Everything was really Good! Our waitress was amazing and very friendly. I personally am not a fan of breakfast or morning but this place made it so much better and durable.

The website stated *New Management* so I decided to try after avoiding for 1 year. Picked up food today and greeted immediately by a very nice guy! I believe he's the Manager - tall guy with a nice smile. My food was packaged perfectly including the 2 cup coffee holder they provided. Food was good as before. I deducted a star because Online Ordering was disabled for this location only - FYI you must call the restaurant to order.

It's nice to have a breakfast spot in the circle, as the food travels well just a few blocks to our home. We've ordered a few times over the past year and are always satisfied. We rarely order or go out to breakfast, and because of that I'm not too picky about it. Really all you have to do is crisp up those hash browns nice and brown, and I'm happy. I'm delighted to report that the hash browns were very crispy even after the 5 minute drive home. Yum! The crepes taste better than the picture would lead one to believe. The Greek yogurt was wonderful, as it satisfied my sweet tooth while keeping the dish manageable and not overly sweet. The Denver omelette (- ham) was filling and delicious as well, leaving us happy on a weekend morning!

My family and I visited today for the first time ever, and to my surprise the establishment is much larger than anticipated with booths lining along the walls and multiples tables placed in the center to accommodate large parties if necessary. The restaurant wasn't busy, a few tables, but surprisingly it took a while for us to be seated. But once we were I knew exactly what I wanted to order since I took the time looking over a menu at the front counter. Our server was the absolute kindest as she placed our daughter's order first since she was constantly demanding the Mickey Mouse pancakes. I went with the Ranchero omelette with a side of black beans. All in all the portions were very generous and the prices fairly matched the sizes of the dishes. I could see myself returning to try more dishes.

This place is right in the heart of Elmwood Park; what they call-the circle. Great venue for family. Most people that come here are regulars that live near the neighborhood. It's Good fast food, like really fast food.

Randomly found this place near our Airbnb. The food was delicious. Couldn't decide what to get so we ordered a few plates to try. The portions are huge and all very flavorful. The skillet had lots of steak and veggies. Just a tiny bit too salty so I ordered some sour cream to neutralize it. The crepes were thicker than I've usually had, but they were so good and it was plenty. Lastly the biscuit and gravy were also very good. Lots of flavor and very filling. The service was great despite having a big party and the restaurant itself is very nice and clean. Definitely recommend.

This is 2023 and I shouldn't be writing these type of reviews, but here I am... My husband and I are always looking for new restaurants to try. We are foodies at heart and enjoy trying restaurants we haven't been to before. I was scrolling on Yelp and found this nice and local breakfast and brunch restaurant. Of course we always read the reviews before we go. The reviews were great for a local spot. We were looking forward to going and trying it out. We even looked at the menu online and already picked out what we was going to order. When we walked in, we were not greeted. The host said: "Table for 2?" Not a good morning, how you're doing, nothing. We weren't expecting the red carpet treatment, but a simple "good morning" would've sufficed. The service was definitely slow. The waitress did not greet us either. She said: "What can I get for you?" Really? Ok. We placed our drink orders. We waited an additional 5 minutes to order the food. She wasn't attentive at all. We noticed another table that were seated 5 minutes after us. They were greeted with a big "good morning" with smiles included. We also overheard the waitress tell the table that the entire menu was available, both breakfast and lunch. They placed their orders immediately and way before us. If I knew that the whole menu was available, I would've ordered something else. The table that arrived after us got their food BEFORE us. We finally got our food. We had no problem with the food whatsoever. The food was good. But not good enough to be charged $44 and some change. Not good enough for the mediocre service we received. Also, our table was lopsided (with a piece of felt at the bottom to even it out) and my side of the booth was slanted. I had to sit on the edge of the seat just to get to my plate. I felt a racist vibe. My husband mentioned it first and I agreed with him. I'm going to go ahead and say it. The service was slower for us because we are black. If you're not black, you would never understand. "We" know what racism is, even if it's subtle and subliminal. Like I said, this is 2023 and I shouldn't be writing reviews like this. I would've like to return to try out the lunch menu, but that will not be happening. We will not "Eggsperience" this restaurant again. My husband and I eat out out all of the time. They missed out on potential life long customers, smh!

Tequila sunrise and coffee??? Oxymoron??

If your having trouble finding a great breakfast place... your need to experience eggsperience ... they have a great chilaquiles and they have a great breakfast sandwich. Not to mention the mimosas and tequila sunrise..for breakfast???? There is never a bad time for alcohol.. just saying. Priced right, service very attentive and very comfy place. I recommend the steak and eggs.. and chilaquiles.. spicy kick with a tolerable burn for those who cant handle heat. Coffee is always great. Go and check it out.. you can't go wrong. Menu has great options for those picky eaters... flavorful and filling. Priced right. Don't forget to order a bloody Mary for those who sport a hangover... it hits the spot. You can't go wrong. Cheers!

