To call the service at this place "amateur" would be a COMPLIMENT. We placed our order at 11:04 am and did not a receive our sandwiches until 11:55 am. We ordered the most basic sandwiches on the menu, the "sweet egg." It's literally eggs and buttered brioche. There were probably 30+ people waiting on orders when we were there. Not to place an order, to RECEIVE their order. Another maddening aspect of this debacle was the fact that they were still processing Door Dash and Uber Eats orders when they had a lobby full of people waiting. It would have made sense to pause on that to get ahead of the rush. It was insulting to all the people standing there waiting, and wasting their time in your store. No one informed new customers walking in that the wait would be upwards of 45 minutes. No one came out to apologize to people, or even make an attempt at making things right. I felt like I got robbed after visiting this place! As for the sandwich... it was fine but it's impossible for me to be objective at this point. This place was around the corner from my hotel. I decided to give it a try but I was in a rush. Ordered online and got it to go. I tried the bacon and cheese egg tuck sandwich. I actually ate it like 1.5hrs after I picked it up. It was still delish! I can only imagine how it would be hot and fresh. I appreciate how it was wrapped and packaged. Napkins a must. I got the avo egg sandwich with cheese. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!! Amazing soft scrambled eggs, the perfect amount of avocado, and the most fantastic brioche bread. It is a gigantic sandwich but is served in a convenient half box that makes it a bit easier to tackle. I also appreciated as I got to the bottom that the bread wasn't cut all the way through, so nothing falls out the bottom. I'm quite happy to now be working down the street from here, as breakfast sandwiches are my Achilles heel. I've ordered twice from Egg Tuck and loved it both times so far. The bacon/cheese sandwich is my favorite and their New Orleans latte isn't bad either. I am aiming to try their egg tots and/or fries next time I eat here. I will say that the eggs are a bit runny for my liking. I've only ordered online so I'm not sure if you can request that they be cooked a bit more in person, but I may try that next time. Most scrambled egg toasts I've had cook their eggs just slightly more than Egg Tuck does for more solid bites. I do prefer Oh K-Dog's egg toast at H-Mart in terms of flavor and consistency, but because that's way out of the way, Egg Tuck is still a worthy substitute. My only other complaint is that the tall stools are quite small and uncomfortable to sit on. No complaints on service. The workers are friendly and hard-working. Again, I've only ordered online so I would not be familiar with how the staff is with an in-person order. Other than that, I will definitely be returning for work lunches. read more

Even though it was crowded we had no issue getting a table. We ordered the bacon sandwich. I like a good breakfast sandwich so this was tasty. It's definitely messy. Wow, this sandwich is why they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It was absolutely delicious and flavorful from the sauce, eggs, fresh and abundance avocado slices, and fluffy brioche bread. I truly wish I had ordered a second. There are not only a variety of egg sandos to choose from but also breakfast burritos and sides like their famous egg tots. I'm going to start with the good. Our sandwiches were a 5 out of 5 for sure! I ordered the bacon egg sandwich to go and when I had time to open it, that's when I noticed I was given a ham egg sandwich instead. Not a fan of ham but the sauce that they put on this sandwich was heaven. Now the bad...a few minutes after we ordered at the kiosk, they announced that the wait for food would be 25-30 min. Well we waited 30 minutes and I decided to call and ask about the status of our order & the first girl I spoke to said it would be another 30 minute wait. I was so confused and told her we had to cancel our order if the wait was going to be that long. So she put someone else on the phone who cancelled our order with no questions asked. So at that time I decided to ask her "how much longer would we have had to wait because the first girl told us another 30 minutes and I don't think that can be right some the announcement after us said there would be a 25-30 min wait". So that lady actually took the time to get my order number and told me it would have only been another 5 minute wait. She had already cancelled the order but I told her we could wait another 5 and she allowed me to repay for the order. Just a whole mess but I get it, they're super busy and I wasn't upset about it, I just wish the first girl would have taken the steps to actually check my order because all of that could have been avoided. It would also have been nice for the drinks to come out with the order but unfortunately the drinks were made way ahead of time than the food is so by the time the food comes out, you're going to need another drink. read more
