Tried eggslut for the first time. Was pretty good, I really enjoyed the Fairfax sandwich. The eggs were so fluffy and so flavorful. I think it's a big overpriced for an egg sandwich but I would probably still get it again. Quick service.
I figured this shop would be overrated because it's so popular but it's sooo good! I was browsing the menu when I walked in and the cashier asked if I've been here before then explained the popular menu items. She was really sweet! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was also a bit empty in there since it was a Tuesday morning so I was able to easily grab a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sausage and egg sandwich: it was okay! Nothing to write home about but the brioche bread made it super filling. Not a ton of flavor but I'd get a different menu item next time. The truffle hash browns: amazing 10/10 no notes. I'll definitely be returning for those hash browns and to try the other menu items!
The customer service was fantastic. The cashier was very nice and welcoming. The service itself took a little bit but it is nice seeing them cook everything to order. The staff appeared happy and looked to get along very well too which is always pleasant to see [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was pretty empty but very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were a few other people there but nothing crazy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food! So the orange juice is definitely a must! The hashbrowns were alright. They were nice and crispy and also pretty thick. They kind of lacked some seasoning though, maybe some extra salt and pepper would've made the difference. They were also a little soggy in the inside. The Fairfax sandwich with their Dijon-aise was pretty good. After a few bites however, the "wetness" of the eggs got a little bit too much for me. I'm not sure if it is the Dijon-aise sauce that made them like that or what, but it kind of became a bit overpowering after a while. The eggs themselves were delicious and nicely seasoned, just too soggy for me.
Eggslut is one of those breakfast chains that just hit every time. First of all the cashier is so friendly at this location. I ordered the Fairfax and the egg was perfectly fluffed and cooked, I did add a chicken sausage which I felt like was a little too salty for my liking. They unfortunately ran out of the truffle hash brown bites, and it was only 12:30 PM, however, I ordered the slut instead, and that is always really yummy too.
I always wanted to get eggslut to see what the hype was about and was overall not disappointed but not fully satisfied either. We were glad that there is a Glendale location so it was more accessible to us compared to the other location. Service was nice and quick and it wasn't a bad place to eat at. We had the Fairfax and the egg salad sandwich. At the time they didn't have hash browns available. The sandwiches were honestly good, but not having like had browns or fries kinda made it overly simple, or something just felt missing. I realized how much I'm used to it or how much fries or some kind of side and such would complement it well!
I finally made it over to Eggslut and the food was good but not exactly earth-shattering. The sandwich was fine, nothing I'd go chasing across town for, but the potato tots had me weak. Crispy, salty, golden perfection. Honestly they were the Beyoncé of the whole meal, stealing the spotlight from everything else. The service was a rollercoaster. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The business was open but the restrooms were mysteriously locked, and then suddenly everything opened right as the crowd started rolling in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Luckily we beat the rush, but it all felt a little chaotic. The saving grace of the whole experience was Sonia at the register. She was warm, she was bubbly, she asked how everything was, and when we said it was good she lit up like she just won an award. If I could rate her separately, she'd get five stars on her own. Overall it was fun to try once, but between the restroom drama and the slightly messy vibe, I don't think I'll be rushing back. Sonia, though, if you're reading this, you're the real MVP.
First off, Sonia was very polite and offered a sample of the orange juice, which was very friendly of her. The Fairfax sandwich was a 9/10. It was creamy, full of flavor, and very savory. The vanilla cold brew coffee was delicious. The cold brew alone without the cold foam was good. Once I mixed the cold foam and coffee, it was a perfect combination. The orange juice was hands squeezed, which as a person who likes natural fruit drinks, was a huge plus. One of the best orange juices I've ever tried. Overall, the service from Sonia was a 10/10, friendly and polite. The food and drinks were a 9/10. The only thing I would change is that I wish they added strips of bacon to the Fairfax. Will return again and order something different to see what other food sandwiches they have! Thank you EGGSLUT!

