To refill my drink, I had to get up and go to the counter and was ignored by the young girls chatting with a boy. I was only acknowledged when I said "excuse me." And as the young girl got the pitcher out to pour my tea, she turned and talked to the boy again making me wait before filling my glass 2/3 full. We again had to get up to request our check. There was only 1 other table with people so they were not busy. Clueless on how to serve customers. Coffee? Maybe. Food? No I ordered the breakfast skillet. Two small biscuits, with sausage gravy ( average) 1 scrambled egg and bacon ( looked like less than 1 strip crumbled on top. $10. I expected more. Husband ordered a BLT on wheat. Again nothing special. Minimal bacon. Came with a side of chips. They appeared to be the little bits left at the bottom of the bag. Disappointing. We came here based on yelp reviews. I ordered a latte and was told they could not make any lattes today. I changed my order to an Americano and was told they could not make an Americano because they can't make lattes. An Americano is not a latte. I change my order to a regular coffee with half-and-half. After waiting for about five minutes, I was presented with a 100% empty carton of half-and-half. I asked if they had anything else because I could not use the Coffeemate sweetened pump creamer they had at the condiment station as I am a type one diabetic. I was told they did not have anything. This is the best unexpected coffee house in the universe. Okay but seriously it is incredible coffee that you can sip on for hours without it getting deluded because of coffee ice cube technology. I came here based on Yelp! reviews. The decor is fine for reading/working while drinking your coffee. I can't review the coffee because there is a $5 minimum to use a card. My large latte was $4.25. I don't put flavorings in my coffee. I don't know if that would've brought the price to the required minimum. I didn't have cash-I very rarely have cash-so I wasn't able to order. This is almost 2020. Businesses need to recognize that cards, Apple Pay, and a plethora of other options are replacing cash for many people! Now I have to find a starbucks~~bummer!!! read more

Did you ever play "restaurant" when you were a kid? Where you set up a little table, write a basic menu with crayons, then cook up lunch for your sibling or friend. That's what this place feels like. Really lacking in the culinary skills here. To start, my large cappuccino was about 1 inch of coffee followed by 7 inches of tepid milk, then served in the biggest styrofoam cup i have ever seen. Come on. Get some cute cappuccino mugs for those who are eating in. It's the little things. Lunch for me was a small chef salad. It was definitely small and had, maybe, one slice of deli turkey on it cut up into little pieces. No egg, nothing to make it stand out. I was hungry when I left. My daughter, who is gluten free ( there are two items on the entire menu she could order), had an omelet. And that is all that she got on her plate. An omelet. Not a slice of melon, no yummy seasoned potatoes, nothing. Eggs. There is no attention to detail here regarding food presentation. My dad and his wife ordered panninis which looked unimpressive. I picture melty cheese oozing out of the sides of a perfectly toasted sandwich. Not here. Also, No sides included with sandwiches here, just a sandwich on a plate. Thats it. Did I mention this took 40 minutes to prepare? I guess when you are in a blink of a town, you can do what you want, but I wouldn't waste my time here again. And that is sad, because It has so much potential. The owners here would do well to check out the Morgan House in Dublin, Ohio to see how a shop and lunch/tea room is supposed to run. read more

This place is downright adorable. Housed right on Main Street (on street parking is available directly in front) in one of the typical historical buildings in the row - the front is a quaint antiques shop and the back is a small restaurant/coffee shop. Due to the impending Christmas season - the decor was decidedly holiday inspired - and the china our lunch was served on Christmas themed as well! Our waitress knew everyone in the shop - so service was a bit slow but in a way that let you know she'd pay attention to your every word and that your dining experience would not be rushed - and actually enhanced the experience. We had half panini's (which were amazing and featured their 'special sauce') and Mac & cheese (which was reminiscent of the kind my Grandmother made - hearty and comforting). The dining area walls are decorated with whimsical and clever joking placards with funny sayings that give you plenty to look at - and we browsed the antiques while waiting for our coffee (they carry an impressive artisan line). All in all - perfect for a quaint lunch or breakfast - seating is limited but well worth the wait! read more
