The breakfast sandwich I had was amazing, but so huge I couldn't finish it! A very good value, but don't expect to eat for the rest of the day. read more

Wow! This was on my to try list for the next time visiting LA, so imagine my excitement upon learning Chicago was getting its very own Egg Tuck! I stopped by about a month after it opened. It *absolutely* lives up to the hype. I placed my order for a Saturday morning the night before, and it was ready promptly at the time I set ahead of time. We got an original egg sandwich with the delicious fluffy inside. Each bite was HEAVEN. WOW. The brioche is so buttery and flavorful. It's hard to describe the perfection of the egg sandwich, but I've truly never had anything like it. If you've ever had Eggslut, this is so much better!!! Way more flavorful! Note: I saw they're actually opening two more locations soon! One in Lincoln Park and one on the UIC campus. Super excited about the further Chicago expansion! I think it fits into our food offerings really well--we don't have anything quite like this here. read more

Amazing. Long wait (20-30 mins) but they were transparent about it from the moment I walked in (announcing to everyone). Ordered the egg-avo Sammy and holy cow that was so good. Dont miss this place!!! read more

I've been seeing this spot all over my feed and finally went to check them out! I ordered ahead of time for an easy and quick pick up so I'm glad I didn't have to wait in any long lines! Their scrambled eggs were so fluffy and light! I added tapatio to my sandwich and it made it even better. Overall I liked it and would come back to try their other items! read more

Food was good! Big egg sandwich flavorful! Brioche soft eggs scrambled and avocado and sriracha popped

Quick and easy to order on computer or ahead of time on phone. Egg sandwich was super good but I wish they had chicken or turkey sausage options. Coffee was also good. Staff was efficient and friendly. Restaurant was busy so we did not stay and eat but they have a decent sized dining room. We visited twice during our trip to Chicago :) read more

Breakfast comfort food on steroids. But in a to go format. The scrambled eggs were moist, the bread grilled, and the avocado fresh. Now I have been places that serve mushy tater tots. Not Egg Tuck. The tater tots were perfectly crispy even after being refrigerated. I forgot to add the honey lemonade pictured. I ordered the Avo egg. I could not finish it. But it was so good. It was like childhood memories, but better. It is a short walk from the Royal Sonesta. AND you can order online in advance for pickup. It is a popular spot so I recommend ordering ahead read more

We went in the middle of a weekday so luckily did not hit any line! The food was served to us quickly. I thought the sandwich here would be overhyped but it was NOT, it was really really good!!! It was saucy but not overly so and nice and soft. It was really filling too and well worth the price! The tater tots were also tasty. Enjoyed that they had seating in the back for us to eat the food. I probably wouldn't wait more than 15 minutes for this but you can order online to beat the line. read more

Man I loved it. Place was jam packed when my friend and I went, but honestly, food still came out at a reasonable pace. I got the royal west which was really good, but my friend got the avocado egg and honestly I preferred that! It was so light and fresh. I don't know how else to describe it, but when I go back I definitely want to get that next time! Also got a honey lemonade and thought it was delicious and refreshing. Will come back! read more

Ordered a spicy burger Toast was soggy and falling apart. I had a stomach ache after eating 2 bites. This place is more of a "visual" experience than taste. Order took 20 minutes which was fine for how busy they looked. Personally would not come back. This is food is something I could make at home read more

This breakfast sandwich was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Bacon and cheese one and it was amazing. I also ordered the honey lemonade and it paired super well! Really long line! But it seems to run very efficiently and the food is really so tasty. We have spent the last two weeks trying to replicate the meal we had here and while we've gotten close, we can't wait to go back to Chicago & eat here again. The place itself is small, there is seating in the back which seemed to be available to all who wanted it. But it is pretty loud, think of like cafeteria in school loud - just because there are so many people waiting. Awesome spot! The whole family loved it! read more

Stopped in this morning on a whim. Ordered one egg sandwich. 30 mins in, I asked about my order and was told 5 mins more. Still took 25 more minutes (55 minutes total). There was no line to order, but by the time I left the wall was lined with many people all awaiting their orders including many food delivery services. Overall, sandwich was good (8 out of ten) but not worth the cost or long wait. Nothing special with dining room, just tables, mostly filled with folks waiting for their orders. read more

This place should have a line out the door! Got the original egg sandwich and it was GLORIOUS. Crisp grilled bread, runny soft egg, a little bit of spice. (For 7.99 in the loop, also a good price). Inhaled my sandwich and went back for another. Hubs got the gochuracha burger- also delicious, with a good bit of spice overlaying a sweetness. Chefs Kiss. read more

This sandwich was quite tasty. Nice fluffy eggs, well-toasted bread, and their house mayo + spicy mayo sauces are awesome. However, I wish there were non-pork based meat options. I believe the tteok-galbi patties are a mixture of beef and pork. Kind of overpriced for an egg sandwich as well. read more

I love the sandwiches here, they are flavorful, filling, and always cooked perfectly. Their chai is also amazing, with the perfect level of sweetness, and leaves me wanting another. However my one issue each time I come here is the wait. I always end up having to wait at least 20 minutes for what I feel like should be a quick bite. Aside from the wait times, the food and drinks are tasty and I recommend trying it out. read more

SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! Their vanilla chai lattes are soooo creamy. Omg the Royal West is so yummy like perfectly balanced amazing brekkie. The egg is fluffy and runny, the meat is tender and its flavor blooms, and the brioche bread, locally sourced, is so soft with a wonderful crunch. And it's Asian-run so of course the staff and the environment are both chill and wonderful :) I was singing on the subway after this meal. read more

