I met a friend at Eggsperience Breakfast & Lunch - Wheeling for breakfast. The first thing you will notice is how open and bright the restaurant is, even on a cold and cloudy winter day. We sat at a booth which had plenty of room for two tall people. I had the chocolate chip Belgian waffle and pancakes as a to go order. The waffle was crispy and warm and full of chocolate. The pancakes tasted great when I warmed them up the next day. Skip the Ghardelli hot chocolate, it tasted watery and plain. Our sever was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I recommend Eggsperience Breakfast and Lunch for your next brunch!

Service is great! The high ceilings make the atmosphere very enjoyable and pleasant. Some of my favorite pancakes in the area!

For my regular Saturday brunch with my mom, we always try to find places we've not been to before. We aren't always successful, but we did run across Eggsperience in Wheeling. I'm certain I've been to another one of their locations before, but it would have been a long time ago. We were seated right away - always a plus. They have a nice brunch menu. Of course, being limited in diet, there wasn't that much I could have but they accommodated my allergies. My mom had the Avocado Toast, which she said was very good. I had scrambled eggs with potatoes, link sausage, and gluten-free toast. The eggs and potatoes were good. The sausage was very good - and the three links were enormous. Until coming here, I had never had good Gluten-free bread. I don't know what brand they get or if they make it in their kitchen, but it was actually very good. Their portions are large, the service is good, and their prices are reasonable. In all, this was a great breakfast. When we want to go somewhere we've been to before, this will be on the list.

Saturday morning brunch and we got a table right away. Cute modern places with plenty of seating. Server was nice and friendly. I got the Smoked Salmon Benedict and a vanilla latte. Overall, good food and good service.

Great service, nice n clean huge portions. Great coffee drinks. Will be back to try more of the menu. Had a club was pretty good, Bf had chorizo omelette was excellent . Wasn't busy when we came in at 10:30 on a Saturday. The hostess wasn't that great Second time back this week. Foods great, fast service , large portions.

Great menu choices and the carnitas skillet was flavorful with the red peppers adding some zing but not over powering. The pancakes were a great side and large enough to have for leftovers. I tried a vanilla latte and it was better than the name brand ones. Service was quick friendly and professional. The building is new and this place has an updated, modern clean feel. Enjoy the eggsperience without breaking the bank!

    Matcha- waiting time 25 mins.

Came for the breakfast, waited for matcha 26 mins, got it hot instead of iced, even food came faster. Ordered a Hangover burrito... no salt no pepper... the waitress is running all around- looks like she is taking care of half floor- so almost no interaction w customers, people are loud. Definitely not the experience you want to get in the morning.

I lived across the street for over a year but never visited this place....until now. I decided to get breakfast on a Sunday and I was surprised at how quickly I received a table. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I was pleased with the portion size of my biscuits and gravy. I look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

I've been to the Eggsperience in Mount Prospect tons of times, and was happy when the Wheeling location opened, as it's a little bit closer. I finally visited for the first time Nov. 28, and was surprised at the differences. The decor at the Wheeling location is extremely trendy/modern, with gray plank floors, gray booth upholstery, etc. It looks nothing like the diner-style location at Randhurst. The second surprise was that even the menu was different! Unlike Mount Prospect, the Wheeling location offers no wraps or paninis -- and those are my favorite items. Instead, I tried the chicken avocado sandwich. It was good, although messy to eat. I'd order it again, but I hope paninis eventually make an appearance at this location! While I was there, I turned in a form to join their loyalty program and receive a discount on my next order. The form's instructions said to hand it in at the front desk. When I tried to do that, the employee there said I needed to give it to my waiter. When I gave it to my waiter, he said he'd pass it along to his manager. I'm not sure what ever became of it - I assumed I'd get a welcome email or something, but a few weeks later, I have not.

We came here at 8:30 on a Saturday with a party of 5. It was pretty empty, but by 9 the place started filling up. So it's better to come early. We got skillets which everyone said were delish! Great portion size - definitely filling. I got eggs and chicken breast and I got a bagel for the side (which was a great choice). The interior is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Waitstaff is nice. I'd come back!

Best cuban sandwich I've had in a long time. It's not on cuban bread but the pork and ham makes up for it.....and the onions!

