A fantastic breakfast spot! I ordered the iced brown sugar latte ($6.50) and the pumpkin pancakes with meat ($15) off their seasonal menu. The iced brown sugar latte was just the right amount of sweet and super pleasant to drink, and my lactose-intolerant self appreciated that it was made with oat milk. The pancakes were delicious. Soft while being very filling. They were topped with pecans that added a nice crunch and whipped cream. It was served with cinnamon butter on the side, and the butter was great on the pancakes, especially with maple syrup (the restaurant serves real maple syrup, none of that fake corn syrup stuff!). The restaurant has a couple of meat options: 4 strips of regular-cut bacon, 2 strips of thick-cut bacon, turkey bacon, pork sausage, chicken sausage, honey ham, and Canadian bacon. I opted for the thick-cut bacon, and it was tasty, a good combination of fatty & crispy. The service was also great. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, but you could still have a conversation without having to yell. read more

Tasty breakfast with leaf tea and delicious skillet. Perfectly cooked eggs and veggies. We got to pick what veggies we'd like and if we wanted an English muffin (that's a no for me) or wonderful wheat bread. The jelly tasted homemade. Service was quick and professional. The server kept our beverages filled and was ready with a to-go box for my leftovers. She was never obtrusive, especially since I was meeting with my boss. This restaurant was a perfect place to eat and talk. read more

Got here shortly after they opened on a Monday. The good: small personal pitcher of water and coffee. Sat promptly with my choice if seat. The bad: my hash browns and bacon were both very dry and looked and tasted like they were cooked yesterday. The booth seat had crumbs on it and clearly hadn't been wiped down. read more

Food was excellent and service was wonderful too! It does take a bit for the food to come out but we loved sitting outside on the patio under large umbrellas. It's a lovely spot too and right across from the metro station which was super convenient. We tried the specialty coffees and kids drinks which were really good! I had pancakes and several other dishes over two days here and everything was excellent! Can't wait to go back when we visit Chicago again! read more

We stopped by for lunch after my gluten-free friend landed for a visit! We specifically chose Egg Harbor because of its extensive, dedicated gluten-free menu. She was ecstatic with the number of options and the level of care taken to her allergies. They even brought out her food separately to make sure there was no room for it to cross-contaminate with my food. It was a little chilly inside but we were easily sat in a comfy booth that enjoyed natural light. I really liked my wrap and it help up as great leftovers for the next day! read more

Excellent delivery on Door Dash app. Impressed with their quality packaging and ingredients. Delicious nourishment; eggs over easy, cooked perfectly- homemade turkey sausage was delicious - and the home potato cubes. The shredded burnt end potatoes were also enjoyable. Fresh English muffin with a very nice jam on the side. Great Berry flavor. Excellent all the way around. Definitely recommend them and appreciate such a nice enjoyable meal. Ty read more

Stopped in for breakfast while attending a wedding reception in Oak Park. Friendly staff and delicious food. It's got a diner vibe but I really felt like they cared about the customers overall experience. Would definitely go back! read more

Order a breakfast skillet here and you'll get the basics done well. The iced tea with your own mini-carafe is nice too. Avoid the "homemade" biscuit and gravy. The biscuit is a chewy disk and the gravy tasteless. I left half a biscuit untouched. Very nice staff. read more

Always top notch but I just learned they validate parking in the lot next door! That makes things a whole lot easier. Visited today again - after multiple rounds of takeout over the past few months. Always delicious and also quick - food comes out relatively quickly. Lots of great breakfast options. I usually am here for lunch but today did breakfast - you can get your eggs in multiple ways and even in a wrap! I had the bacado (bacon, avocado, cheese, etc). It was great - with harbor potatoes on the side (and some salsa and sour cream). Really tasty and a great portion size! Good coffee which you can also take to go at the end of your meal and lovely staff. Everyone is really friendly and they're helpful and don't rush you. All around perfect spot for breakfast or lunch - dine in or takeout! read more

Egg Harbor is our go to for weekend breakfast or brunch. It has great food, service, and a nice vibe‼

Desperate for brunch on a recent Monday morning, we checked out Egg Harbor for the first time. It was just OK. VIBE: As might be expected of the genre, the dining room was white, bright, and lofty - not a bad scene for a Monday morning. There were only a few diners, so noise was not a problem. Booths were roomy. SERVICE: The staff was uniformly cheerful, cordial, and helpful. Food came out quickly. FOOD: A Bacado skillet (Mexican hash) was OK (heavy on potato and bacon, light on avocado). My companion said their pancakes were crumbly, as though they skimped on egg in the batter); I thought they tasted OK. Coffee was pretty bad; it was flat and old. Egg Harbor met our needs, but it was nothing special. If we were in a similar situation on a Monday morning, we might try it again. read more

