    Items from the buffet

Food was good- tastes like homemade not artificial or "junk". Only downfall is no soup on the lunch buffet- and $38 for two people without the drinks is a little pricey but overall if you want homemade comfort food theirs can't be beat.

Amish style cooking and you can order off the menu or get the buffet. You can also choose from just the cold/salad buffet or the hot buffet with various meats. The restaurant is on the lower level along with a separate bakery. The upper lever is a store with various gift items.

A little buffet action. Don't judge me

Where My Wallet Got Lighter and My Belly Got Heavier Some people plan their meals. I? I swerve into them--which is exactly how I ended up at Der Dutchman, tired, hungry, and just vulnerable enough to commit carb-related financial irresponsibility. I hit the buffet like a man on a mission: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, buttery noodles, succotash (because lima beans deserve love too), and two dinner rolls that could moonlight as couch cushions. And then, because I'm a generous leader of the tribe, I buffet'd to-go. Pro tip: they weigh it by the pound (~$9/lb), so load up like you're prepping for hibernation. My take-home tray looked like a Thanksgiving greatest hits album: glazed ham, stuffing, more fried chicken, mashed potatoes, noodles, and enough comfort food to soothe a small village. I also tossed in donuts--because I love my people and I'm not a monster. Four Long Johns (2 peanut butter, 2 chocolate), 1 apple fritter, 1 cinnamon twist, and, for absolutely no reason other than pure Midwestern chaos, a bottle of peanut butter sauce. The verdict? Stuffing was a little bland, but that's on me--I forgot the gravy, which is basically edible magic. Once you fix that tactical error, it's golden. The tribe devoured the rest like it was a reward for surviving the week. The donuts? Legendary. The kind that make you want to text your dentist in advance. The coffee? It was the hero of the last leg of my trip--bold, hot, and just enough caffeine to keep me from merging into a cornfield. Der Dutchman: Come for the buffet, stay for the donuts, and leave wondering how your food bill totaled the price of a tank of gas--but with way fewer regrets.

Delicious Amish cooking. The baked goods are fantastic! Love the gift store on the second floor.

Home cooking without messsing up your kitchen. Great fried chicken! The sides are all amazing as well. Especially the noodles!

It took them over an hour to seat me. Then a lot of the food was empty. The people were absolutely nice.

Service was fantastic. They were very accommodating and were able to provide my nephew with a high chair. Ambiance was very neat. Eating and having a nice view of the golf course feels very swanky for little ol' Mansfield, OH. I would happily come back as everything on their normal menu looks great!

Well, look like a house, not really a building Went inside, the place is not busy, there is a bar seating, the girl in the bar is very nice, very friendly I seated, the menu has burgers, pasta, steak, typical American restaurant menu, nothing special I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, I know, in American restaurant? lol Well, I want some noodle, I think is $14, added grill chicken for another $6 When it come out, the portion is very small, very disappointed, even the chicken is small, very dry Overall, the food I'm giving 3 out of 10, service is great If you in the area, you should order the burger, they probably do better job

She was doing many things so I wasn't positive what I had seen - she assured me it was regular. I continue on my trip, and after 30 minutes or so I realize no caffeine effect upon me. I called & spoke to the manager Bruce Zay, and was told I couldnt get a refund unless I brought the cup back - I was already 45 minutes away. I asked for him to at least speak to the brunette girl in pigtails that made the coffee and explain to her to be more careful, & "Bruce Zay" (if that's even his real name) said "oh? So you're instructing me how to speak to my employees?" He also pretended that there was static and he couldn't hear me speak - I had been on the phone all morning, and no one had complained of a bad connection. I asked to speak to his manager (Missy Plues), and in fact - she was even more rude than he was. At this point, I was very irritated, and she actually hung up on me. I might seem like a total Karen at this point, but have you ever tried functioning with four hours sleep with no caffeine in your system? I rest my case. To add a final nail to the coffin, I actually went so far as to contact Dunkin' Donuts corporate (it was a long drive, lol) and they promised me a call back - I have never gotten one. I swear this, and I swear this for the rest of my days - unless I absolutely have no other option, I will never visit another Dunkin' Donuts again For my weekly donut treats to my employees - or for ANY coffee runs whatsoever. That ends up being $30 a week x 52 weeks per year, times, however many years my company carries out the Friday donut tradition. You do the math.