My Instagram feed has been going absolutely bonkers with targeted ads for this place. Considering it was only about a ten minute walk from my office, figured I'd give it a try. Ordered around 8-8:15am on a weekday and ETA said ten minutes. When I walked in they looked like they were working on a massive catered order. Ended up waiting fifteen minutes total though which is still within what I consider a reasonable grace period. Workers definitely seemed to be frantically scrambling to fill out orders while working on the catered order. There was a pretty long line of ticket orders. The space itself seems small from the front, but opens up to a pretty big seating area in the back. Got though bacon & egg sandwich and regular tots. Sauces on the side. The bread looked a little sad for the sandwich. A bit crumpled up. They also front load a lot of the egg at the top since the sandwich is basically one giant slice of brioche that they sliced again down the middle, but still connected at the bottom. The top is overflowing with the scrambled egg which makes it look great for photos, but a little impractical to eat. After just a couple bites the eggs were basically all fell out of the sandwich. The eggs themselves were nice and fluffy. If you've ever made Gordon Ramsay's scrambled eggs (look on YouTube), these are basically it. The bacon I found to be a bit too chewy which didn't match or contrast very well with how soft a fluffy the rest of the sandwich was. The tots were fine. I would assume they're just prepackaged frozen, but tots are pretty hard to mess up. The sriracha aioli and egg sauce were both also fine. Egg sauce was kind of like garlicky aioli. Sandwich and tots in total were just shy of $17. Definitely on the steep side, but then again outside of fast food (which I guess this might count as) it's hard to find anything cheap in the loop. I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to try this. And I probably won't go out of my way even if I'm in the office a short walk away. But I wouldn't mind tagging along if a coworker wanted to give it a try. It's certainly not a terrible sandwich, especially since I'm a bit of a breakfast sandwich/egg fiend. But it's just not something I ever see myself craving again. Also outside of the aiolis something you can (and I have) made at home. read more

Long line however their spicy royal was amazing. Would buy again. It was also very busy so explain the long wait.

Great egg sandwich looked great, very savory, toasted and buttery! Got a Chai Horchata Lattee which was very sweet, but the sandwich was the star. read more

I was extremely satisfied with my early morning breakfast delivery. FYI the delivery's are through Uber without the typical Uber politics. The sandwich was pretty good. Doesn't stand up against the best in the city but at this price range you'd be hard pressed to find better. Brioche & the siracha aioli added a tangy & different flavor profile. read more

I like this place! The staff were helpful in answering questions - you can order with them or with the touch screen menus. They have a variety of options besides the egg sandwiches including "burger-wiches" and breakfast burritos. The Gochuracha Royal Burrito (not pictured) is fantastic and the Ham and Cheese Egg Tuck sandwich was delicious. My only wish is that they added a little more egg. If you're looking to dine-in, they have ample seating in the back! read more

These eggy bois are FLUFFY. My first bite made me feral because I love a delicious breakfast egg sandwich first thing in the morning, especially when I'm away from home. Service is quick and helpful, and they're quick to find you when your order is ready. There's a restroom for paying customers if you need it. It's near all the action, so it's easy enough to stop by and split a sandwich if you don't eat breakfast. Plenty of seating both for small groups and large groups. The place is clean, nothing overdone and nothing like a dungeon. Water with water cups are available, especially necessary during the summer. Soft eggs, cheesy and buttery, bread that holds the sandwich together, and perfect amount of sauce not to make a mess all over yourself or the table- this is one of the best breakfast sandwiches you will ever enjoy. read more

The food was amazing, but can get a bit messy. I got the bacon and cheese sandwich and was the perfect blend of flavor and texture. The soft scrambled eggs with the crunchy bacon was exactly what I needed to fulfill the breakfast cravings. There's seating in the back as well, just a bit messy and the bathrooms are hard to get to due to using an elevator downstairs and needing to ask for the code. Service was lovely. Definitely recommend trying for a quick breakfast bite. read more

I enjoyed it more than I thought it would. The eggs were fluffy and the brioche bread was nicely toasty and buttery. The only thing I wish for is less packaging for dine in orders. I would definitely order again from here! read more

As soon as I learned of Egg Tuck's opening in Chicago, I was eager to visit. Fortunately, I managed to skip the long wait by going on a weekday during breakfast hours; it only took about 10 minutes to receive my order. A helpful tip is to order online for pickup to expedite the process. Since this is still a relatively new spot, be prepared for weekend crowds and long wait times. I opted for the Avo Egg and The Bacon & Cheese sandwiches, both full of flavor. The bread's texture complemented the egg's taste perfectly. Confirmed Egg Tuck lives up to the hype, and I'm already excited for my next visit. read more

Great spot for breakfast in downtown Chicago for a reasonable price. Me and my husband came here just to try out this place. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and my husband got a bulgogi or rib (I can't remember) sandwich. It was about $22 for both of our orders together and which was a pretty decent price point for downtown on Michigan. It's a fast food type of place. The eggs are Ssoooo fluffy and soft and the seasonings and sauces make the sandwich taste so so good. It's a nice grab and go type of place if you don't want to dine in too. read more

What an Egg Sandwich. The best part of Tuck is you can enjoy the Korean twist if you wish or you can hold the sauces and even the pickles person will enjoy the fluffy fresh egg sandwich. I placed my order online and the 30-40 is dead nuts accurate so save yourself waiting and use the online ordering system. Pretty basic lobby. No frills clean and organized pickup area. read more
