This is such a cute brunch place! We came on a Sunday morning and everyone was so nice and friendly. They had little goodies for free on the side for their customers which was so sweet. The food here was really good as well! We will definitely be back!

Very cute brunch spot. Variety of choice....this time I had their acai bowl with a side of tater tots and my friend had their lomo saltado omlete. Both were delicious. However, this time around I had the server come halfway into our meal to ring our check even when we didn't call her over. I was a bit surprised....was that a hint telling us to get going? This was slightly surprising to me. Minus this....it's a nice brunch spot any day of the week to try with a friend!

Review #961 2026-027 Nightingale is located on the west side of Bella Terra (refer to Review #962), underneath The Residences at Bella Terra. My son was participating in the Bella Terra Kids Club: Valentine's Day Sweets Stroll, & stopped by next door at Tutu School. Unfortunately, they were holding class & didn't appear to be part of the program (no "Sweet Treats Here" sign). Not sure if M looked dejected or we look like we're hungry, but a friendly staff member approached & informed us that they're not listed on the map but they're offering complimentary treats as part of their daily menu. What!?! We stopped in this charming, chic restaurant... I love the soft pink & vibrant blue accents! Continuing that theme, the pink & white flowered dessert table sits just inside the entrance. And my son was all agog to see Nightingale's sweet treats: a beautiful spread of cookies, mini muffins & donuts, Ferocher chocolates. ^_^ Though the desserts were store-bought, I enjoyed a tasty mini banana nut muffin & the LO picked up another cookie to add to his Sweets Stroll collection. Looking over their modest menu, Nightingale appears to be an American-Thai fusion cafe with moderate to somewhat high price points (considerably more expensive breakfast than in my 'hood). However, they have superb weekday deals like their after 11:00 AM Lunch Special (Thai plate entree includes pork egg roll, side salad, tom yum soup), & limited time Early Bird Bowl (BOGO excluding the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries Bowl). What piques my taste buds is their Chef's Specialty: Cambodian Oxtail Noodle Soup & Crab Hashlet, in addition to the Jalapeño Cucumber & Tamarind Margaritas. With such friendly & welcoming hospitality even though we were not their customer, one can only imagine the service in actually eating here. We have another upcoming 3-day weekend, & definitely plan to drop in for Nightingale's specials... stay tune for the full dining experience!

Discovered this hidden gem while looking for an Asian fusion breakfast spot. I was also partially sold on the bird name because I love birds. The food is delicious, but the service was not satisfactory. We were seated outside and my boyfriend went to order inside. He came back and said the cash register person kind of gave him an attitude because he gave a less-than-18% tip. She got cold and was not friendly at all after that. Later, when he went to ask for a to-go box, one of the girls was on her phone and did not respond in a friendly way. This is all surprising because for such a nice restaurant you would expect a little bit of a friendlier service. Also, how can you expect a high tip when 1) you have not provided any service at all and 2) this is one of those restaurants where you order at the counter, they bring the food out to you, and that is it. Even water is self-served for crying out loud. What would the tip be for? I'd call that highway robbery. With that said, I did enjoy my Crab Hashlet. I don't think I've had anything like this before. It was well-made and the flavors were balanced. The bowl looked like it was filled with crab but in reality, it was mostly rice underneath. BF had the Chorizo Burrito and it was also decent. Maybe I'd come back if they stop giving customers an attitude for not tipping for nonexistent service.

Located at the side of Bella Terra plaza, there's a good amount of parking, but it can easily fill up during peak hours. The restaurant is smaller than I imagined, but there's a good amount of tables. It's a Thai brunch fusion with tons of options. They have a variety of drinks too. We ordered the Cali burrito, chilequiles, and strawberry shortcake French toast. The Cali burrito was stacked but it was smaller than expected. The chilequiles was good, but just okay. I've definitely had better. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. I also got the Thai tea and green Thai tea. The Thai tea was light and watered down, but I liked that it wasn't super sweet. The green Thai tea was delicious. This is a cute spot to try. Their brunch is okay, but Id like to come back and try their Thai foods.

