Delicious and fresh Mexican food! Complimentary chips and guacamole were served before food came. The guacamole was very smooth, hearty, and refreshing. We tried beef and pork tacos and they were both very great. I am so glad that we found this place!

TLDR - warm fresh tortillas, neutral verdes sauce I was in the area for lunch after checking out the Cherry blossoms and found this authentic Mexican spot. We were a little bit iffy coming into the restaurant since we were the only ones sitting inside, but we were greeted with our friendly server. I ordered the Pollo Fajitas and my boyfriend ordered the Verdes Pollo Enchiladas. I loved that the chicken fajitas came with fresh, warm tortillas! Our table was right next to the kitchen area too so I was able to watch them make it. The chicken in the fajitas was a bit on the salty side for my taste. The verdes sauce could also use some extra heat and spices to round out the flavor. They were out of the mole when we went so I want to come back to try their mole and have more of their fresh tortillas!

Came here for take out for lunch on a Sunday. I ordered an al pastor burrito. Pretty good. The pineapple in it adds a hint of sweetness. The guac was more salsa like.

Great authentic Mexican joint near queens zoo! Tiny place but food was delicious (not overly salty or sweet). The carnita platter was my favorite and had chunks of tender meat. Tacos had lots of flavor but I would add the guac on it next time for extra flavor and creaminess. Chicken soup was great for our daughter.

I came here with a group of people and the hostess (who might have been the owner?) was super friendly! A bunch of us got tacos and it was so delicious. It was authentic, well-built, and tasty in every bit. We also got horchatas. Highly recommend if you are looking for great Mexican food near the area!

Cheese enchiladas! This photo did not include the beans and rice.

We are from the Bay Area in California and was driving aimlessly looking for something to eat. We decided on having Mexican and yelped our way to this little Gem of a place. We were greeted by a very nice woman. She sat us in a booth with secured shielding from others sitting in booths to the front and back of us. We ordered. I ordered the cheese enchiladas which came with beans and rice. My son ordered the 3 taco with beef. Our meals were delicious! And we ate everything on our plates. It looks like the tortillas are made fresh there too! Since I'm not from this area, I hope that my review helps with this small little business. I would definitely come back if I was visiting NY again! Yummm! The service is awesome!!!

All their locations have pretty good ratings so I can't really go wrong. Came around 11am on a weekend and it was busy but there were tables available. The tables are arranged pretty strategically to fit as many as possible, which isn't the best for comfort. The service is nice here. The menu is in Spanish but they do have an English menu if you scan a QR code. I ordered the craken taco, costra taco, verde aguachile mixtos, a half dozen grilled shrimps, a la exotica, and guac with fried octopus. Everything was delicious! This place did not disappoint. Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp. The way they grill it really brings out the sweetness and flavor of the shrimp. I personally enjoyed the la exotica more than the aguachile. The guac was also really good and the fried octopus was a good addition. I will definitely go to their other locations. This is a must try for seafood lovers.

Having never tried tamales before, I was pretty eager (thanks to her positive comments). We sampled both the adobo ($2) and birria ($2.5) tamales, and they were absolutely amazing. Personally, I found the adobo tamale to be slightly better in terms of flavor but both were equally well made with its rich, flavorful seasoning. My sister, who has tried tamales before, mentioned that these were even better than the ones she got from the random tamale table (near Woodside), thanks to the diverse flavor options available and how fresh they came out. The customer service here was exceptional. A friendly lady approached us, handed us menus, and took our order with a warm smile. Even though tipping isn't required, their service went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcome. We also couldn't resist trying the birria taco ($4), which arrived piping HOT. It was generously stuffed with birria, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. While it was a tad salty for my taste, my sisters thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. Our total order came out to a little less than $10 for three people, which was perfect for a light snack before heading home for our protein dinner (get that protein intake in! EEEEEEEEEE)

Located underneath the subway lines and is just a grill on the sidewalk, they have a little table/seating area and has a unique menu. I ordered the Tlayuda, which is like an Oaxacan pizza(?). Set on top of a large and crispy tortilla, it's coated with beans, cheese, tomatoes, avocado and an assortment of different meats like grilled steak, ground pork, and grilled pork. I had read about Oaxacan tlayudas, large crisp tortillas coated with a layer of mashed black beans and sprinkled with savory toppings, while trip planning, and I was intrigued. I noticed the Sr. San Pablo cart advertising tlayudas when I was at Corona Plaza a few weeks ago, and prioritized a return visit. Since then, I've tried a steak taco and the combination meats tlayuda, and both were delicious. The steak taco had juicy and well-seasoned meat, a flavorful tortilla, and amazing spicy sauce. The tlayuda was large enough for 2-3 people to share. In addition to the large base tortilla and bean spread, the combination variety had chorizo, steak, and seasoned pork (the best) for the meats, stringy Oaxacan cheese, tomato, and avocado. There were red and green salsas and escabeche pickles available for garnishes. I would have liked a little lime to add some sparkle to all of the savory flavors. There are 4 small stools and a covered table next to the cart to sit and eat, but I can't imagine it'd be a fun experience in bad weather. Definitely check this place out.

Food: Tacos 4/5…read moreTacos were outstanding. The meat was tender with juicy flavors. The tortilla tasted fresh w the cilantro and onions. The so called "guacamole" they had on top was very watery didn't have flavor and shouldn't have been placed on top of the tacos. The tacos taste good without it. Additionally, the radish wasn't cut well. Tostada 3/5 The chicken wasn't seasoned well, it was moist and not dry. There was too much lettuce on it, and it contributed to it being unseasoned. Guacamole and chips 0/5 Watery guacamole, it looked more like a salsa than guacamole. One can't even taste the supposedly "guacamole." It's not even seasoned well, it was watery green mush. The chips were too deep fried , so it was difficult to chew and hurt my teeth. AVOID getting this Horchata 5/5: Tasted fresh and homemade.
