The 1st fluffy Japanese pancake place to hit NYC!! It's a small stand located in the back of the new food court that also houses Yifang and Flushing Ice Cream Factory. When you order the pancake, the girl straight up tells you that they take a while to make (~15 mins), which we were completely fine with since we passed the time checking out the other food stands. We got the creme brulee pancake and I was very impressed by the texture and flavor. It literally tastes like you're eating a soft cloud. The custard and cream on the side added the perfect amount of sweetness to the pancake. Some reviews say that the center is too undercooked but ours was cooked perfectly. They must have learned from their mistakes and perfected their pancake cooking technique. Much respect. All of the pancakes cost around $9-10 but I think that's ok since this store is the only one of its kind in NYC (at least for now). Would definitely recommend giving this place a try! read more

Small stall in the back of same building as Yi Fang bubble tea. Fairly new and looks very clean but wait is anywhere from 15-30 mins. I waited 25mins. It's definitely on the pricey side but when you think about how much Spot Dessert charges, it's not terrible. Taste wise it's just OK. It reminds me of the plain Chinese bread that is similarly airy and fluffy but not as jiggly. Toppings were good quality as well and they give you plenty but doubt I would return given price point and taste. read more

This is my first time trying egg souffle. I understand it's made to order but it took forever.... I wish they will be more efficient with the process so it will be a shorter wait. read more

The pancake was really good ngl, but it's pricy. The tiramisu order only comes with 1 pancake. 5 stars for the pancake itself though. Everything was made from scratch so it took like 20-30min to make. read more

I got the regular pancake and it looks fluffy but it can be better. When I poke inside the two pancakes split apart. Also, my pancake was cold not even warI don't know why inside is wet. Doesn't taste like the one in Japan I've tried. read more

Extremely fluffy and delectable soufflé pancakes. Very popular on social media right now. The wait time is about 15-20 minutes because they make each one fresh. read more

5/5 a rare rating from me. You don't know a fluffy pancake till you have a soufflé pancake. It's really that good. Why? The quality of ingredients and the ladies take great care in making this comfort food for yah. It takes 20 minutes to make. So order it... go food crawl or eat your brunch outside and come back for dessert. No pic I wolfed it down. Looks just like the pictures on their menu. read more

very yummy souffle pancake! we were originally going to order the milk tea one with boba but they were out of boba that day which kinda sucked. we opted for the tiramisu, it was very fluffy and flavorful! the pancake was only $10 , and it was well worth the price! the ladies working there were very nice ! will definitely eat again next time i'm in town! read more

I'm thrilled they were open and staff were friendly. I had the crème brûlée soufflé for takeaway. It was really good and fluffy. The carmelized sugar crust was worth the wait since they make it fresh to order read more

Ordered two egg puffs and a souffle, they all tasted excellent. Egg puffs were still crunchy and the green tea taste is really prominent.

Please note that this review dates before COVID. Initially, I was trying to find a place that sells soufflé pancakes, as only a few within NYC, let alone Queens sell this Japanese version of the pancake. I was fortunate enough to find this place, in a little food stall with the Flushing Ice Cream Factory in the same place. Despite being tucked away in a very small food court, the soufflé pancakes were good, but the price including tax was almost $10, just for the Classic ones (excluding any additional toppings). But for the most part, the soufflé pancakes live up to its name, with a fluffy center, topped with tasty maple cream. Although the pancakes took almost 20 minutes to make, it is made to order and fresh upon receiving it, making it worthwhile, but I will recommend to eat as soon as possible. I haven't tried the Taiyaki NYC version of the soufflé pancake, but overall this is a good soufflé pancake, but would rather eat it as a dessert rather than a part of a breakfast. read more

The BEST egg bubble waffles I can find in NYC! Great crunch on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside. Purple yam is my go-to. They actually put pieces of purple yam in each bubble. Original is a classic. Eating their egg waffles always takes me back to the ones I've had in Hong Kong years ago. read more

Love grabbing an egg waffle or two when they're open. It's worth the wait since they make it fresh, and it's a quick snack that isn't too sweet or heavy to enjoy while walking in Flushing. I always go for the plain flavor, but I'd imagine the others are just as if not more delicious read more

Amazing souffle pancakes!! So light, fluffy, airy with the perfect flavors. Im going to have to get some of this everytime I'm in flushing now. Call ahead because each order takes about 15 minutes. read more

The original soufflé is their signature dish. I came here a few times and that is always consistent and excellent.

This is my favorite soufflé pancake,I come here every time i am in flushing..I ordered the cream brûlée's but my boyfriend likes the original..I've been waiting around 15-20 mins which is not bad when compared with the good food and service read more

Just amazing! This was a great new experience. I just wish it would take less time to get my order ready. Please improve this!

