They are now open Fridays too, and have some state-fair-inspired flavors, and we were nearby so we made sure to come in. Street parking in front but that gets tight at peak. No line at 1030am on a Friday. Full case of some of their standards plus the fair options. We got a corndog donut, of course: cornbread donut, Hungarian Butcher hot dogs, and a sweet mustard drizzle (plus some extra in a cup.) It was outstanding. I love corndogs, and was a little leery of how this would turn out, but it's perfect: dense, slightly sweet cornbread donut; excellent sausage; "frosting" that's not overly sweet and complements both. We also got raspberry chocolate, blueberry churro, and creme brulee donuts. I know we won't be disappointed. There's a lot of hype about this place, and they deserve it. The food is great, the service is great, the price is reasonable for the quality, and there are lots of options. They also had a couple of juices they make there I think. I stopped by Rose Dough Donuts for the first time and had a great experience. It's a small shop with a cute, cozy seating area and a fun, colorful atmosphere. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my questions and explain the different flavors. I tried the Chocolate Old Fashioned and the Brown Butter Brûlée French Cruller. The Chocolate Old Fashioned had a rich cocoa flavor and a dense, buttery texture. It wasn't as sweet as I personally prefer, but that's because I'm used to donut shops that make their chocolate donuts extra sugary. If you like a more balanced chocolate flavor, you'll probably enjoy it. The Brown Butter Brûlée French Cruller was my favorite. It was light and airy with buttery, caramelized notes. I actually think it would be even better warmed up with a cup of coffee--it reminded me more of an after-dinner dessert than just a donut. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Absolutely delicious donuts! Very soft and fresh. You won't find some of these unique flavors anywhere else in Columbus! I ordered the Apple Pie, Cold Brew Lemonade, Blueberry Glazed, and Blueberry Lemonade donuts. The Blueberry Lemonade was the best, but they're all spectacular and smell incredible. You really can't go wrong with any flavor. Since I was a first timer, the staff was helpful in explaining each type of donut and suggesting what to order based on preferences. I'm only taking a star off because they were quite expensive. I understand that these are specialty donuts and the menu is rotating, but it's hard to justify spending almost $15 for two donuts. On our visit to this cozy donut shop, the staff was extremely friendly and patient as we looked through the unique donut options. I settled for the Chocolate Old Fashioned and the Brown Butter Brulee donuts. I'm ashamed that I only have this measly photo to share, but it's because we inhaled a dozen donuts in record time. The key lime donut was the star for me; cakey and citrusy with a feather-light cream on top. It's the stuff dreams are made of. I don't know which donuts everybody else ate because they were gone so fast, but we all fought over this one and ended up dividing it into little bite sized pieces and it was delicious. read more

My new favorite donut shop is so pretty, with a great female staff, and there is parking out back or street. I saw the beautiful donuts on their site and I made the trip Saturday morning, arriving at their 9:30 opening. The parking out back was full due to the farmer's market, but I got a spot on the side street. I'm always up for Pistachio and Lavender flavors. They are quite stunning, as is the rose/pink decor and non-food items. Their donuts are not overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. I also got a Coffee con Panna to go. Great flavor. was in town for other things so now I'm here pregaming and thinking this couple of blocks is how I'd like to remember Columbus... pulled off the main drag and literally into an open spot next to private parking. got out and was approached by a young lady complimenting me on the baja but taking her leave as we got to the bakery. I got inside and took a minute to drag an eye over the offerings and chat up the proprietrix before settling (and I use that term loosely) on a raspberry old fashioned, a pineapple mango (rhymes with banjo) and some edible art that was tart like nobody's business and very nearly hurt to eat because, well, you know... cherry. these treats are donuts primarily by definition: round cakes of happiness with a hole in the middle. icing is as icing does and toppings go on top but the cakes are rich and moist with intense but well-balanced flavour and textures: the pineapple mango is sweet but subdued and a little lumpy, raspberry is gritty just like God intended, the cherry is like a boot to the head - but in a good way - with an artfully applied dollop of creme on top for good measure. lovely shop, lovely people, lovely business. treats here are a little spendy but the distance between price and value is not so large. An update is in order for the absolutely adorable new storefront right along High St in Clintonville. It's gorgeous and a great setting for all of the tasty donuts! You can still do preorders via the website, but it is limited, and they offer a text service if you want to check in before you head over to see if they still have the donut you wanted in stock if you miss the preorder opportunity. As before, the flavors rotate and you can get on the mailing list to get those delivered or check the website before you head over. Our most recent visit was definitely for the annual Christmas flavors, a family favorite here. We got our traditional fix of the Little Debbie Christmas Trees and the Pink Peppermint Brioches, plus opted to try the Christmas Spice Cruller. As always, the donuts are delicious and beautiful! Tried for first time, with Crueler and OldFashioned. Were they flavorful, yes. Unique elevated flavors, yes. The Crueler was better IMO. However, at 5.50-7 per donut, which were regular size, I question the viability long-term of this business with this prime location and other gourmet donuts not far down the street. Something I tried once, doubt I'll repeat. If pricing was in the $3-4 donut, I think they would have more repeat customers. Staff was nice. read more
