First time at this restaurant for breakfast. It has diner vibes even though it's at the local golf course. We ordered the Bacon Avocado Egg Benny and the Classic with bacon, waffle fries, eggs over easy. The quality of the food was solid, very fresh, very tasty, cooked to order. Our waitress was great, attentive, kept the coffee coming, and even offered us some waffle bites with homemade jam and strawberries as a complimentary "first timer" amuse bouche. Driving thru the country side enjoying the color if the fall leaves we stumbled on this restaurant in Centerburg. The restaurant is part of a golf course complex, and the Eggmann takes up maybe 3/5 of the building. It has a large dining room decorated in a very country style/crafty way. The views ofnthe golf course were nice, lots of windows it's very scenic. The tables were comfortable and the servers were nice. Just dont be in a hurry here as they (staff) move at their own pace. Lol. A bit slow to get our meal. It seems that their specialty is waffles. They looked really good. Actually, nearly 2/3 of the menu seems to involve a creative use of waffles. Not being in a waffle mood we both ordered the bacon avocado egg Benny. My husband paired it with a salad and I chose potato cubes. The salad was large for a side and my husband gave it thumbs up. The potato wedges were some of the best I have had and had enough for two people, to be honest. However the egg benny just didnt come together, imo. Here's my beef with it: is described as crispy bacon, ripe avocado, sautéed spinach, sunny side up eggs, house made hollandaise sauce on top of a toasted croissant. That all was correct. It seemed like it would work but it just didnt. My spinach and bacon were in the potatoes and not laying on the sandwich. The hollandaise sauce wasnt on top of my eggs like most Benedict. It was way under the eggs and laid in very sparse. Honestly, I could not even taste it. At first I thought the croissant was missing but then realized. Oh no, it was there -but just really cut super thin and of course, now soggy from being so thin and having the hollandaise right on top of it with a hot egg on top. Kind of mushy. Just didnt work.. For 14.75 a sandwich this was an utter disappointment as it just didnt come together. Tip: Skip it, Get the waffles. Dont think we will come back since we aren't waffle people. If we were- thats what we would stick to here. read more

This was all so good and we were so sad there was not enough room in our stomachs for the rest of our breakfast. My wife and I usually go out to lunch once a week. Our criteria for choosing a restaurant is a "local, non-chain restaurant" within about 15-20 miles from home. This week we tried Eggman's Eatery which is located at the Wyandot Golf Course. This was a truly enjoyable lunch. Eggman's is owned by 2 sisters and was originally located at the Table Rock Golf Course for 10 months before moving to Wyandot about 2 years ago. We golf at Wyandot frequently during the summer and I had seen the restaurant and had wanted to try it. On the day we were there, one sister was cooking and the other sister was handling hostess and waitress duties. We were greeted warmly. The service was terrific and the food was excellent. Waffles appear to be one of their specialties and everyone is served a complimentary waffle bite as an appetizer. It was great. My wife ordered a waffle dish and I went for the double smash-burger with fries. Our entrees were excellent. Service and food were both 5-star. I'll definitely be back. read more

Was on our way to Mohican State Park and needed a bite to eat so we stopped off at Eggmann's given the reviews we had seen. It was a great experience! The staff were attentive, the atmosphere was ok, but a unique touch was that their coffee cups were all unique which we liked. The food was incredible. I had the classic breakfast and the eggs were perfect and potatoes were well seasoned. My other friends got the waffle sandwich and the sausage and gravy. Both said they were good and both had the same compliments on the eggs. I can see this place being VERY busy when the golf season is in full swing. Will definitely be back. read more

