The pastry menu is amazing. Signature biscuit is legit!

What a great gem of a coffee shop. I stopped in on a whim on my way from Columbus to OSU Mansfield for a work event. The prices are LOW, the quality is HIGH and the people are incredibly friendly. I had a large latte and their signature biscuit with their strawberry jam. The latte was on par with Starbucks. The signature biscuit made in house is amazing. If I'm ever back through here I'm coming just for that biscuit well done

Not far off I-71 between Columbus and Akron Nickel and Bean, a former general store, is a destination for coffee lovers and coffee shop explorers. The spacious rooms are sweet spots to kick back with a latte, be inspired, and build community that impacts the future: beams of light reflecting of exposed-brick walls, a community table salvaged from used local materials, hand crafted tables, modern lighting, cozy corners, and a community wall. And the walls do speak. Pictures of the past hang on the walls of the homey study room opposite the book-lined shelves telling the story of a former Lexington that inspires and informs the present. In the community room hangs the original door to the general store that once occupied this space and served the Lexington community. If that door could tell the story of the many members of Lexington who frequented the general store! Much more can be said about their wood-beamed ceiling, dedication to serving excellent coffee for all types of people, and love for all who visit. If you are a group of friends meeting up, a single looking for place to read a book or work on an assignment, a couple needing an intimate yet public space for conversation, someone wanting to enjoy a cold coffee on a sunny day on a patio then Nickel and Bean is the place.

Drove up today from Columbus, OH and it was worth it. Best Egg Sandwich!!! Great coffee, pastries, and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy your coffee and food.

"A coffee shop fit for a queen"! Nickel and Bean is quite the opposite of your traditional hipster coffee hangout. Think- white marble counters, elevated cake plates topped with sweets, coins adorning the counter wall. This sweet shop transitioned an older building into a eloquent, new-age, modern retreat. Simply lovely. The baristas were an added bonus- friendly, professional, and handsome!

Stopped by while heading up 71 very Cute little place about a five minute detour. From the freeway. Great customer service , and smooth tasting high quality coffee highly recommend :). Also, try the tea cookies if you get a chance!

The Bundt , a traditional European delicacy known as Gugelhupf is baked in pans , circular in shape , but of varied designs . The curlicues and ringlets Pressed into the tin mold provide the decorative Features notable in the finished product . The distinctive tin mold was developed by a Nordic company called BUNDT , and was popular through-out the decades of the 1950s and 1960s The local Eatmore Company offers a variety of interesting flavors of these specialty cakes , and as a result has attracted a faithful customer base who return as frequently as necessary in order to satisfy their cravings . An array of Cookies and candies round out a menu guaranteed to satisfy the " sweet tooth " of young and old alike . An interesting idea , if the facility were a bit larger, Would be to offer a local " high tea" in the afternoon on particular days . One could easy visualize a gathering of grandmothers , with granddaughters in tow , taking advantage of the opportunity for a " ladies" outing .... a day of shopping , or taking in a movie , followed by a stop at the Eatmor for tea and cakes ! Heck , a group of gal friends could even use this type of facility for their Weekly or monthly gatherings after card parties .
