I decided to come check out this place with the amazing 5 star reviews! I checked out the menu online and it seemed very well priced for the quality and ambiance. The cashier was very sweet, I was greeted upon opening the door, there was plenty of staff to make my meal. I was unsure what to order so the cashier guided me thru the menu depending on if I wanted something lighter or heavier for my meal. Finally I came to the Ben Franklin sandwich! It was made on an english muffin type bread, had arugula salad, grilled ham and an egg (of course!) it also came with hollandaise sauce in it and on the side. I got potatoes and orange juice as well. My total was around 25$ for everything pretty typical. My meal took about 6-8minutes to come out and was VERY delicious! I only have a few notes, they are the things that would have taken my 4-star to 5, easily. The hollandaise sauce, while very tasty was broken, there was a pretty hefty layer of oil where the butter and egg yolk had separated, which you can tell just by looking at it. The only other thing was my egg was very over cooked. I was expecting a runny egg, but I received a hard cooked egg. I do understand that for a business that does sandwiches it might be hard to not pop an over easy style egg but maybe over medium or something that gives a slightly runny yield. Lastly, with the kitchen area being open, it is slightly off putting to see the staff openly drinking sodas with no lids or straws as required by the health dept. With that being said, it would not deter me from coming back, I would happily come here again and try other dishes! Keep up the good work team! read more

My family went there on their grand opening day. We ordered Nashville hottie, Ben Franklin, ribeye burrito, avocado toast, and eggbread cheese burger and everything was delicious!!! We especially loved their ribeye burrito, the cheese burger with sunnyside runny egg, and crisp to perfection Nashville Hottie!!! As it was their grand opening day, we waited a little bit for food to come out but everything was super delicious, filling and satisfying, worth the wait!!! The employees were very polite and friendly! They looked a little nervous but i get it! It was their grand opening day! The business is located in the Sprouts market shopping plaza. There were plenty of parking spaces, and Eggbread had a nice outdoor patio area. Indoor was roomy with high ceiling, and the deco was very pleasant with fun wall graffiti perfect for photo zone. I've been a fan of the La Habra location for a while, so I was excited to try the Garden Grove spot through Yelp-Grubhub. I ordered the Scramble Me Softly with an Impossible patty and added sliced jalapeños for a little kick. The delivery was impressively fast, but by the time it arrived, the food wasn't as warm as I'd hoped. Flavor-wise though, it didn't disappoint the fluffy eggs, melty cheese, and savory Impossible patty worked perfectly together, and the jalapeños gave it the spice it needed. I'll definitely order again when I'm working out of Orange, but next time I might go in person to enjoy it hot and fresh. read more

I would rate this place a 3.5/5 if possible. I came here on a Saturday morning, and the restaurant was somewhat busy. However, the food came out quickly and staff were nice. The decor was cute, and I appreciated the egg puns on the wall. The first item I tried was The Ben Franklin. I loved how crispy and flat the English muffin was (my highlight of the dish), but because it was thin it was difficult to hold the contents of the sandwich. I liked the extra hollandaise sauce on the side because you can control how much you want. Tip - add some tapatio to the sandwich for some spice as it can get a bit monotonous in flavor. The Loaded Ribeye California Burrito was standard. Nothing wrong with it, but also nothing to write home about. I don't think it was worth $18 because it wasn't "loaded" and wish they gave more sauce on the side. We did appreciate the amount of avocado in the burrito though. Overall, I had a good experience but wasn't wowed because of the price. I would come back to try a few of their other items. read more

This is my second experience at an EggBred but first time to GG. First one was LB and it was only ok. The fried potatoes in my burrito were super salty was the thing I remembered most. Similarly, the soft scrambled eggs in my scramble me softly, while decently cooked were even saltier. Like nearly inedible. I still have the salt flavor in my mouth and can feel my elevated blood pressure. I saw the "no salt" option when ordering but didn't think I would need it. The kid had one too and ended up not eating all the eggs for the same reason. Also her sando had more egg than mine, which I saw was a complaint from another review. The other problem was the coffee supplies. They only had packaged flavored creamer and only white sugar. And the counter was a mess. On the plus side, the fried chicken sandwich was good as were the biscuits and gravy. Lots of potential here but also lots of room for improvement. read more

Wow!!! I've had their breakfast before and thought it was amazing, but their lunch took it to a whole new level. The Nashville Hottie is absolutely bussin and perfectly seasoned with just the right kick of spice, paired with crispy beer-battered potatoes and that rich country sausage gravy. I ordered the Scramble Me Softly, which is soft scrambled eggs with chives, caramelized onions, cheese, smoked paprika spread, toasted milk bun. I added Applewood Smoked Bacon. The house's spicy jalapeño ketchup added so much flavor to the sandwich. The soft scramble eggs was on the runny side, but all in all it wad the bomb and i love it. Tried this new breakfast sandwich place on opening day and it was good. I had the sausage and egg and my wife had the steak sandwich. I saw the had a Benedict sandwich that I had to come back and try and it was really good. I think my favorite is still the steak sandwich. Went to the Garden Grove location and it was a solid breakfast spot. We got the Ben Franklin Breakfast Sandwich, Benny on the Rocks, which is like a eggs benedict type things, the Ribeye California Breakfast Burritos, and also tried the Nashville Hottie Chicken Sandwich. My faves were probably the breakfast burrito and the Nashville Hottie Chicken Sandwich. Everything was solid though, and the coffee pretty standard. Some items can be a little pricey but the portions are good still. They have a lot of locations throughout the OC. Overall it's definitely a good breakfast option.