Love this spot! Conveniently located with lots of shopping around, it's the perfect place to start the day. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer indoor dining as the decorations are beautiful and the entire Cafe is photo friendly. My last visit was during the holidays, therefore, extra holiday decor and treats were available. The food is fantastic! I've tried several dishes and beverages, and enjoyed each one. Orders are taken at the counter with food brought to your table. The place is clean and service was great, with tables cleared for us once we were finished. The only downside is parking can be a bit tough at times (weekends and holidays), otherwise, I'd consider there to be plenty of spaces. Definitely a place I'd recommend!

Strawberry shortcake French toast - thought there was too much shortcake crumbles which made dish really sweet, toast was buttery and chewy, not too big of a fan bc it's too sweet Lomo Saltado Omelet - highly recommend if you're trying to hit your protein goal and want something savory, unique, and delicious! I love the lomo gravy sauce, it's savory and added sooo much flavor to the steak + eggs + potatoes + onions. perfectly seasoned and such a creative omelet, the best brunch omelets I've had! Lemon blueberry hot cakes - LOVE THIS, the cream balances out the blueberry tartness and sweet syrup. I didn't really taste any lemon, would prob prefer a stronger flavor profile. But overall very solid sweet dish! Staff friendly and service quick. Parking is free and easy. Highly recommend trying their creative lattes!

Ah, the Nightingale! I recently came back here on another beloved foodie adventure with a buddy for some brunch and was in for quite the treat! Located at Bella Terra in Huntington Beach, The Nightingale is a flowery and aesthetically inviting spot. On a Saturday afternoon, it was a bit busy but luckily nothing too crazy due to the rainy weather out. We ordered the Maple Bacon Breakfast Sandwich and Classic Breakfast Burrito and both were awesome and did not disappoint taste and flavor-wise. Portions could've been a bit better but luckily we weren't too hungry and they were offering a really sweet complimentary snack and pastry station alongside our meal which was awesome. More of a small pet peeve of mine, but it did irk me how our table rocked a bit during the whole time (like c'mon, such a simple fix) but gratefully the ambiance inside is so stellar that it really didn't matter in the grand scheme of things! The staff members here are always friendly and accommodating which is always cool of-course. I'd definitely be back here and totally feel free to give it a try if you particularly crave an ambiance!

An aesthetically pleasing brunch spot in Bella Terra. It's a little small inside, but a very pretty restaurant from the decor to the plating of the dishes. The menu is extensive. The Strawberry Shortcake French Toast was mostly good; maybe a little dry, but the strawberries were very fresh. The service could use some improvement, as we were only one of two parties seated (the other was already eating), and it took so long for someone to come take our order that we were wondering if we were supposed to order at the counter. However, the wait between ordering and getting our food was very short (since we were the only order), and we got the check promptly after we finished eating. Overall, a pleasant experience. Next time I'm in the area, I hope to come back to try another dish and their matcha drinks!

Such a great spot. The food was super tasty with lots of yummy options, and everything was beautifully presented. The customer service was amazing, and the inside is super cute. I cannot wait to come back and try more of what they have to offer. Everything from the food to the service made this a really enjoyable visit.

Hmm, I can't say that I'm over the moon about Nightingale due to my recent experience. I appreciate the staff for doing their best when short staffed, but the quality fell short even in our food. We were not told that we had to go up and order and was left thinking they forgot about us, but they probably realized once we were sat down for a while. It is more casual for a brunch place than I thought as water cups were also self serve. Utensils were provided depending on what dishes were ordered. Smoked Salmon Toast (2/5): This was probably my least favorite salmon toast I've had by far, sadly! The multigrain toast was cold, the cream cheese ratio was spread so thin and that single layer of smoked salmon made this toast so so weak, and is definitely an item that can be recreated at home. Lomo Saltado Omelet (3/5): The Filet Mignon just didn't quite taste similar to what I've had in a Lomo Saltado at other restaurants. The meat was a bit salty, and the eggs were more of a scramble than an omelet shape. Crab Cake Benny (2.5/5): I was not a fan of it either, as I felt like I was eating fried crab cake batter. The side salad was sliced lettuce, carrots, purple cabbage, and strawberry slices, which did not come with anything else, which I found very peculiar, but healthy I suppose. The Acai Bowl was actually the best thing out of our order, we loved the chia pudding and almond butter. I think these dishes could be improved but maybe it was just due to the staffing that day. I'm not entirely certain but I am glad to have tried it and mark it off my brunch list.

Nightingale has some of the freshest açaí bowls around. Love all the fruit options, especially since they have mango and kiwi. The woman I believe to be the owner is always so nice. She even gave me this drink for free, since she was taking photos for their menus. Super cute spot for brunch, as well. Their noodle soups are pretty darn good.