Consider taking a bite before leaving, and if stale (a complaint I'm seeing in many 1-3star reviews), talk to the employees about a remake -- they want you leaving happy with your order! I'm a big fan of breakfast sandwiches, but don't usually bother to eat outside of my house 'cause paying someone else to make something I make really well (at a fraction of the cost) does not usually compute. Eggslut, for whatever reason, felt like it would be different. Boy, oh boy, am I grateful I finally got the chance to try a few years ago, and now make every effort to sink my teeth into a sandwich at least once per trip to LA. Looks like locations in Hong Kong and Singapore recently closed. Since global expansion isn't the move, how about SF? Or is the cost of eggs (half joking) causing friction in the business? Seems plenty of people reviewing this location are new to the club, so the market is not saturated stateside. I can't speak to the ambience nor IRL service, as I've only ordered delivery from this location, but my deliveries have always been packaged perfectly for transit, arriving as if I just walked into the shop and picked it up myself. I can see how a stale brioche would turn the experience sour real quick, but thankfully for once I've landed on the upper side of luck.
Every time we go to the Americana, we always try a new sandwich from Eggslut hoping for an amazing breakfast sandwich. This time was no different and we tried the Sausage, Egg and Cheese. We've tried four sandwiches so far and they were all just average. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff is extremely nice though and the place is very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sadly, I think that was our last sandwich here.
If you love eggs you'll love their sandwiches. We tried the Fairfax. It's served on a soft brioche bread and their eggs have a soft fluffy texture with a little kick of spice. We also tried their egg salad sandwich. It was also tasty with their honey mustard aioli. The only complaint I had with our meal was the truffle hash brown. It was a little on the salty side. We went on a Sunday around 11 and there was a small line. We also had to wait around 10 min for our food. Street parking is available around the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some seating inside as well as some on the outside as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall a good experience and would visit again.
This was my first time having Eggslut when I've heard about it so much for so long and I was NOT disappointed AT ALL. The service was wonderful, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and friendly conversation. The cashier asked if I had been there before and when I replied no, he kindly went over the menu for me and gave me some recommendations, which answered all the questions I had in my head. He was patient while I took time to choose and made sure anything specific was noted. When my food was ready, another person gave it with another genuine smile and wished me a happy day. Pretty good breakfast sandwich with all the goodies that I usually look for in an ideal breakfast sandwich! Personally I still prefer "Muffin can stop us" down the street, but it's still worth a try. For 2 bacon/cheese/egg sandwiches, 2 orange juices, and 2 potato hash browns, I paid $50. I found this to be a bit overpriced, however everything in this city is just sky rocketing in price, so unfortunately this is reality. The staff had an assembly line of sandwiches going simultaneously, so I'm not quite sure why it took 20mins for our meal to be ready. But thankfully I found the meal worth the wait, and enjoyed my (very messy!) sandwich. Adding the avocado (for additional $2.50) was worth it, in my opinion. The orange juice was also really good! I'd recommend it :) Overall this was a nice experience and I'd come back!
I was shopping at the Galleria and I really needed a good breakfast to tide me over. Eggslut was right around the corner so we had to try it. We got their breakfast sandwiches (turkey, egg & cheese) and we also tried the French toast sticks served with maple custard. It's kind've the ideal breakfast sandwich. The brioche bun is so soft. The eggs are perfectly cooked, not over or under. And the cheese and honey mustard sauce bring it all together. My biggest qualm was that I could probably have eaten a second one, it was over for me in about 4 bites. The French toast sticks were equally awesome. Every edge of the brioche bread was crispy fried, the bread inside was soft, every millimeter was coated in cinnamon sugar, and it went great with the sweet and creamy custard. That is worth splurging on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It does get crowded, you should mostly just come here for a quick breakfast or take it to go somewhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have some seating but it gets busy and can be limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're nearby, and craving quick but delicious breakfast food, this is a great choice.

If you're dying go try their famous "The Slut", this is the best location to do so! The line here is usually much shorter than their other locations (especially Grand Central Market in Downtown LA) where the wait can be an hour or more. The Slut is a coddled egg on pureed potatoes that's placed inside a major jar, and topped with chopped green chives. It's all it's cracked up to be. Perfectly seasoned with salt and just as smooth as can be. Eat it on it's own or pair it with one of their crunchy baguettes. If you love eggs and potatoes, you're going to love The Slut. A definite must try! read more

I paid $40 and change for 2 breakfast sandwich's with a regular coffee. For the money I spent they don't have refills on regular coffee. I Don't recommend eating here you get the same or more at Denny's or iHop and at least you get free refills and not be charged $4 for a refill. read more

They won't give you water cups or any sort of water to drink with your food even after we purchased 3 items and tipped them for taking our order... When I asked for water they said we only have boxed water for purchase. Really odd to only offer $4.50 boxed water as an option for people to have water with their very salty food. read more