Got here right when the store opened. I had the original egg waffle ($4.50). Took about 5 minutes to get it. Tasted like the ones I got back in HK. Definitely suggest eating it fresh and not save it... or else it'll taste like a soggy waffle. There is a standing table if you want to eat off to the side. If you want to sit and don't mind walking 5 mins, the new Tangram "mall" have seating in on the first floor. read more

I discovered this place after I saw someone eating the pancake on the LIRR platform. Ordered the pancake with green tea and red bean, and the egg waffle with green tea and chocolate. The staff was very friendly and since I ordered to go she kept reminding me that the pancake should be consumed within 30 mins. I took both items home so it was longer than 30 mins but still tasted great! I even had the egg waffle on the next morning and it was still delicious! I saw some reviews that mentioned this is not the same souffle pancake from Japan. To be honest the food served at restaurants and cafes in Japan are so much better than similar ones here so let's not do a direct comparison. read more

Always liked Japanese fluffy pancakes so when this shop was opened, I had to go try. I was honestly surprised because it was really good, better than I expected. The texture and softness was spot on! While it is a bit pricy for pancakes, it's still nice treat so I definitely recommend it! read more

Really great value here. We wanted to try souffle pancakes as a family and to get these in Soho would cost twice as much. Totally worth the trip to Flushing. All of the options here were under $10 and delicious. Loved the creme brulee pancake. Highly recommend. read more

Disappointed place. I was only one customer, and a casher asked me to wait 15min. That was fine, until staffs do not start cooking until you waited 15min. When I complained after I wait 30min, they were saying that it will takes 30min. Yes. I was only customer at that time and do not change your words. I saw staffs were taking baby pictures. Never going back. read more

This was my first time having souffle pancake and it was great! I ordered their original maple one. The wait time was a bit long, but very worth. The texture of the cake is so fluffy, but chewy in just the right way. Highly recommend. read more

We shared pancakes with strawberry and yogurt and it was life-changing. I will be coming back often just for this!

So delicious and it's so entertaining to watch them make this. They take so much caution and care with he soufflés and are so gentle. It melts in your mouth and it's so soft and yummy. This was such a tastey light dessert. I loved the crembrulee flavor and glad I went with that one. I'd love to come back here and try other ones! read more

I went here last week around 3:00pm and it was closed for a day already. I tried again today and it was open but soufflé was sold out they said. I ordered a red bean and match cream. The pic on their menu has a little wafer and white whip cream but on mine had only pockies and green tea whip cream. Tasted mediocre. It wasn't worth for $10 and come twice. read more

omg such a catfish. i know it says egg in the name of this place but i was not expecting my fluffy pancakes to taste and smell like a fresh boiled egg. it really through me off. and the texture was very much souffle like it wasn't firm and bouncy it was like a whipped fluffy egg. just overall 1/10 i couldn't even eat it. read more

I stopped by here for the (original flavored) egg waffles and it was as expected. Its the last booth in the store inside. They have a few seating areas also. Expect to wait a good 5-6 minutes for your order. read more

Amazing! Never had anything like it. Just wish it didn't take 15 min to get after you order.

The photos of this place looked great and I definitely wanted to try if I was already in line for Yi Fang bubble tea. Got the $9.50 Oreo souffle and waited about 15 minutes before it was ready. Like some of the reviews, the pancakes were a bit underdone and I did not really enjoy the taste of the eggy batter towards the middle. The cooked outer parts were fine and overall, a bit too sweet and fluffy for me and my friend to finish. read more

This is my favorite place for Japanese fluffy pancake, there are many options but today we choose strawberry Blueberry Yogurt and Matcha red bean. They both are really good, I like the yogurt cream served with strawberry and blueberries. The pancake is light and soft. Matcha Red Bean flovour, we originally thought it is served with matcha ice cream but found out that it is matcha cream. There is a promotion to get Hong Kong Waffle at 50% off when buying pancake, personally I think it is just ok, don't need to try. read more

雞蛋仔 average but the mango souffle pancakes are so good. Very light and fluffy. Not too sweet. Even though I have to wait 20 minutes.... Worth every second. read more

Wait too long time, no surprise. Try once for fun is fine. Won't be back again. Some other places make better soufflé in Flushing.

A little disappointed after hearing about it coming to Flushing. The pancake was really wet inside and the outside was not "jiggling" which made me sad. I wanted the jiggle effect. It's about 8-9 bucks a set which is not worth it. The maple one was the only one that tasted ok. Everything else was meh. read more
