A wonderful place for breakfast/brunch. We ordered the OG Eggs Benedict and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Both were perfect and had house potatoes which were nice and crispy. All eggs were poached well and the hollandaise was creamy. Wait time was easy with checking into Yelp. Great location and even better service! We stayed at the Aulani hotel and walked to Eggs 'n Things at 7:15 on a Thursday morning. We just beat the crowd and were seated immediately. The kids got the egg over medium with bacon and liked the food. My wife ordered the loco moco and it was excellent! It was a little fancier than the one we had at Rainbow Drive-in years ago. I ordered the veggie omelet and it was pretty good, but part of it was thin almost like a crepe. I don't like crepes. The potatoes it came with were really tasty! Because we didn't have to wait, it was a good experience overall. If we came later and had to wait a significant amount of time, then it would not have been worth it to walk over from Aulani. Lots of hype around Eggs 'n Things - the food was alright but I don't think I'm giving in to the hype around it. It's pretty standard breakfast fare at resort prices. Not pictured - pancakes my friends had - which are very ample servings, easily shareable if you're not a big eater! We went for breakfast at 9 and had a short wait. Totally worth a visit! A bit pricey, but it's Kapolei! Kids had the mochi waffle (loved the strawberry, banana, nutella & not so much chocolate chip...kinda dry). Tons of whipped cream piled high. Husband loved loco moco. I had the kalbi & eggs , kimchi, fried rice (was ok). Get there early! We were there when it opened & when we left...lines were filling up...and this was a weekday. The night before, my sister was looking for a specific restaurant at Ko'Olina to have brunch at the next day. Figured it out as Eggs n Things. Showing my age here, I remember the original location in Waikiki. In the late 80s to early 90s, it was located in a triangle of night clubs and opened at 2 am. Perfect timing for hungry revelers to go to. It was the after-party before everyone headed home at 6am Sunday morning. Fast forward to the 21st century. Glad to see that Eggs n Things is thriving while other beloved mom and pop restaurants that have fed HI families for decades are closing. Eggs n Things continues to feed, not just HI families but visiting families as well as it is across the street from Aulani. Sister and I got to Eggs n Things at 7:30 am. Surprised that there was so much parking, sister didn't see the signs that said "one way", "do not enter", "exit only" ‍ Thank goodness it wasn't busy yet. And like all locals, she took her time backing up the car into the stall ‍ Although the restaurant wasn't full, it took a moment for the host to figure out where we would sit as the morning sun was rising and shining right into the restaurant. Our friendly host, Scotty, lead us to a table that wasn't shining too bright on us yet. However, I did have to use my sunglasses and read my menu up high to shade my eyes from the sun. So I think it is safe to say that the restaurant would benefit by adding black Roman shades that they can roll down in the morning and raise up late morning. After moving to an available table in the back, we finally decided on breakfast. Sister ordered the Portuguese sausage loco moco, while I gleefully ordered the furikaki macadamia nut ahi with fried rice and shared the Hawaiian Whipped Pancake sampler. Just coffee and water since I knew I was gonna sample the coconut and guava syrup sitting quietly at our table. O.M.G! My dish looked so beautiful with the furikaki on the ahi, bright yellow from the scrambled eggs and the pinks gleaming amongst the Shoyu fried rice. Fried rice in HI is super different than the Chinese restaurant fried rice. I highly recommend it. Oh how I have missed you fried rice. Sampled different combinations in each bite. everything was so good. Ahi with the wasabi Aioli dressing is winnah! Sampled a bite of my sister's Portuguese sausage loco moco. I'm not a gravy person, but the brown gravy was delicious along with cubes of Portuguese sausage, beef patty, rice and eggs over easy. And last but not least, the pancake sampler. One issue with the pancakes, it was dry making it hard to cut a piece with a mere spoon and leaving the bottom skin on the plate. Great way to test a correctly cooked and moist pancake which I know nothing about how to cook it but just know how I like it . The pancake by itself is just ok. Pancakes with the whip cream, coconut syrup and guava syrup, individually, was delicious. Maple syrup was just ok. Now that I think about it, I probably should've tried a bite with different combinations of syrup. Next time as I was too full. This visit gets 4-stars for great customer service, great food. Needs a little work on the pancakes and sunshades for the restaurant. Would love to come back and have breakfast for dinner read more

We ordered the Ribeye Steak & Egg online and chose the steak to be cooked for medium rare but got a well done and almost burnt steak. Quite disappointed by this. The restaurant automatically add 3% kitchen service on the bill to give their kitchen staffs. I can understand that. However, it says for Dine-In customers only on the receipt, but we did get charge this for take-out order as well. Maybe the food tastes better if you dine in, but not so good for takeout order. read more

This is my favorite place to get breakfast on the island. Over the past year I have had to leave the island many times for work, and everytime I come back I come to eat here. The Moco Loca is awesome. Be sure to order it Hawaiian style. I also love the kalua pork Benedict, it's so good! The service here is always so friendly too. I highly remocmend this place. read more

The sausage were small cubes and not too many. The gravy was pretty standard. The special crepe of the day sounded delicious so we tried it, pineapple & cheesecake. The crepes were made well, good texture and taste. But the filling was way too much pineapple; they were chopped small and hard, not very sweet or flavorful and the cheesecake topping was good but would've expected some on the inside also. My friends and I came here for breakfast on Labor Day. We really enjoyed it here. I checked in online once we were getting ready to leave the house, and there was about an hour wait. It took us about 25 min to get there, and right after we checked in we only had to wait for about 15 min. It was really quick. If you're going to eat here, make sure to check in online cause it can get really busy. I ordered the rainbow pancake and it was delicious. I love fruits and pancakes so it was a perfect combo for me. I also had a side order of Portuguese sausage, which was 4 very large pieces. Parking: I got there at 9 AM and there was a lot of parking available right outside the restaurant. Staff: Our waitress was very friendly and quick. She made sure our waters were filled, and would check in on us from time to time. Overall it was a great experience. Avoid this location at all costs. Came in early July on a Tuesday. Didn't realize they did Yelp check in until I got there. Went to put our name down (after no one showing up for a few min). We waited about 15-20 min before we were sat. This is where everything goes downhill. We must have waited over 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. We ordered an eggs benedict, special omelet, and strawberry nutella mochi waffle. After 30 minutes, I had to ask someone (since our server was nowhere to be seen) to check up on our food. 5 min later it arrived. So I wonder if it was just out sitting. None of the food was very hot. Omelet was ordinary, nothing special. Pancakes were dry and overcooked. Strawberry nutella mochi waffle was way too mushy inside, so it seemed undercooked. What really made the facepalm meal was the eggs benedict. One of the eggs was half cooked already, and when it came time to eat the second egg, it was fully cooked...that is really sad. Again, not too sure how long our food must have been waiting or if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook the eggs right. Skimming the recent reviews, seems like nothing has changed in the last few weeks. Best to avoid until they get their act together. Hopefully the other locations are better. read more

This location is small but the pancakes were just as good as their larger sister locations. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. I had several meals here and loved them all except the turkey bacon omelet. The cooked egg was just laid on top of the bacon. But the macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup is to die for! read more
