Lucky Charms and Thin Mint Iced Coffee was delicious!
Kristin L.

The food was made fresh, the service was friendly and quick. Thin Mint iced Coffee was delicious! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, Seasonal decor was adorable! And the mix of new and antique items, many from local vendors, available for purchase was great! This is a Must Stop Shop!

It's a great gathering place for friends and family. Some of my high school class mates are meeting there monthly.

Walk in and take a seat any where. Once you are seated the server will come over with menus. Our…read moreserver was genuinely friendly and excited that it was our first time in. She mentioned their hamburgers were the best. I ordered the grilled cheese and ham, my brother got the hamburger. When our meals came out they looked like things you could easily make at home BUT....they were DELICIOUS! The sandwiches were really good and came with a side a crinkle fries. They have an ice cream parlor too. Sadly they were waiting on the truck shipment the day we were there and only had chocolate and strawberry available, how very boring. It is alright I didn't really need the ice cream. The place is small but the socially distanced tables were almost all full except for one when we walked in. A super cute little diner in Morrow County with yummy food.

On my continuing drive-about breakfast adventures, I stumbled into Edison Depot -- part restaurant,…read morepart coffee shop, part ice cream parlor, and 100% small-town charm. First impression? The place was incredibly clean -- the kind of clean where you almost hesitate to set down your coffee mug because you don't want to mess up the shine. Inside, the locals were holding court: talking crops, local happenings, and laughing like this was their morning news network. It felt less like eavesdropping and more like I'd been drafted into the Edison Breakfast Club. I went with the Country Fried Steak and scrambled eggs (the waitress must've sensed I needed backup protein). The food was solid, classic diner fare -- hearty enough to fuel a day of farming, driving, or just another round of local gossip. The real MVP? The service. My waitress treated coffee refills like an Olympic relay -- the bottom of my cup never once saw daylight. For the tribe, I ordered a breakfast bowl, a half order of biscuits and gravy, some bacon, and even oatmeal to keep things balanced. The portions were generous, and it all packed up neatly for the road. Pro Tip: Don't just come hungry, come curious. Sit back, sip your coffee, and you'll leave knowing more about Edison crops than you ever planned. Verdict: Edison Depot is the kind of place where breakfast isn't just a meal -- it's a community event with eggs, gravy, and unlimited coffee on the side.

And the owner Jennifer makes sure you feel welcomed and loved with the service she offers to Every customer. I will always recommend anyone stopping in for the amazing coffee and food.

My experience working here was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, the negative reviews I…read moreread before starting turned out to reflect many of my own experiences. On my very first day, I was served rancid iced coffee that made me sick enough to call off the following day. After I had coworkers try it and confirm something was wrong, the coffee was dumped out. That should have been my first major red flag. I also had concerns about sanitation practices, including drinking water coming from the dishwashing sink and a lack of clean towels and rags available for cleaning. Customer service was another concern, as some staff members seemed to lack basic customer service skills. My final experience was especially disappointing. On my last day, the owner's son's 18-year-old girlfriend made a personal comment about my appearance, saying that my eyebrows were making her mad. The following day, rather than taking my concern seriously and reviewing the security cameras that were directly in view of the incident, I felt the situation was dismissed and that I was being made to question what I knew had happened. To make matters worse, I was not paid for my final day of work. It took several weeks to get my paycheck issue addressed, and after deliberately waiting an additional week to collect what I was expecting to be two checks, I received only one. The way this was handled, along with the owner's response to the situation, left me feeling that there was a lack of accountability. I did meet some genuinely nice coworkers and customers, and the kitchen staff did a nice job with the food. Those were positive parts of my experience. Unfortunately, the overall working environment, sanitation concerns, treatment of employees, and problems with payroll overshadowed the good. I would encourage management to take employee concerns seriously, improve sanitation practices, ensure staff are equipped to maintain cleanliness, strengthen customer service, and make sure employees are paid correctly and on time. Based on my experience, there is significant room for improvement. Looking back, I wish I had paid closer attention to the existing reviews before accepting the job.
