Chicken Benny and a side of cheesy grits

So I keep seeing this exquisite café and I decided I would go try. It was really tasty. I got the chicken Benny. Which was chicken fried chicken on top of a biscuit with a poached egg. It was very tasty. It was such a strange combination. I wanted to try it. I'm glad I did. The chicken was done perfectly. The biscuit was fluffy. The poached egg was of course delicious I also got the cheesy grits on the side and that was very tasty. I will definitely be back to try some more. I have to say my waiter was very helpful and tea arrived just automatically, didn't even have to ask. And the manager was very attentive and kept asking if everything was OK and did I need anything? Very nice. I felt very welcome.

Corned beef hash was definitely from a can -- but honestly? They crisped it up just right, so no complaints there. Hash browns were solid, golden, and crunchy. Eggs over medium were cooked perfectly, exactly how they should be. The weak link? The bread. Truly tasteless, like it forgot to show up to breakfast. Second time and will come again.

When you come visit from out to town, the best thing to do is YELP!!! I was disappointed to find out this is not a family business... it's a franchise. Nonetheless, freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious breakfast options. A rad pricy, but food is good! Place got busy soon after 9am. Friendly staff..

Dined here on a Sunday and there was a but of a wait after joining the waitlist - this place seems pretty popular. However, the food was delish and service was quick once seated. The Banana and Nutella French Toast breakfast come was soo good!! Not pictured is the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes which were soft and fluffy but very sweet. Overall, this cozy spot is worth the wait.

Gather we here to discuss brunch. Mmmmm. That "not quite breakfast", "not quite lunch", feeling that we get. Burgers, or pancakes? Why not a smidge of both? Need a spot that says in their name they get you, and that mood? With a name that exudes an air of excellence, there is Eggquisite. This name describes the bright ambiance of the space itself, the service of a staff with smiles galore, and yes, the attention to detail on the food offerings. Use your Yelp App and get on the waitlist. Yes, this place pops, so there's a wait. No it isn't based on folks wanting to be at an "in" eatery. The wait is based on the flavors. Oh we know we each can cook breakfast foods, but unless you're an actual cook, or chef, this is not our home level cooking. I am picky, ocd, so I look for details though I still eat at and love "AwfulHouse." So this place is soothing in comparison. Homey. Like visiting that Aunt and Uncles house that made high, fluffy, aromatic Belgian waffles, and crispy, lean bacon. Here, you get the feeling of their home. Warmth, and no dishes to do after. Okay so this too is a damily spot like Aunt Helens. Yes, their are the tiny loud voices are energetic tots and toddlers. I'm older and miss when my adult children where that small, so this adds nostalgia for me. Fir me, it's the egg. I love a perfect over medium. Yolk super runny, buttery, but every spec of egg white must be cooked. A spot that gets this right? You have my attention. I had 3 over medium. Geesh were these not as perfect as one can hope for. I mean buttery. Perfectly toasted sour dough wedges to sop up that goodness. Sorry for such a long review. You'll note almost all of mine are long, and almost always 4 or 5 star. I blame each of you. We tried this cute little breakfast cafe and it was absolutely delicious!! The service was the best I have had in a long time!! Our server recommended these dishes and we were very pleased. Love this new breakfast option. My wife is a French Toast connoisseur and loved the French Toast here. Three large, thick cut pieces that provided a great Hardy breakfast. I had the GF waffle and it was light and fluffy. They give you the option for fruit between a melon bowl and fresh berry bowl - which I love because I never eat the melon at other restaurants. Raymond came over to check on us twice and there was always someone coming by to check our coffee and top it off when needed. Prices are reasonable and cheaper than 7 Mile in Keller. Very modern decor and a lot of space between diners. read more

Service was very good however in this time of Covid I was surprised they were sitting everyone so close together. I purposely asked to sit in the far corner away from everyone and the next thing I know is that the booths next to me are being filled up while the other booths in the restaurant are empty. Not good at all plus the food is pricey and average. read more

Eggsquisite Cafe is eggcelent . My hubs & I stopped for the first time for breakfast today. We ordered the Chicken fried chicken southern eggs Benedict & the Eggsquisite skillet ....Yummy. The skillet came with a choice of pancakes. We choose the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.....I could have eaten them all by myself. Was so good we decided to order to go to bring some to my Mom to try, which made her day!!! We will definitely be back read more

I'm an elite yelper, this place was amazing. Service was beyond top level, I was asked if I needed anything and they went out of their way to be of assistance, clean environment and friendly atmosphere. Good food though I'd wish the salsa had a bit more heat. 10/10 would go again read more

Eggsquisite always has wonderful food. Especially the thick cut bacon and the cinnamon and sugar pancakes (no syrup needed). To top it off the staff is friendly and always on top of everything even on the busiest of days. You don't usually have to wait but if you do it's worth it! read more