My husband and I dined here. We ordered a burger and waffles with eggs and side of bacon. The burger was uncooked, nearly raw. The blood soaked through the bun making a mushy, unappetizing presentation. My waffles were ok, they are standard waffles. I ordered my eggs over easy and they came out scrambled. The bacon wasn't cooked completely so fatty and greasy. I tried to catch our server's attention, but she wasn't anywhere to be seen until it was time for the check. We've tried to give this place several chances as I like to shop at Fresh Farms, but each time the meal has disappointed. Then to find out the owner is recording for his channel sealed the deal to never come back. There's too many delicious restaurants around the area to put up with mediocre food, high prices, rude ownership, and poor service. Upside is that the restaurant is clean and there's a nice fireplace that some can sit in front of.

When I went up to put my name on the list, the man writing names down was extremely rude to me and my family. The man at the front also made multiple microaggressive comments toward us, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start. The food, in my opinion, was also subpar. I ordered two eggs with bacon, potatoes, and pancakes. The eggs and potatoes were good, but the pancakes tasted strange, and the bacon tasted old and honestly pretty disgusting. My sister ordered the "Factory French Toast," and she said it literally tasted like something that came straight from a factory. My mom ordered the meat omelet and said it was just okay. When it was time to pay, we asked for the check to be split three ways. When we received the bill, we noticed they had charged us an additional fee just for splitting it. On top of that, while we were waiting in line to pay, the employee clearly saw us standing there, yet allowed another man to cut in front of us. There was also a confusing moment when my sister accidentally dropped a few things, including her card and my mom's card. Someone at the front helped pick them up, but then tried to pay using whichever card he had in his hand with a random receipt. My sister had to politely correct him. Overall, the service felt disorganized and disrespectful, and the food did not make up for it. Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience for my family.

The restaurant is decorated very nicely, they put a lot of thought in colors and decor. Our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable, I appreciated her input. I ordered coffee and my cup was never left empty. They have a really sweet man who comes around and tops off your coffee cups. They have specials and a kids menu too. The bathroom latches are way too high for a child to lock the door, but they do have a fold down changing table in the woman's restroom. (Not in the stall) They do have high chairs for toddlers. I actually need a chair to rest my leg on because I cannot bend my right knee. Our waitress was very nice about it... however a man came up to me and told me it was a fire hazard to have a chair in the aisle... so what about the kids high chairs? The chair was completely pushed under the table... so I had no choice but to put my foot up on the other side of the booth (which I was avoiding). Also the booth cushion is not attached so when you lean on it it comes up... making it very hard for a handicapped person like me to get in and out of a booth. other than that our experience was enjoyable. My husband ordered the corned beef hash breakfast. It came with Corned beef Hash, 2 eggs (he ordered his scrambled) diced potatoes or hashed browns (he picked diced potatoes) and toast or pancakes. That is a lot of food for him, so I am going to eat his pancakes. I also ordered two eggs over easy off the sides menu. The portion sizes are large. My husband's scrambled eggs looked more like 3 eggs and not two. The food was nice and hot and tasty. Highly recommended dining here if you're in the area. Will be back.

We have friends who frequent The Original Granny's and they say it's a hidden gem. They're right! Walking in around 12:30, we were warmly greeted by the friendly owner and quickly seated. The inside had comfortable booths and tables. It was bright and warm. We can tell that the owner really cares about their restaurant and hospitality. There were a lot of regulars eating there, we can tell by the friendly conversations with the staff and customers. Our server was so friendly (her name escapes me, but I think it starts with a T). She patiently gave me time to look over the menu (there's some really good choices). Hubs decided what he wanted pretty quick. He ordered a rise and shine burger which was one of the daily specials, medium rare. I opted for 1/2 soup and 1/2 corned beef sandwich. We both got the clam chowder (soup of the day). The clam chowder arrived nice hot. His was pretty full of clams while mine wasn't but I'm sure it's just the way the soup gets scooped. It was still good! His burger arrived a perfectly prepared medium rare. The fries are so crispy and delicious! I hate sending food back, but my corned beef was very lean, somewhat dry, and hard to chew. The corned beef was cooked on the griddle which made it dry out. BUT, it was quickly remedied and replaced with my backup choice of a BLT. The BLT was very good! Thick sliced tomato, crispy lettuce, and crispy bacon with just the right amount of toast to the bread! It really was one of the better BLTs I've had (yes, it can be possible to have other places mess it up). Our server was so sweet and apologetic about the corned beef sandwich. We left lunch full and happy! I honestly don't know if they changed me extra for paying by debit. I didn't notice a sign or ask, it wasn't mentioned, and our check was only $37 so if 3% keeps a small family business going and servers employed, I'm not whining. The owner at the register asked how our meal was and thanked us for trying his restaurant (meaning he pays attention to new customers and regulars!). The food was tasty, portions were good, and the service was friendly! We will be back to try the breakfast menu!
