I love corndogs, and was a little leery of how this would turn out, but it's perfect: dense, slightly sweet cornbread donut; excellent sausage; "frosting" that's not overly sweet and complements both. We also got raspberry chocolate, blueberry churro, and creme brulee donuts. I know we won't be disappointed. There's a lot of hype about this place, and they deserve it. The food is great, the service is great, the price is reasonable for the quality, and there are lots of options. They also had a couple of juices they make there I think. It wasn't as sweet as I personally prefer, but that's because I'm used to donut shops that make their chocolate donuts extra sugary. If you like a more balanced chocolate flavor, you'll probably enjoy it. The Brown Butter Brûlée French Cruller was my favorite. It was light and airy with buttery, caramelized notes. I actually think it would be even better warmed up with a cup of coffee--it reminded me more of an after-dinner dessert than just a donut. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Between the friendly customer service, the unique flavors, and the charming atmosphere, I'd definitely come back to see what seasonal flavors they have next.

They said usually plain glazed donuts and long John's can be dry, and they felt theirs had a good consistency and wasn't too sweet. However, my husband prefers Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts over this, and said since they're cheaper and closer he wouldn't drive to Jeff's to order them. They have a variety of fun flavors such as fruity pebbles, peanut and Oreo.