After years of seeing social media posts about Eggslut, I finally gave in to the hype. My boyfriend and I shared the Fairfax Sandwich, swapping out the sriracha mayo for honey mustard aioli. Overall, the sandwich is good. Flavors are great and the egg is soft and fluffy. One downside to the sandwich is that the brioche bun is also soft and fluffy. While soft and fluffy bread is great alone, the whole sandwich as a whole needed a contrasting texture, as it was lacking some sort of substance. I also didn't taste any honey mustard flavor but I did really enjoy the stretchiness of the cheese and the addition of caramelized onions. read more

It was my first time at this location for breakfast and I ordered their bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was the top left of their breakfast menu. Once I got my order, I took a bite out the sandwich and it was cold. I was expecting a hot sandwich..... I should of ate at McDonalds, at least their food is kept warm. read more

I don't eat here super often but it's always delicious when I do! I mostly go to the Glendale location, but I have been to the Grand Central Market one once. The line was SUPER long but of course the sandwich made up for it. They're usually pretty fast and friendly in Glendale. The food: I always get the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It's simple and never disappoints. You can also add avocado and other meats to anything for an extra charge. The sandwich comes with chipotle ketchup which adds the perfect amount of flavor. I noticed today my egg was a little more runny (over easy probably). I didn't expect it to be, but I also don't mind runny eggs. If you don't like your eggs that way, I think you could ask for a more cooked egg and I'm sure they'd accommodate. It's very filling so if you eat it a little later in the day you might skip lunch all together. I've only ever tried the orange juice here but they do have coffee. Philz Coffee is also right next door, and there are a few coffee places in the Americana that also pair well with the sandwich. Parking: There is a parking lot right behind the place. You have to pay but if you're going to be in the area for a little while, it's worth it and not too expensive. I love this place cause they're super fast and easy when you're looking for breakfast that won't break the bank. read more

The In N' Out of Eggs! This was my first experience with Eggslut although I've heard of it for years. I came because my friend with a Birthday chose it and it was a great excuse to go treat her. Take note this is NOT in the Americana, it is across the way on Brand at Colorado Blvd. Be prepared for a crowd. This place is SMALL and narrow. On a Saturday, there's easily a line but it moves quickly. The menu is small but yummy and my friend opted for the Cheeseburger ($9) which she liked but replied it was, "bready." I have to agree as I purchased the Fairfax sandwich ($7) with avocado ($1.50 extra). If you're sensitive to spicy like I am, have no fear! The siracha mayo offers a nice kick and didn't bother the sandwich at all. However, I didn't feel full, maybe I needed a side. At any rate, very cute, hip atmosphere and be praised to have your guest grab a seat because they are limited! A couple tables outside, a couple in and counter space goes fast. But we grabbed one and went for it appreciating a new foodie adventure. Now get me to Grand Central Market! read more
Eggslut has always been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for me. So excited when I saw fellow Yelpers pictures, disappointed that it was in So Cal and not local. But it was a place that was always on my mind so when I found myself going through the LA area back from SD, that was the one place I had to try. Hearing about the long lines, I made sure to fortify myself with a snack beforehand and opting for the Glendale location which is suppose to be the least busy. Arriving on a Monday helped too. Between two of us, we got the cheeseburger with egg, bacon, cheese and egg on brioche, and the slut which is coddled egg over potato puree. Unfortunately the yolk in my bacon cheese and egg had broke and ended up all over the plate (see picture) so I felt like I did not have the full experience of what would otherwise be a delicious sandwich. However, the slut made up for it as the coddled egg over the potato puree was delicious. You just have to make sure to have all ingredients with each scoop as the puree is a bit plain on its own. With all the ups and downs, it is only a solid 3 at this point. read more
Ok, this may not be an entirely fair review because I've only tried one thing there, the Slut. It's one egg, sou vide, over puréed potatoes, some salt and served with 3 small slices of toasted baguette ... for 9 bucks. To properly enjoy it, use a spoon and mix everything very well and dip the baguette. It's new and something different. It had good flavor and was comforting because if its familiar ingredients. But not worth it for 9 bucks. I'm willing to bet there are many true foodies out there that want to go home & try to duplicate it. Everything else on the menu, I've probably made at one point or another. Yes, at times I make a mean savory breakfast. I mean, I already know what eggs over medium taste like. I'm also familiar with bacon, sausage, cheddar and brioche, so nothing new there. My only assumption on why Eggslut is so popular is because of laziness. Someone asked & I told him it's good, but you can make it at home easily. He responded ," but that means I have to make it. " I rest my case. Glendale is a lot less hectic than the Grand Central Market location. I was by there several times but simply refused to wait in a long line for eggs. At this location, the wait was only a few minutes and they offer more seating. So if you have to try it because if all the high reviews, make it this location. Yes, try the Slut, their fresh OJ and even a sandwich, if you're like that guy who fears actually making simple foods. read more

