, we were seated immediately, which was a huge plus. The service was fast, and the staff were notably friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes that ranged from good to completely bland. * Good Dishes: The chicken carnitas skillet and the gravy omelet were tasty and satisfying. * Average Dishes: The house coffee was unremarkable, and the hash browns and seasonal pumpkin spice toast were just okay. * Disappointing Dish: The grits were extremely disappointing. They were entirely flavorless, lacking any salt, butter, or seasoning, and tasted like plain hot cereal. Served like warm. Overall Eggsquisite Cafe excels at speed and friendliness, but the food felt inconsistent. While the main dishes were decent, but the sides like grits lacked a complete flavour profile. It ultimately felt like a standard American breakfast spot, similar to places like Cracker Barrel, with efficiency being its strongest selling point rather than unique, flavorful cuisine. We have visited this restaurant 4 times already, and every meal we have ordered has been 5 Stars! The coffee and service are GREAT too. We have had the Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy, French Toast, Crispy Bacon, Cornbeef Hash, Steak Skillet, Chicken Carnitas Skillet, and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (see pic). EVERYTHING we have ordered has been cooked properly and very delicious. The Owner or Manager (Raymond) is very attentive (but a little bit of a close talker). On our second visit, I mentioned to him that a staff member was not wearing his mask over his nose, and he quickly and politely to addressed the issue. He appreciated constructive feedback. I also requested that they join DoorDash, because we will not visit the restaurant when it is very busy (to maintain social distancing). I do hope they join soon, so I can order delivery in the future. Again, the food is GREAT, and I'm sure you will find something delicious to eat here! read more

Ambience was nice, service was so-so as the servers were more concerned about talking about the night before than refilling our coffee. Group of 3 of us and not once did anyone check back for coffee. When asked for refill the server forgot. Food was typical breakfast food. Everything was hot and fresh but nothing stood out. Biscuit and gravy was average. Great place to eat breakfast. There were plenty of seats, and the service was prompt and kind. I was seated without any delay. The blueberries on my pancakes were fresh, and they were excellent! The melons weren't my favorite because they didn't taste as fresh, but they weren't terrible either. Will undoubtedly return! read more