This place is great. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon are all very good. The service is the best in the area. If you join the online wait list you won't have to wait when you arrive (or it will be a very short wait). Servers take your order within minutes of sitting at the table. At most breakfast/brunch places, when they get crowded, the wait for food after ordering can be significant. Here, thanks to an obviously hard working kitchen crew the food usually arrives 10 minutes (or less) after ordering. I never have to wait for a drink to be refilled while servers and managers double check that you are enjoying your meal and don't need anything. The food, service and cleanliness of this place are all excellent! read more

My husband and myself found this gem about a month ago. We enjoy going out for breakfast mostly and we decided to give this place a try. It's a little bit of a drive from our house in NFW but worth it. Everything we have ordered tastes great! My favorite is the veggie skillet but their breakfast sandwich is yummy too. The coffee is excellent and that apparently is no easy task based on our experience elsewhere. The staff is so friendly! Even today the place was packed but they were on top of everything. Consistently checking in to refill drinks and clear plates but not making us feel like we needed to leave. Bravo to the management for running an eggseptional operation! read more

I love eating here for breakfast. I recommend it to everyone. The prices are amazing, the food is delicious and the waiters are so positive and happy considering it's 8am. The manager always comes around to check on the tables which is kind. She strikes up a conversation with everyone and makes the experience memorable and personal. Your coffee is always filled and your water never reaches empty. The service staff is very attentive to your needs. I love this cafe and hope it serves the community for a very long time! read more

My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Heads up! The shopping strip is very busy, and parking can be a challenge. In the front there are many crêpes behind glass cases. It's like a wall of food art. Inside you'll find an open space with a few tables, tons of dark wood, an open kitchen, but on my most recent visit, it was uncomfortably warm. It's was pretty outside (early March), and there were a couple of benches, so I sat outside. 1/2 Star. Service - I think this is the new trend, but you now order through a kiosk. Now, there a lot of positives, because you can take your time and scroll through the selections. But for me, there's something about interacting with someone and asking for opinions. On the other hand, it allows the staff to craft your crêpe in the open, which is cool to watch. 1/2 Star. Food - Full Disclosure - I went with my daughter so I'm basing this review on her opinion. She went with the Chocolate Banana. Now, it was loaded, and the folks at T-Swirl Crêpe do not skimp on the ingredients. Each crêpe is carefully crafted from fresh batter. My daughter gave her approval. When I asked her how did her Chocolate and Banana crêpe taste? "Like chocolate and banana". Thumbs up. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While the very warm temperature inside made it too uncomfortable for me to stay inside to watch the staff construct the crêpes, my previous visits have been great. I just hope the A/C kicks in when the Texas summer arrives. 1 Star.

Eggsquisite Cafe, offers an American diner breakfast experience. Despite a packed house, we were seated immediately, which was a huge plus. The service was fast, and the staff were notably friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes that ranged from good to completely bland. * Good Dishes: The chicken carnitas skillet and the gravy omelet were tasty and satisfying. * Average Dishes: The house coffee was unremarkable, and the hash browns and seasonal pumpkin spice toast were just okay. * Disappointing Dish: The grits were extremely disappointing. They were entirely flavorless, lacking any salt, butter, or seasoning, and tasted like plain hot cereal. Served like warm. Overall Eggsquisite Cafe excels at speed and friendliness, but the food felt inconsistent. While the main dishes were decent, but the sides like grits lacked a complete flavour profile. It ultimately felt like a standard American breakfast spot, similar to places like Cracker Barrel, with efficiency being its strongest selling point rather than unique, flavorful cuisine. We have visited this restaurant 4 times already, and every meal we have ordered has been 5 Stars! The coffee and service are GREAT too. We have had the Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy, French Toast, Crispy Bacon, Cornbeef Hash, Steak Skillet, Chicken Carnitas Skillet, and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (see pic). EVERYTHING we have ordered has been cooked properly and very delicious. The Owner or Manager (Raymond) is very attentive (but a little bit of a close talker). On our second visit, I mentioned to him that a staff member was not wearing his mask over his nose, and he quickly and politely to addressed the issue. He appreciated constructive feedback. I also requested that they join DoorDash, because we will not visit the restaurant when it is very busy (to maintain social distancing). I do hope they join soon, so I can order delivery in the future. Again, the food is GREAT, and I'm sure you will find something delicious to eat here! read more

Ambience was nice, service was so-so as the servers were more concerned about talking about the night before than refilling our coffee. Group of 3 of us and not once did anyone check back for coffee. When asked for refill the server forgot. Food was typical breakfast food. Everything was hot and fresh but nothing stood out. Biscuit and gravy was average. Great place to eat breakfast. There were plenty of seats, and the service was prompt and kind. I was seated without any delay. The blueberries on my pancakes were fresh, and they were excellent! The melons weren't my favorite because they didn't taste as fresh, but they weren't terrible either. Will undoubtedly return! read more