I'm convinced that the only people who love Egg Slut are people who season their chicken with salt and pepper. I gave it 1 star because the orange juice was solid. The brioche bread tasted stale. I think the sausage patty was vegan and the onion were congealed. I removed half the egg and threw 3/4 of the sand which in the trash. read more

Overhyped indeed, but I have to admit that Eggslut is pretty darn good! I've had Eggslut before, but this time around it was B O M B! It was my first time visiting this specific Eggslut location and I honestly think it is much better than the Grand Central Market Eggslut. The wait wasn't bad at all, parking was easy, service was friendly and fairly fast, and this location has a good amount of seating. I previously had Eggslut's Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich and the Fairfax Sandwich. All were pretty good, but my all time favorite is the Fairfax with added bacon! You have to give that a try if you haven't already. The simple combo of the scrambled eggs, chives and the cheese is absolutely amazing. Not to mention the brioche bun literally melts in your mouth! Definitely returning the next time I am in socal! read more
My secret low key eggslut. I'm never really down to wait in lines, and when it comes to eggslut at Grand Central...oh baby you'll be waiting. You'll be waiting so long you could drive to the Glendale eggslut from DTLA, order, eat your meal, and be back to Grand Central in the amount of time you'd wait there. With that out of the way it's another Eggslut. The place with perfected Egg Sandwiches and that memorable Eggslut that everyone should order. If the prices look a little high for a breakfast sammie just look at these as premium or gourmet egg sandwiches. That yolk is gonna pop every time you take that bite when you come here, and consistency is key which is why I frequent this place when the cravings hit. Eggslut in Glendale is good to go to if you want to avoid the lines and crowds at the Grand Central Market downtown. Food: 3/5 Stars My arugula salad was overly salty, but I still ate it. I would ask them to pass on the salt the next time. The egg salad was good. I substituted salad for the bun. Service: 3/5 Stars You order at the counter and they call your name when it is ready. Not sure why I always feel compelled to leave tips for this. I need to stop. Parking: 3/5 Stars I parked at the Glendale Galleria to avoid the 90 minute free parking at the Americana. We ended up walking around the Galleria so that was o.k. Atmosphere: 3/5 Stars It's new, but they could probably add more tables. I can see that seating could be a problem if it is busy. read more

Eggslut is located on the corner of Brand and Colorado. I love breakfast sandwiches so having the option to enjoy a breakfast sandwich for lunch is pretty egg-citing to me. The menu is quite simple. It's separated into 2 sections: Sandwiches and Specialties & Sides. There are a total of 7 food items on the menu. We were here on a Tuesday around 1 PM and it was pretty busy for a weekday. The only available seats were by the counter area and outside. While waiting for the food, a table freed up so we moved over. It was a little tight for 3 people but we made it work. Fairfax (No Sriracha Mayo) * Soft scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly - they were tender, fluffy and creamy * Chives added a nice flavor * Caramelized onions were nonexistent * Brioche bun was stale and dry Overall, the soft scrambled eggs were egg-ceptional but the bun was a complete miss. read more

Wow! This place is yummy! There breakfast sandwiches are yummy, the perfect amount of runny, and they are built for a good bite! It is only open in the morning so better get there in the AM. You are able to sit inside and outside! read more

I ATE A SLUT AND I LIKED IT!!! Yes, you read it right. Eating a slut is a dream come true for me. It's so good that I am singing in the tune of Katy Perry's song while slurping on that slut. I ate a slut and I liked it la la la. So what's exactly is this slut everyone is raving about? A slut is a dish made of coddled egg on top of potato purée served in a jar. And what else is there to eat here? Menu is very simple which include eggs and more eggs - in different forms and varieties. Poached, scrambled, hard, over medium, you name it, they have it. You can have it in a salad, sandwich, or cheeseburger. This is a tiny place so seats are limited. Expect a long wait if you want to try the slut and other goodies. Wait time depends on the time of day of your visit but always anticipate a wait although it's a lot shorter than the one in Dtla. read more