OMG... This place is Awesome... It is really in a not easy to find location but it is worth finding. The service was good. The restaurant decor was simple but cute. The food was amazing. They start you out with a piece of this desert waffle (they had some fancy french name for it) which was delicious. Wifie had the turkey club which was well made with plenty of turkey and a greens salad. I chose there pick 2 waffles which were both banana based and unique. I prefer the peanut butter chocolate one but the were both very delicious. The price was very reasonable and the food was very high quality so this place is a win... The first time dining with Eggmann's at their original location I ordered the BLT K's way with avocado and an egg. The BLT was good. Waffle fries were solid. I ordered the mimosa flight, which was a really fun addition to my brunch. My boyfriend got the California burrito with black beans. The burrito definitely needed the addition of hot sauce. The coffee was delicious. Overall it was a really good experience. Recently, we dined at the new Wyandot golf course location. There are no longer cocktails offered on the menu, but I was told I could go to the golf course's pro shop to order a cocktail and bring it back to my table. The lady working the pro shop was super friendly and fun. She made me a vodka, orange juice, and pineapple juice concoction for only $5. To eat, I ordered the chicken salad croissant with waffle fries and my boyfriend got the chicken and waffle. The chicken salad is tasty and the croissant is nicely toasted. I forgot to add avocado to the order, which definitely would have been nice! The waffle fries are good. My boyfriend's chicken and waffle was a large portion. The sriracha flavor really came through in the waffle. The mashed potatoes were alright. The addition of hot sauce elevated the meal. The biggest difference to me is the atmosphere and energy of the new location. It's much quieter with less character. The removal of cocktails from the menu with the ability to go get a cocktail myself from a different location was a little strange. Breaking my own protocol here as I really only review BBQ joints on this account. But I had to throw some love to these gals because THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! Some of the best crispiest and flavorful waffles I've ever had! Great Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. Crazy Good Chili with Eggs and them little Waffle thingies you can dip into the chili like some kind of Nachos made from the Breakfast Gods! And I have no Idea how the made them sliced up Bananas with the Caramel coating but OMG! They even gave us a little complimentary waffle thingy (lack of a better word for them) when we sat down. Absoltuly out of this world good. I'm not from the area at all but I guarantee if I'm ever going back in that direction I'm stopping here on an empty stomach ready to tackle the Other Half of the menu! read more

I'm excited I finally got to try this restaurant in town. The food was amazing. I had the bacon and avocado Benedict with grits, and it was an interesting twist using the croissant. I really like the crispy, crunchiness of the croissants. I like my grits sweet and they were perfectly made. My sister got the biscuits and gravy and I had to try some of it and they were some of the best sausage gravy I have ever had. we had a fantastic server and the owner came out to greet us as well. Eggman's Eatery is a hidden gem just south of Centerburg, OH on Route 3/36. My wife and I stopped there for breakfast and what a treat it was. It is a family friendly atmosphere, great food, and the service was great too. The building is part of the Wyandot Golf Course so you have to look close to see the restaurant. My fiancé and I just had a wonderful experience at Eggmann's Eatery! Everything was delicious! They really have perfected the waffle! Their daily waffle donut was raspberry glaze with sliced almonds and it was crispy and soft at the same time. Just the right amount of sweetness. Then we got the fruit dip which they serve with fruit and waffle pieces. He got the turkey club and said it was definitely not your basic turkey club. It's next level. I got mix and match waffles, one savory (Eggstraordinary minus bacon) and one sweet (PB Delight minus chocolate). The flavors were so perfect together! I know it seems wrong to take food advice from someone who doesn't like bacon or chocolate, but trust me! This place is fantastic! We drove over 1/2 hour to get there, enjoyed the drive, ate our meal on the patio in the sunshine, watched the golfers, and just generally had a very pleasant late morning/afternoon! This place is absolutely amazing!! Great setting on a country road and part of a golf course. Great outdoor seating in warming months!! The food is always an issue though because I can never decide what to get due to all of it being fantastic!! They always start you off with a little palate teaser special of the day bite size waffle fixed a different way all the time. Always remarkable!! The waffles are a must, whether it's as a sandwich or as a base with other goodies stacked on top. Must recommend the Eggstraordinary or the Chicken & Waffle. Both will have you returning for more! Also a must is the BLT K's Way, plenty of beacon with an added avocado & egg. I hear the California Burrito is a must so that may be for next time. We have always had very friendly staff, who never leave you waiting for a thing. Eggman's is our new go to place, but the choosing what to get is the hard part of our visit! read more