Came across this place by accident and so happy we did! It is so cutely decorated inside and the owner was so sweet and welcoming. Ordered the açaí bowl and bacon and egg sandwich and both were so good! The açaí bowl tasted really fresh and they have a BOGO 50% off option as well. They put out free treats like macarons and cookies for their customers too which I think is so sweet. Would definitely comeback here and recommend for anyone looking for great breakfast options and Thai food

Is this place pet friendly? Like outside seating for a pet?

    I believe so. I'm 75% sure.

I have been by to try the Sushi Bar twice this week around 5:30 and it was closed. Is there still a sushi bar?

Hi Kathy, Due to the poor weather conditions we had to make a tough decision and pause sushi night until further notice. We will keep you posted

    What are the hours?

    8am-3pm

    Do you take reservations?

I don't think they do because it's basically a very small simple cafe, but they do have ample seating indoors and outdoors.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with them? I've called several times and the line just rings continuously.

You Just have to show up, they were super busy when we went, to the point where I went to Old Navy to shop while I waited but trust me, it's worth the wait.

    Do they have bottomless mimosa?

Unfortunately they don't have bottomless mimosa but they do have happy hour all day

The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking, making it an easy place to visit. Inside, it was clean, bright, and welcoming. We were seated right away, but unfortunately, the service got off to a slow start. No one came by to take our drink order, and we eventually had to wave someone down to get things moving. Once our server came over, though, everything turned around. Here's what we ordered: - Mango Salad - fresh, flavorful, and I loved that it came with lettuce for extra crunch. - Massaman Curry - on the lighter side than I'm used to, but the curry flavor was absolutely on point. - Pad See Ew - Eggplant - Summer Rolls - Sticky Rice - Lychee Tea - refreshing, delicious, and the perfect drink to pair with the meal. Every dish we ordered was excellent. It's always a great sign when you order several items and every single one delivers. The flavors were authentic, well balanced, and made me wish I had room to order even more. Despite the slow start with the service, the quality of the food more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Orange County. 10/10, highly recommended if you're craving great Thai food!

I came in to pick up my order as soon as toast said it was "likely done". Tofu was soggy, and portion was small. Likewise, the pad see ew was composed of noodles that fell apart upon any attempt to pick them up, the veggies were undercooked, egg pieces were next to nothing, and the flavor was overall lacking. For $35 with tip, I was disappointed by all means. What I ordered was unfortunately mediocre at best - I won't be returning.

That usually is a good sign and indeed it was. We were seated promptly as we had Md called in for reservation's. The tables are small and we placed three together. We were given water immediately plus we ordered Thai teas which were promptly served. The owner was our server and promptly took out individual orders consisting of two shared orders of chicken satay. We ordered seafood tom yum soup plus Pad See Ew, one shrimp Pad Thai, two chicken Pad Thai's, Pineapple fried rice. For each order we were asked what spice lever 1-5 we would like. I ordered my pai at a (12)twelve. I also asked for what for me is Sine qua non, that being nam pla prik which was served ice cold from a refrigerator. The only real criticism I have would be that the main entrees were brought to the table before the soup. The satays were served first and I'd say that the chicken texture was more or less that of a thin processed chicken tender. The satay came with a small bit of cucumber and onion side slobs with a I presume was a peanut sauce. The portions were huge, the amount of shrimp, muscles, fish and what seemed to be scallops was more than adequate and very good. I really enjoyed my chicken Pad Thai but could only finish half , much to my chagrin. My Granddaughter commented favorably about her pins pole fried rice and the eldest of my two Grandson's literally devoured every morsel of his chicken Pad Thai. Of course my other grandson ordered Shrimp pad Thai and gave me his shrimp and stated that he doesn't like shrimp? De gustibus non est disputandum? Go figure! The owners service was great and very attentive. The food was very good with only a slight reservation. We were planning to top off the meal with a shared serving of the traditional Khao Niao Mamuang (Sticky Rice and Mango) but we were all satiated to the MAX! Maybe next time. There are more modern looking restaurants with table cloths and ambiance but the charm of the small intimate eatery wasn't lost at Orange Thai. The family enjoyed the meal and my son and I enjoyed the Father's Day experience at Orange Thai.