Bacon, sausage , ham omelette, hash browns and pancakes! So yummy

They asked if I wanted to meet for breakfast, and so after looking up the options close to their hotel (which was surprisingly limited), I stumbled upon Elly's. After looking at Yelp reviews, it seemed like a great option and would be easy for them to Uber to. And it was a great choice. We ordered coffee, which they promptly refilled multiple times for us, and then two of us got the crepes with either strawberries or blueberries on top, and the other got one of the omlettes. The crepes were extremely good. Portions are great and prices are reasonable given the amount of food. The staff was friendly at 6:45 in the morning (they were way more awake than I was) No photos of the food because it was my first time meeting one of my colleagues IRL (and only the second time meeting the other) and I didn't want to be weird haha. But trust me that the food looked great. I took my leftovers home to my parents' house (because I was visiting them afterward). I let my dad have them because I knew they wouldn't survive the extra 90 minutes back to my house when I was done with my visit. He told me later he put vanilla ice cream on them and they were delicious, so they held up well in the 45 minutes it took me to get from Elly's to their house, and being reheated later in the day. I'd definitely go back anytime coworkers are at a conference and want to meet up (which is surprisingly often. Perks of living near a hub!)

I don't remember it being this bad but... now I know, I guess. Food was not great. The pancakes were kind of--well, gummy is the word that springs to mind. Not pleasant to eat, at any rate. The omelet I ordered, the Southwestern Omelet I think, was ok. It was a bit thin, but maybe that's just because there were a lot of ingredients in it. The "Homemade" lemonade tasted like it was fountain lemonade. I left half of it, and the half that was consumed was mostly because my child wanted some. That was especially disappointing, because I don't order lemonade at restaurants unless it's not Minute Maid because that stuff is awful--and if Elly's truly has homemade lemonade, they should be embarrassed that it tastes identical to what Coke sells. I don't usually eat everything when I go out for breakfast and am happy to take half home for another breakfast, but I didn't want to take any of this home with me. I will say that they're fast--we were here less than an hour. I think it took fewer than 15 minutes from the time we were seated to when we got our meal, and we didn't order immediately upon being seated. We went on Saturday round 9:45 a.m. and it was half empty, though it was Easter weekend so I'm not sure if that had any impact.

(Sorry, no pictures this time! I was enjoying my food so much that I completely forgot.) The ambiance is welcoming, bright, and modern, and the restaurant is much larger than I expected. Everything was clean, and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Lox Plate, and it was outstanding. The salmon had the perfect texture and seasoning, the cucumbers and bagel were fresh, and all of the flavors paired together beautifully. I love seeing lox on a menu, but many restaurants either don't do it well or serve portions that are too small. Here, everything was spot on, and the portion was generous enough that I left completely satisfied. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal, and my husband and I have already said we'll be back very soon. This restaurant is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, especially since there aren't many local breakfast spots nearby that aren't part of a chain. Highly recommend!

That said, there are so many options, particularly for this vegetarian and egg hater. Pro tip: Make a reservation! The place had a solid wait from the time we arrived until we left. Service was ok, spotty at bits, but I also attribute it to the place being busy. We had to ask a second time for some missing items. To eat, I got the berry crepes and a side of hash browns with cheese. My friend got the eggs Benedict with a side of pancakes. The crepes were very good, but I preferred the bites without the berry mascarpone filling. The side of pancakes my friend got was huge, this would be plenty as a main. They are very good at accommodating larger parties, but do wait to seat you until your party is all there.

It is an incredibly inviting space; very clean, very bright, and I love all the plants decorating the place to give it a bath of warmth when it could otherwise be cold and sterile. It was just me and my kiddo and we ordered a lot. She is a huge fan of pancakes so that's what she got, and I got the fig frittata. We also got the havarti hash, because it sounded really good, and it didn't disappoint. I'm not sure if I've had a frittata or omelet that is like this, with such a strong sweet profile with the savory. It was interesting. I added sausage too and it was pretty good. The hot chocolate was tasty, and they have quite a few beverage options from mimosas to juices to lattes as you might expect. I'd thought this maybe was just a juice bar with some pastries but I was mistaken. They have a full, albeit small, menu, with impressive dishes and beautiful presentation. They also have had several fundraisers in the short time they've been open. Parking is good. The parking lot *beneath* the surface lot is actually public parking, not just for the condos as I once thought. There's also public parking across the street by the library and street parking along the Northwest Highway side of the restaurant.
