My wife and I just had lunch at the Egg Haus. The food was excellent - so was the service. We both had omelets. It comes their home fries (thinly sliced) and toast. Interesting place to say the least walked in with high hopes. It started off great service was good even when busy but then the food came. Frozen food thats is just heated up and I was instantly met with a horrible stomach ache. The bathroom is clean but could be renovated. The food is awful probably some of the worst I have ever tasted. Would not recommend. read more

Tried Egg Haus for the first time today! Went with a friend for brunch. Talked to the owners. They opened about 6-7 months ago. From the outside the place looks tiny, but inside is much bigger. The tables are clean and well spaced. The service was fantastic. We each ordered something and split everything in half to try it all! Hobo omelette: really tasty, big pieces of meat and veggies with cheese! Not too salty, eggs were done perfectly, not overcooked. Biscuits and gravy: biscuits are made in house and are super moist and delicious. Sausage gravy was thick and hearty. Blueberry pancake: cooked to perfection, not too sweet, big tasty blueberries in the batter! Banana pancake: for me this was the best of all the things we tried! Big chunks of banana in the batter, fluffy, sweet and delicious! Highly recommend this place. Will go back soon to try other dishes, but seems like you can't go wrong here! What a treat! read more

Place just recently opened, quaint atmosphere nothing special. The service was good our waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly. I had a regular Eggs Benedict and a coffee. Nothing too write home about. The menu is very simple, but not a bad place to grab a bite to eat after a good MTB ride at Santiago Oaks. Great new breakfast spot! Our table ordered the corned beef hash, country fried steak, Popeye's omelette, and machaca--and everything was fantastic. The country fried steak was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the corned beef hash had just the right amount of crunch. I've ordered their breakfast burrito all three times. * 1st time - Amazing. I ordered it with extra serrano peppers and the meat/potato/egg/pepper ratio was absolutely perfect. * 2nd time - Too much potato and the serrano pepper was only on the bottom half of my burrito * 3rd time - Way too much bacon - I couldn't finish it Lots of potential but they need more consistency in the kitchen. The decor is a little drab and I feel if they could improve the 'vibe' of the place, you'll have a lot more ppl eating here more often. My kids always order the french toast and they still love it. Overall it's a decent breakfast house spot. The pancakes is really good and fluffy, it needs to have more syrup selections. The egg and sausage is basic like any other breakfast house and doesn't have their own unique style. I would prefer a national chain for breakfast read more

Had a lovely breakfast here. We were impressed with how clean and neat the inside was. The service was fantastic, our severer and I assume the owners were all really friendly and made sure your cups were never empty. Food came out quick. The prices were higher but the portions were great, the kids meal was the size of a regular adults meal! Overall, a little high price wise to come every weekend but a nice ocasional treat. Best "hash browns" I've ever had. Eggs Benedict was so so. The eggs were cooked well and the hollandaise was really good but the Canadian bacon was awful and the English muffin wasn't much better. It's a new place so it wasn't crowded. Staff is friendly but the atmosphere is boring. I'll go again and recommend to others. read more

They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and important. The food was good, but the service here makes this business a standout. The place was clean, neat and cheery, complete with yellow gingham curtains! Everything in my veggie omelet was fresh, cooked to perfection and delicious! Went with my family on a Sunday afternoon because we had seen that this place just opened up. It's a very nice mom and pop shop and the ambience is pretty cozy. There weren't a lot of of people so we were able to get served quickly. I got the breakfast burrito with a side of hash browns which were great. So delicious! I hope in the future that their portions are just a little bit larger but I also know that it's tough for a lot of restaurants with the current economy. Will be back again! read more

However, I asked for one egg to be added to my order and ended up with two and was charged as such. Then, when I presented my coupon for a buy one entree, get one free, they took off the side order of two eggs (which was supposed to be a side order for one egg) instead of an entree.