I've always had a great experience at Egg Harbor. The service is consistent and friendly, helping the experience by server going above and beyond with asks. Food is good and fresh, with a vast variety of options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Decent cup of coffee. Lots of space and different tables and booths for parties of different sizes. This place is no frills BUT... Good food, good coffee, good service, and a huge menu. We all had savory breakfast so can't speak for the pancakes and whatnot, but everyone loved their egg dishes. Not photoed but the hollandaise was notable in how light it was. read more

The atmosphere at Egg harbor is lively and fun. Service is eggselent... but really our server was top notch with a great attitude and prompt response. The menu is robust. Plenty to choose from here ! I went with the Swedish pancakes and shared with a traditional breakfast player . Again service was rapid. For a Saturday morning the team At egg harbor delivered my food within 10 minutes of order! Coffee is delicious here. The lingonberry spread was just delightful. This is plenty of food. No problem getting filled up . Prices are decent considering the venue . Egg Harbor Cafe - Loved their iced coffee! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Oak Park, Illinois

Family friendly breakfast spot. It's spacious, a very large menu, and quick service. Food was average, it offers your typical breakfast/lunch items. The food didn't taste bad, it is just too much in my opinion. My family lives in the neighborhood and we liked the Elmhurst location, have been there for lunch several times. So I'd come back because it is an easy option where everyone can find something on the menu. read more

My husband and I went there on a Monday afternoon the place is huge the service is phenomenal!! The front manager was super nice and our server was very attentive. Our first experiences at Egg Harbor were in Hinsdale. How great that was! Many years later, an Elmhurst location opened. Since my husband and I worked in Elmhurst, we regularly ate lunch there. After many years of enjoyable meals, I was thrilled to learn Egg Harbor was coming to Oak Park. I was there for breakfast as soon as they opened! I was happy to learn these restaurants are still family owned. Oak Park Egg Harbor's food is delicious, as it always has been at every location I've been to. The menu is varied. Something for every taste. Eggs, crepes, waffles, smoothies, skillets, soups, salads, Door County Chicken salad!, even burgers. A kids' menu, too. Breakfasts or lunches are equally delicious. The atmosphere is bright and open. Spotlessly clean. Oak Park's manager is welcoming and upbeat. The servers are friendly and helpful. I recently found out that there is validated parking at the parking garage, which is a plus. For a tasty, filling breakfast or lunch and a relaxing atmosphere, you'll enjoy Egg Harbor, Oak Park. read more

I've been waiting for this location to open for awhile, and am so excited to be writing yet another great review for Egg Harbor! I ordered online and picked up inside. The interior was super clean, open, and bright, perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast. My classic order is the gluten free cinnamon roll and an iced matcha which both taste delicious. Online pick up was seamless and I will be dining in soon! read more

Went here for post work brunch with coworkers and we loved everything we ordered! Ahh! This used to be the Tied House, remember that? Egg Harbor has done it again. They open one in Downtown Evanston last November (see my review). I had the Chicken Chili, Tuna-Cado sandwich. I love this new breakfast spot in Oak Park! Perhaps they are not "new" anymore, but it was new for me and I loved how enthusiastic the staff is as well as how fresh the food it. I loved the chili- it was warm and hearty, and had some much nice additions like the fresh tomatoes and herbs on top. And the fresh fruit bowl was a marvelous surprise as often "fresh fruit" at a diner is really just melons topped with one mushy grape. Nope. This bowl was a very generous size and had blackberries, strawberries, melon- and it was just cut up, not soggy at all! The restaurant was busy, but the tables are nicely spaced out so it doesn't feel overwhelming or too noisy. I didn't catch our two servers names, darn. They were amazing. So friendly and as I said above, enthusiastic, even at the end of their shift as the restaurant was closing when we were leaving. This seems like a jolly place to work and is a super fun place for a breakfast or brunch. I will definitely return. read more

Ordered the Farmers Eggs Benedict and a coffee. Came out super quick - because it was barely cooked. Raw spinach and mushrooms....I really should have sent the whole thing back but was hungry and service was nowhere around so I scraped off uncooked mushrooms and spinach and ate the English muffin and tomato and sopped up some egg. And ate the artichoke hearts. Sweet potatoes were fine. Not going back - really unimpressed. read more
