I always get it with like 2 dollar extra vegetables but that's only because I don't eat meat. The food at this place is acceptable, the service could be better. The Kung pao chicken is good but the peanuts are huge so perhaps less peanuts would be good. They need to modernize with their checkout equipment or just suck it up and account for their books so that they don't only take cash. First, let me start off by saying that I use to eat at this place all the time, I'm talking 2 to 3 times per week. The last time I remember was back in 2004.....so fast forward to 2014 and I just happened to be in the area and craving Chinese. You can find plenty of Chinese food options anywhere within 5 minutes in this area. However, not all Chinese Food is alike. The food here is by not a healthy option, but then again, Chinese food isn't recognized for being too healthy. I've been going here for the past few years. Although, I often order the combo fried rice with oil sauce, sometimes I like to venture out of my comfort zone. The times I have, I've held no regrets. It often best to order the food to go. There are many things to love about this restaurant. A) They use fresh ingredients. The vegetables aren't over-cooked and aren't mushy like once-frozen vegetables are. They still have a crunch. The shrimp used is the large/jumbo variety, as well. B) The portions are great, especially for the price. Not that you'll want to, but you can easily split an order of Combo Fried rice. C) They can make you dish spicy, as you prefer. Most of their dishes are not spicy, or pretty mild. However you can ask them to kick up the spiciness on most of their dishes. D) The price is fair. For less than $10, you get a nice sized portion, an egg roll, and a fortune cookie. You also get two packets of soy sauce and two packets of duck sauce. Oil Chili is available upon request. E) Their egg rolls. I often skip the egg roll at most Chinese places because the egg rolls at this place have spoiled me. (Their Cheese Wontons (Crab Rangoon) are also pretty flavourful.) F) The lady working the front, whom I assume is the owner, may be a little harder to understand for some. (Not for me) However, I've have witnessed instances where she makes me feel good about supporting her business. If you're a regular she'll remember your name, and more often than not, she'll already know what you ordered. With that said, the downsides have more to do with the location, rather than the food. A) The building seems to be an old DQ building. As such, there isn't too much parking. B) Speaking of the parking, the lot isn't always in the best condition and can be full of potholes, or uneven repairs. (It depends on when, and how often you go.) C) If you order at the drive-thru, expect to be asked to park. Since the food takes a bit longer to prepare, often times if someone else arrives behind you, the owner will ask you to park, and they'll take your order out to you. If you call ahead, it'll often be ready by the time you arrive. D) They don't have a soda fountain, so they charge premium pricing for their Sodas, and refills are not free. (I really encourage you to get a Big Gulp from the 7-Eleven across the street, unless you're ordering tea.) E) It's pretty bright, due to the windows surrounding the restaurant, but it still seems a little dated. F) Cash Only. This business no longer accepts any other payment methods, than cash. Overall, I definitely recommend this place to get your Take-Out fix. They have good food, and it's made to order, so it's hot. The wait time can be a little longer on nights. I definitely encourage you to try this place, over the Panda Express down the street. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, and while it may not be "blow-your-mind Chinese" it's definitely worth the try. read more

Ordered sesame chicken food looks good comes with rice and a egg roll. Egg roll is ok tasting. Chicken is very big as it is breaded then covered with sauce and seeds it has a sweet taste but not very much flavor after that. The rice is also very bland and overall the foods not worth it if you ask me. read more

I consider myself a simple man. When I eat at egg roll in, simplicity is what's on the menu. I order my usual beef and broccoli with fried rice. The meat is beefy, the broccoli is fresh, and the rice goes so well with the meal. Add in the egg roll that comes with the meal and you've got yourself a combo! read more