I felt like this place is a little too overrated. Just went to see what the hype was all about, but I probably won't go back here again. I got the fairfax sandwich with avocado - the first few bites were pretty good. However, it started getting a little overwhelming after that. Maybe it was the cheese? The meal didn't leave a satisfying feeling and it was not worth the price I paid. $12 for the sandwich and orange juice - pretty pricey. On the plus side, this location does not have as many people (no wait) compared to the downtown LA location. I went on a Sunday around 1pm and there was barely anyone there besides two other tables. read more
Visited 6/4/2017 Heard about this place and been wanting to go so I was REALLY glad when the kids mentioned wanting to go here for lunch. Not to busy, and the line goes fairly fast. You get your egg sandwich fairly fast also! We purchased 3 different types of sandwiches so that we could each try each others and I have to say that I liked all three! Mine was the egg salad sandwich which was tasty and filling. Bun was perfect. The other one contained cheese, egg, and crispy bacon cooked to perfection. Lastly, the egg and cheese reminded me of a breakfast sandwich, but tasted better and cost more. They provide water cups, but to tiny so I was glad to be sitting next to the water cooler. Unfortunately, it gets a little busy/crowed next to it because most people seemed to be drinking water. Plenty of parking whether it's free at the parking structure or use a meter. Sitting area outside if you don't mind being in the sun. read more

Breakfast is my favorite meal. This place did not disappoint. We split both the bacon and egg sandy and the fairfax sandy. I was more hesitant about the fairfax (no meat) since I'm a bacon-lover, but I actually enjoyed that one more! This place was packed on a Saturday morning so good luck finding seating. You stand in line, they take your order and then you wait with a number. It took a decent amount of time to get our grub, but again - it was packed. read more
First timer at Eggslutz Bomb dot com!! Ordered the Fairfac with abocado and oh em geeee, it was one of the best egg sandwiches I've had. I wasn't too sure about the hype of this place. Walked in to a friendly staff. Told the guy that it's my first time and what he'd recommend without meat. He immediately said the Fairfax add avocados. The eggs were sooo fluffy. The rough of spicy mayo have it a nice kick. Inside a lightly toasted brioche bun.... I mean hello. What more can we ask for! Not sure how I feel about the $10 price for an egg sandwich. YELP 100 REVIEW CHALLENGE --- 73/100 I was excited when I found out there was an Eggslut opening in Glendale. I was already a big fan of the franchise so I definitely had to support this location too. I ordered the Fairfax sandwich with avocado. Soooooo good. I highly recommend it. My husband got the hamburger and wasn't disappointed either. The place is kind of small and can get a little packed. They have no outdoor seating so be prepared to order to go. **Little Yelpers Club** Large strollers might be a problem since it's pretty crowded there's only little wiggle room to maneuver. read more

Well I like eggslut but they have pretty simple menu. My first time was in Vegas and I had good experience there. I live in Americana and they open Eggslut here but compare to other burger places this doesn't have enough choice. Burger with cheese& egg& turkey sausage was good but fries are missing and burger seems to be very small for this money. I go here maybe twice half a year. I would recommend them to add some extra sandwiches and beverages and sides. They also didn't trough scout seats well. Outside it's so horrible they don't even have umbrellas from sun. Inside just few benches as well I take to go and eat at home hopefully I live 2 steps away. read more
For the longest time I've had Eggslut on my bookmarks. I finally had a chance to try it today. So I would give this place 3.5 stars!! Thankfully it wasn't busy and we walked right in no line on a Tue morning 815am. Anyhow service was fantastic and the place is clean! I ordered the Fairfax the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection very soft and buttery. I liked the chives and caramelized onions however I didn't get to try the caramelized onions towards the end as they weren't evenly distributed. Anyhow I also got the orange juice and their salted chocolate chip cookie. My total came out to be appx $17+ some change. I was like damnnnn!! Thats expensive!!! The orange juice was okay it is freshly squeezed however it was very tarty. The cookie was good but it was too big and $3.50 for one cookie a lil pricey if you ask me. As far as the sandwich goes it was good but it didn't blow me away. It was $9.00 because I added avocado and thats an additional $1.50 damn!!! Service was good and the food wasn't bad but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back and spend that much money again. Ill skip on the oj, the cookie and avocado next time. Overpriced! read more

Overhyped and overpriced. All I can say is I came here on a Tuesday morning and there was already a line to order. Fairfax burger Cheeseburger And the thing in the jar. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. $9 a burger and for a cup of mash potatoes and egg. Literally not worth it. Shake shake next door is more worth it in my opinion, and those burgers are the size of my palm. I was so so so excited about this eggslut and I'm super dissapointed. I'm so happy to get a closer one here in Glendale! I've been to the one in Downtown LA and thought that this wouldn't be as good of a spot as the original. But it's exactly the same! Consistency does pay off for them because I LOVE their breakfast menu. It's almost like the In N Out of breakfast sandwiches for me. It's simple enough to understand what is in it!
