I wanted to go to a local spot while in town. Third way was the move today. Packed house for the…read morelocal business on this Saturday! Standard coffee offerings. Drip and pour over. The pour over would have taken a bit of time, so I opted for the drip with oat milk and sugar. The girl who mine and my brother's orders was very friendly. She let us take a smell of the coffee beans from Columbia; unique scent. Thankfully it tasted much better! The drinks came out quick and are reasonably priced. The wasn't much indoor seating, outside, there was more. Less people today, the weather was not too great, so we took it to go. And again, inside area was packed with little room. A guy was actually walking his two dogs and was going through the line on foot. Not something on the bingo card, but hats off to Third Way for accommodating. And me being me, I forgot my water bottle and they kept it behind the counter when I came back to get it later. They didn't answer the phone or return my message, but a small place, small staff, I can see how it might have slipped the mind. My brother lives nearby, was a bit hesitant on the area, but we were fine. The parking lot could use some pot holes filled but, that isn't why you come here. Coffee is smooth and freshly brewed. Awesome find, thank you Yelp reviews!!

Most of the patrons seemed to be chatting with each other and yet it was a comfortable noise level. I ordered a Cafe Mocha and it was nice and delicious. My husband ordered the drip coffee. We shared a pastry and it was very tasty. We will definitely come back if we are on the west side.

Super cute decor. Very comfy and homey feel. Love the way it's decorated. The girls behind the counter were really nice and even offered us a free double of espresso in our drinks because they were close to closing and didn't want to waste it. Love that. Lots of unique flavors. A good selection of sugar free flavors as well. I got the Nook Mocha. It's white chocolate and caramel. Wow it's good. I got it iced. My husband got the Buckeye latte hot. Love that they have peanut butter. Not every coffee shop does. We will definitely be back!

BaldWhiteGuyReviews - Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17nWEU5cRx/The Nook Coffee Bar…read more The Nook Coffee Bar 25 S. Main Street, London, Ohio www.thenookcoffeebar.com (coming soon) Facebook: The Nook Coffee Bar Rolled into London, Ohio at an ungodly hour because life is a series of poor decisions and good coffee opportunities. I hadn't finished my first cup of the day (don't judge), hadn't eaten, and was operating at about 12% human. The Nook was open, so I went in like a man on a mission: caffeinate or collapse. They caffeinated. Mission accomplished. Arrival & Parking Street parking: it's a thing. You might snag a spot right out front, or you might circle like a raccoon looking for snacks. Either way, bring patience and a little optimism -- the coffee is worth the mild cardio. #ParkOrPerish #CityBusiness The Vibe Downtown charm done right. The Nook leans into the building's history without turning into a dusty museum exhibit. Plenty of seating, friendly faces, and that cozy hum of people pretending to be productive on laptops. If you're the type who needs free Wi‑Fi and a place to look busy on a Tuesday morning, this is your place. If you're Gen X and still baffled by café culture -- same. I'm baffled, but I'm also sipping and smiling. #GetAJob Menu & Coffee Credentials They've got everything: mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, Americanos, Café Au Lait (No idea what this is, "bless you" appropriate response?), teas, matcha, hot steamers (mysterious but intriguing ), espresso shots, plant milks (umm what?), cold foam, and even frozen coffee for the adventurous. I went classic: plain black coffee -- hot, bold, and exactly what civilization ordered this morning. Freshly ground beans matter, people. #CoffeeSnob This coffee reminded me that society functions when there is hot coffee. Amen. Iced Coffee & Modern Mysteries Iced coffee is a lifestyle now. Personally, if my coffee's cold, I either reheat it or toss it out, but if you like your caffeine with a chill vibe, they've got you covered. #MicrowaveyOneMillionTimes Frozen coffee? That's a thing too. I'm old, but I'm willing to learn. Maybe. #NoThanks The Scone Situation They don't bake in-house -- Redhead and Rising Bakery supplies the goods. I couldn't find them on Facebook (social media mystery), so I gave them a shout-out. Redhead and Rising, are you social? Maybe they need a BaldHype Social - Social media makeover? #shamelessplug #iknowaguy I grabbed a White Chocolate Peppermint Scone and my large, boring Generation X black coffee. The coffee was on point. Smooth! The scone had been sitting a bit #HockeyPuck, so I nuked it for a few seconds, and it came back to life like a pastry phoenix. #ItsAlive White chocolate + peppermint = holiday cheer in pastry form. Fresh from the oven would've been ideal, but reheated? Still delicious. If you're a scone snob (guilty), fresh wins -- but this one had personality and flavor. I am forever spoiled by the soon-to-be-a-memory freshly made - still warm, Butterscotch Scone from Two Scoops of Sugar in Washington, CH. #MissItAlready Final Verdict Highly impressed. Great atmosphere, excellent coffee that respects the sanctity of hot beverages, and baked goods with real potential. The Nook is the kind of place you stop at when you need caffeine, free Wifi, comfort, and a little downtown charm. Tell them BaldWhiteGuy sent you -- I'll accept the imaginary high-fives. #LikeFollowShare Drop your favorite The Nook Coffee Bar item below and a pic if you've got one -- I'll try it, judge it, and probably make a face that's 60% approval and 40% sarcasm. #GiveThemSomeLove #SupportLocal ‍‍‍‍ - 4 of 5 Bald Heads - down a head for the lack of freshly made scones. #BaldWhiteGuyReviews #TheNookCoffeeBar #LondonOhio #CoffeeThatMatters #SconeSearch #FreshIsBest #SupportLocal #TwoScoopsOfSugar
