Suppose to be a Japanese fluffy pancakes. $15 for this mess.

This place deserves 0 star..... the worst pancake. Expensive horrible pancakes. See photo, it looks nasty. Tastes just like a cheap sponge cake. Paid $15 for this Mess! When you pay by credit card, look carefully, they set an extra 18% tips on the machine. Not to mention bad service and we had to asked 2x for forks!!

Affordable delicious soufflé pancake. There is limited seating. It does however take quite a while (15-30 minutes) to make but you are told ahead of time.

It's located inside of the little food court. There are couple small tables in the back but expect to eat them standing if it's busy. The soufflé pancake is very jiggly, soft and very airy inside. You can even taste the eggs. I had the boba flavor one it taste really good. My only complain is that it takes 30mins which is quite long. Pro tip tho, order here and get something else to eat then come back.

3.5 The line and wait can get pretty long on the weekend since it takes some time to make. I had the original maple syrup souffle pancake and the banana chocolate souffle pancake. I wanted the original egg waffle, but they misunderstood me during ordering. Oh, well. Next time. We waited about half an hour for ours. The wait can be between 15-30 minutes and seating in the mini mall is very limited, so we took ours to go. The souffles were good but I don't think it's worth the price. The souffle is very soft and has a plain cake taste. It definitely needs the flavor and sweetness from the cream. I liked the original maple syrup one and wasn't a fan of the banana. The maple syrup cream on the original was very good. I didn't like the chocolate flavored cream of the banana one. I would come again to try their egg waffles.

These egg pancakes were warm, fluffy, and filled with the perfect amount of filling. One of the egg pancakes wasn't as fresh and warm as the others. The pancakes do take time to be made, but it's worth the wait for a fresh egg pancake. There's conveniently some seating in front of this shop, and there's not too many people who sit there.

Ate here today for a sweet tooth with my mom. I had brought and ate the triple chocolate egg bubble waffle. It was extremely good and delicious. The service there was also attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose something to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

$11.98 for a strawberry and blueberry pancake after tax. We came on a weekday. No seating, but no line on a weekday afternoon either. The cream wasn't like whipped cream; it tasted sour like greek yogurt but I liked it. The fluffy pancake was like castella and while it did have an eggy taste, it wasn't as much as I'd expected. I wish they had an ice cream option for the pancake, but if the ice cream place across the aisle had been open, I would've gotten a scoop from there instead.

Excellent souffle pancakes made fresh!! Place your order and come back in 15-20mins (sometimes faster) but these babies are worth the wait. I would advise against takeaway option as they just won't be as fresh when you get home. Something about the souffle part is very very real. These are always light and fluffy and the perfect sweetness. Go here when you're feeling down and need a pick me up! The have a small table and seating for you meditate while you wait. When ready, dig in! I promise these will be gone faster than the time it took them to make it!

Came here to try the tiramisu pancake. It was sweet and soft. The creams make the flavour more delicious. The pancake is a little different from the menu design. There are 2 seats to enjoy. Sometimes, there would be many people. People can write notes on a sticky note and paste onto the wall, to review how good the dessert is.

I have been here at least 3 or 4 times. Every time I visit Flushing m, I would always come here for their waffles. They are by far the best I have eaten. I would jo doubt give them a 5 stars. However, my most recent visit got me a bit disappointed. Their original egg waffles aren't as crunchy as before with a bit soggy or the chewy texture in the middle. I felt like they slightly downgraded their quality this time. On top of that, i ordered their egg puffs, which I pretty much regret that. None of my family members like it. I got egg tart, chocolate, matcha, and bubble cream. Maybe this one just isn't my taste. Hopefully next time they can get back to their original quality on their egg waffles.

The booth.

4 Stars here on Yelp and I'm not entirely sure if it's quite that but no shade. Small booth inside the address, they offer several kinds of the egg pancake balls, and their take on a taiyaki via an egg shaped snack that's battered and cooked with various fillings inside. They are a small shop and appear to have 1 machine, so it does take some time for an order to be made. In our case, 2 different types of balls took about 15 minutes. These are essentially pancake batter cooked on the waffle maker. Crispy outside, soft pancakey insides. I remember these first making a wave in the US via Boston's Chinatown back in the late 90s, early 2000s. Flushing doesn't have very many spots for these snacks which is probably the reason for its popularity and ratings. Nothing bad for what it is. But it is what it is. Nothing amazing or crazy innovative. Just some good little snacks if this is your sort of thing.

Walk past YiFang, Chinatown Ice Cream Factory and Legend Chicken to get to Eggcellent Souffle Pancake! I got there when there was no one waiting so I was quoted a 15 min wait time for the Original. I took mine to go and it held up well! I was worried the whipped cream would melt but it didn't! The pancake was soft and tasted better than your average pancake ($10) and definitely tastes way better together with the whipped cream. I liked how the pancake was soft and also a bit creamy in the middle. A great spot in this hallway of snack spots!

I ordered some egg waffles for my mom, she used to love the lil egg cakes from the OG Chinatown cart decades ago. These are pretty pricey in comparison .. but what isn't expensive nowadays $4.50 for the original and $6 for the triple chocolate. I'm not a fan of soufflés of any kind even from fancy restaurants that cost $25+ so I didn't bother trying their egg soufflé pancake. They really never taste as good as they make out to be..but these egg waffles were good, especially if you don't like really sweet desserts..The chocolate one was not too sweet. Better quality than I expected. Too bad we ate them a hr later. Would've been a lot better warm and crispy. My mom loved the reg. egg waffles, a lot more than the croffles I got her.. I would definitely come back and try them one more time for myself.

We opted to sit outside but what was nice about that is that their walls are made of glass so we could still see inside and people watch while still enjoying the fresh outdoors. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. We told her we ate already and just wanted drinks and maybe dessert. She took our order and we did end up ordering their vanilla flan and their chocolate cake flan. Both were delicious. Later on, I asked our waitress if I can sing and immediately she encourage me to come in and told the DJ which song I wanted and they handed me the mic. The people in the restaurant was awesome as they cheer me on as I sang Vivir mi Vida by Mark Anthony. I definitely would say to give this place a try. Great local restaurant in the neighborhood, where you can have fun without venturing into the city. Love it!

Concha 2.0/5.0: This classic bread was a bit of a dissapointment, as I expected way more flavor from the craggly and creviced topping which did not have much flavor. The bread itself was a tad bland and dry, the later probably due to me not eating the bread until the following day. Danish style bread (Chamuco) 3.0/5.0: I think this Danish looking bread is probably a Chamuco (after searching the internet), and it was just okay. The small custard filling was decent tasting having a slight creaminess and sweetness, but I wish there was more of it used. The bread itself had a nice eggy (think challah) flavor, but as with the Concha, a tad dry. Again, this could be due to me eating it the following day. Sugar-topped Bread (El Volcan) 5.0/5.0: Searching the internet for Mexican bread descriptions and comparing it to the what I purchased, I believe what I bought was a El Volcan bread. It had a slightly crumbly and dry scone-like texture. Its flavor was quite interesting, too, having a distinct brown sugar like taste, which was contrasted by the topping of white sugar on top. I really enjoyed this bread and would definitely buy it again. Considering the plethora of breads available, Veyta's is certainly worth another visit if I'm in the area.

They started us off with a croissant on the house, which was pretty good. Nice attention to detail as it was served with a heart-shaped side of butter. And it had a great flavor - chicken was nice and juicy. Natalie was our server, and was very attentive and friendly throughout our time here. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, Natalie and the manager brought us some cookies on the house to take home. Nothing but praise to be sung about this spot - I hear they're looking into possibly incorporating live music next. Will definitely be back - two thumbs up!
